Definitely some of the best food in Olympia, as you'd expect the price tag is rather high, and while generally reasonable for the quality of food, it is important to know that the cheapest full meal is at least 20$ and that probably will not leave you full.

Don't expect to take advantage of any real happy hour food unless you show up by 4 pm. It's only available in the bar and if you sit at a table they give you a laughable prix fixe menu for $26.

My go to place to take people when they visit. Amazing happy hour. Best restaurant view in town! The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. It can get pretty pricey in the evening but their lunch menu and happy hour menu are both fantastic! 3pm to 7pm is a long happy hour!

Took a friend for her Birthday, food is good but I found the menu to be limited. I had a cocktail, very little alcohol in it!the view is wonderful, service is OK but its very loud , hard to talk due to noise of other patrons!

I'm a fan of Hearthfire. Not uncommon for me to be there several times a week. Dinner there tonight started out OK and went downhill. We wanted regular and sunset dinner menus. Had to ask for the later which we ordered from. Service very slow even for drinks. No salt in shaker. Flat bread supposed to come with dinner never xame. Took what seemed like half hour for main course. Flank steak smelled and tasted like burnt grill. Slowest server ever. Next time I'll go somewhere else.

I give them 5 stars because here is the most tasty beef burger I ever ate. My friends go for a pizza and it was also tasty but for me the burger was perfect! Also the location of this place is very beautiful, you have a direct view to the lake because you are on the shore of the lake.

This is such a great location for a romantic dinner, or a pleasant business meeting. Views of the sound with sailboats, rowboats, seals, and all kinds of birds. The food is reliably good and fresh. Expect to pay $15 - 35 / plate.

Three visits here, two of which were good. The third visit taught me to never order anything that is a special, or on sale, as the kitchen pays far less attention to that meal's quality.

Ordered a flank steak that was surrounded by fat, which makes no sense.

For those that do not know; flank steak is technically not a steak at all. This cut of beef comes from the cow's belly muscles. It's very lean, containing almost no fat. Despite its toughness, it can be a tasty and tender if you learn how to prepare it properly.

**to the out-of-town folks that refused to wear masks inside the restaurant because "they were better than that"... You are truly a joke.**

My Hearthfire Grill visit was my first and probably my last dinner experience. I've eaten several times at Anthony's in Seattle and Olympia's Homeport restaurant with no complaints. I ordered Lingcod with a cup of Crab and Corn chowder. The chowder base was very bland. I was waiting for the crab to change my mind but it was absent. So I set it aside aside and started on my entree. After removing the thinly sliced potato that was tough and tasteless from the top of the lingcod, I noticed the fish was overcooked. It would have been edible if it wasn't for the red onion that over powered the flavor of the delicate cod. So I finished the side dishes and called it good. Anthony's has always been known for their seafood but failed miserably with this dish. So to sum it up, those who ordered the steak dinners were very pleased but others in our party that ordered seafood, were disappointed. Where's the love? The presentation was great but for crying out loud, taste the food before it leaves the kitchen.

Came in for dinner. Made reservations, still had to wait but could see plenty of open tables. Amazing view of the water, Olympic mountains, and enjoyed the sunset. The food was flavorful and cooked well. The server was nice but seemed to be m.i.a. at times.

Great ambience, top-notch service, incredible view & an excellent menu combined for a truly enjoyable dining experience... slightly pricey but not exorbitantly so for the value they offer...if you're celebrating a milestone event with loved ones or dear friends, consider Hearthfire Grill to make it memorable.

Amazing views out on the water, at dusk you can watch the sunset on the Olympic Mountains. Great location, great service, you can't find anything on the menu that isn't good. Great bar as well.

Food was what you expect from Anthony s, excellent! Service was amazing. This place is top notch for a casual bite at the bar or bring your family and friends for a get together. Beautiful views as well!

This place is excellent even for vegetarians & those with gluten allergies! Just be sure to talk with your server/bartender about any allergens or dietary restrictions. The view is heavenly & their happy hour in the bar/lounge is great! No matter where you sit in the restaurant the view is amazing since the whole place is made of windows :) highly recommend any travelers to stop by here for a bite to eat, you'll be getting an amazing Pacific Northwest dining experience!

Anthony's Heartfire Grill is a great restaurant with beautiful views of south Puget Sound. It's one of our favorite places to bring family to when they visit town. The service and food are always great and their patio dining during warmer months is amazing. If you haven't visited yet, you're missing out!

I give it two stars because our waiter was decent if not a bit curt and the view is to die for. Other than that we were disappointed. I ordered a fillet medium rare that came out well past well done. I would have asked for a new steak but we had already waited an hour since ordering. The veggies tasted burnt and bland. My husband thought his swordfish was decent, but wasn t too impressed with the rest of his plate.

I feel like the prices are way too high for such a disappointing experience.

Edit: the restaurant manager has reached out to try and make our experience better. I ve updated to 3 stars for now and will update further if we end up with a better dinner!

Edit again:. I've bumped up our score. We ended up going back after the manager reached out and had a much better experience. The food was cooked right this time, and our waiter was a lot more friendly than the last one, and we just had a better time overall.

I still think it may be a bit overpriced, and would honestly probably give it more a 4 star than 5 due to this, but even so I'm giving a full 5 star because of their effort to invite us back, and because in generally it was a much more lively and upbeat visit. It was a bit depressing last time, but everything was more enjoyable this time and I very much appreciate and respect their efforts to make things right.

Made a 7:45 reservation, seated around 8:20. Window seat with huge streak of bird excrement going down entire window. Flat bread brought out promptly - it was so salty we ended having to scrape the salt off. Service was prompt & drinks served quickly. Food arrived amazingly fast. The panko cod was crisp coated & flaky inside, coleslaw was blah & no dressing on it, fries were limp & undercooked. One of my dining companions who is vegan ordered Cesar salad which was a very, very small portion. The creme brulee had very small amount of custard & tons of sugar coating, way too sweet. Understandingly they are just getting going after Covid closure. Hopefully they will improve. Also, menu was very limited.
