Been here a million times over 20 years. Always get the Queen Cut Prime Rib. Never disappointed!
Awesome service and food, the burgers were very good, tasty and well done. Fair prices, definitely a very good place to go
On the short list of late late night food in DC Annie's is probably near the top. It's very gay friendly on the weekends too.
Seriously best burgers I have eaten in my life and nice atmosphere
They served very delicious food. Servers were so nice and attentive.
The place is legendary and the food keeps me coming back
Steak was disgusting: burnt and poor flavor. Other food was just okay. Staff was ok.
Service was fantastic, food was great. Its a very nice and welcoming feel to the restaurant. Recommend to anyone looking g for a nice night out with there significant others.
Great service, beautiful decor and my steak was delicious! Our waiter Chris made my night! He had such a bubbly welcoming nature. My husband and I have dined several times in the Dupont Circle and have been treated poorly. Annie's reassured our faith in Dupont Circle!
Great spot whether you go late night or during the day. Food is always on point.
Went here while on a business trip to DC. Picked the place off a quick google search. Difficult to find parking nearby, which is likely common around that area. The food was fairly decent, but slightly overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere inside was a bit odd.
I have hear a lot of great reviews about this place I know it's a hot spot for gay singles as well as couples but the food and service I hear is amazing a neighborhood restaurant well lit at night so romantic really. I will have to come back as a customer not only just to pick up or drop off friends for meeting others or for a amazing dinner late at night after hours of night clines this place is still open it's 3am it's full of plenty of people,e the smell of food cooking wow a must see for myself soon. My review of the food and service will have to follow what I have heard and seen. Go check it out I hear great things about this restaurant. It's a landmark in business for 69years. How many 24 hour steak houses are open on the weekends. It's been in business since 1948. Clark and his crew will take great care of you even in the wee hours of the morning open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday and holiday Sunday. Hours 10am to 11pm durning. The week so stop by any time at night tell the bar tender I sent you. Lol.
Got a 30 dollar new York strip. Asked for medium rare. Was burnt on the outside. Very dry. Not seasoned well. I've made much better steaks on my own.
The sides were not well made. The buttered carrots did not have any butter on them. The tomatoes were not ripe and basically tasted like bamboo.
This gets two stars because at least it was edible. I just expected more from a place that charged 30 dollars and has "steakhouse" in its name.
I have been coming here for years. It's a tiny bit pricey but the food is excellent
Fantastic bbq. Excellent raw material, reasonable prices
A DC staple and anchor of the Dupont gayborhood. Be sure to ask for Al if you re stopping in for brunch. Open late on the weekends.
I've been going there since the early 1980s. Great place
Gem of a find in DuPont Circle. Bar is fun and food is very good. Lively and a lot of regulars.
Looks like an interesting place. Awesome decor and the tea was good. But the service sucks. These people don't know how to run a restaurant. It's so sad.
Good food, nice neighborhood restaurant, reasonably priced. It came highly rated on TripAdvisor so I checked it out. For a steak, cooked right well seasoned. Apparently a large gay hangout, so don't be shocked when you arrive.
Love the atmosphere and the WINGS. The bartender upstairs always delivers when I don't know what I want and ask for something yummy
Excellent staff, food and atmosphere. Had a great experience.
Excellent food, strong drinks, great social distancing, awesome atmosphere!
Annie's is still a classic family operated independent steak house, meat cooked as requested with mashed or baked or fried potatoes. It continues to anchor 17th Street NW, open 24/7 on weekends. Go back for the memories. Stay for the food.
Fabulous!
It was worth peddling up to!!
The server was a total jerk. Only checked on us once. When we were putting our leftovers in a box, he grabbed my plate from me and said this is how you do it, and dumped my food in the box. How rude. It was like he was rushing us to get out of there. The food was O.K. have had better steaks. It was really loud in there, might as well have went to a club! Won't be going back to Annie's again.
Super friendly service, extremely clean environment, excellent food!
Bake potato was old as hell, carrots was raw
No seasoning on my rib eye. I feel like I need a refund. I'm here from Cleveland. I would never go there again
Food was Great & service was too ! Thanks Darling !
Hello, good morning, I loved it because they sell dishes of what you want, they prepare them very delicious and they also serve delicious desserts, I recommend them, it is in Washington, DC.
Amazing food and great customer service! Our server latoya is amazing suggested the chicken something with mushrooms and cheese and omg it was incredible! We also had a had a salad, the onion ring that are also incredible and some fries! Everything was so good! We are just visiting but will Definitely be back!
Awesome Happy hour, great bar food and even better steaks!! Cajun Ribeye is a must!!
Quite expensive but worth it. Great steaks and fresh sides. Friendly service.
Not that classy so if you are okay with paying $25 or more per head for great food and not having to dress up I'd say go for it
The food is awesome
Social distancing is being respected
Its nice to be able to go out and eat
The server was amazing and the food was great there was a little wait but it was worth it would recommend
We celebrated my spouse's birthday here this year. He enjoyed the Pan-Roasted Rainbow Trout, and I loved the penne pasta in basil pesto with mushrooms, tomatoes and parmesan. We had carrot cake and strawberry shortcake to finish the meal. Everything was yummy, as always.
This is an old-school steak house with a twist in that it has a long tradition of being a gay-friendly and inclusive restaurant. I don't come here very often these days, but I do come every once in awhile over the 20 years, and the service has always been consistently friendly, and the food well-prepared and tasty. I did hear recently that some of the younger gays are calling this the "mausoleum" (or something like that) because so many of us over-50-crowd frequent this establishment, but hey, they're not even going to the bars, and they're all dying out, so at least we older gsys can patronize a classy restaurant that serves good food with good service. I think all are welcome here.
Great place food is fab need to go more often.
Try it you will like it.
Wonderful tasting food. We did feel we were singled out for not being the typical demographic that visits this establishment. However, best Crab cake.
Absolutely amazing! Great food and the fastest service I've seen.
I would give 10 stars of I could. The food was fabulous. Best French dip I've ever had. But the highlight was Papa. He deserves an award for best server in the world. A true gem of a man.
Good atmosphere, good food! Quite pricey but portion sizes were decent. Busy but still served quickly
Always a great place to go before or after your long night of partying! A DC Must
It's such a beautiful location. We got a booth in the bar section, which spacious and vibrant. Service was prompt and attentive. Cocktails are a bit on the pricey side (so are the steaks, but hey, you know where you are). Food was amazing, my steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare - that's a rare skill. Delicious. Will come back.
This place never disappoints. This time I've had a meatloaf and it was really good. My wife always orders Athenian Chicken, she loves it! My son gets Pear Chicken Salad. Servers are very attentive. Very friendly atmosphere. The place has an amazing vibe.
Great place with s
Weekly specials that are delish! Ask for.James!
Really wonderful Ribeye, crazy amount of food, personable staff... amazingly fast
Fantastic food!! Great appetizers and atmosphere as well! A must go if in DC!
I went here whilst visiting DC on business and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The wine was fine, the atmosphere was warm and the food was thoroughly delicious! If I am lucky enough to find myself in DC again I will definitely be making a return visit!
An old standby. Decent food and excellent wait staff.
Always one of my favorite stops when I'm in DC. Gay + Steakhouse = Awesome! And I honestly don't remember the last time I had so perfectly cooked a filet mignon! And I'm from NEBRASKA!
Good food, but a bit over priced for what you get. If the pricing was a bit lower I would give a higher star rating.
One of the best steaks I've had in recent memory. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Would come back here in a heart beat!
Great place to go for a quick burger or a full dinner. I ve been going since I moved to the dmv and have never been disappointed
My wife and I just had r 25th anniversary dinner here and it was awesome. We came from S.A TX 2 visit D.C and we already.have had a great experience. The waiter was awesome, the drinks perfect but food was so so good.
I have been coming to Annie's since 1995 always outstanding service and food.
My new late night spot. Great drinks and decent late night food
Great Happy Hour prices Food (Special Menu) and Drinks on Friday!
Not what it seems there's absolutely nothing Paramount about Annies at all took a friend a few weeks ago and the food was good but the service...Sheesh.
Have always loved this place. First time back in a several years because I live out of town and it was just as good as I remember. It IS a steak house so is does have those prices but its worth it.
The food is regularly well prepared and delightful, staff members provides good customer service. I like the cleanliness and mood. Would recommend to others.
I love everything about this place, I've been going there for years, Feels Like Home, especially with Papa waiting on you!
Very nice atmosphere with great food. I recommend the Irish Coffee
Anytime we find ourself in DC with our friends we make it a point to stop by here. The staff is friendly and the bartender on the second floor, Dan is excellent. Fun, quick, and well versed in cocktails he helps make the experience. My boyfriend and I got vodka cranberry and an order of chicken tenders which were very tasty.
This was one of the best food places you can go in d.c.
This is a DuPont Circle mainstay. Whenever I'm in the District somehow we end up at Annie's.
