Wait staff was great and the food not disappointing would put this top of my list.

The worst dinner I have had since moving to Kent Island. Baked oyster sampler was cold, lobster and shrimp carbonara was NOT carbonara, and prime rib was mediocre. Will NOT be returning. Hugely disappointed.

I have been going here for 14 years and I have never had a bad meal or a bad server. The staff is super friendly and they really get to know you which feels really nice. Trust me you won t be disappointed with this restaurant. The food and the people are really special.

Everything about ending a night at Annie's... YES!! Some of the best breakfast in town, they're open super late, the staff is amazing... they'll get a seat pretty quickly even if there is a big of a wait, but for the steak tips, some scrambled eggs and grits after a solid Saturday night out, it is WELL work the wait for a few minutes!

Came for a short trip to DC.... holy cow!!! Not only was our food amazing, the waiter was the best I've had in a long time. He even changed our wine selection according to our dinners. Absolutely fantastic place!

The customer service was amazing, everyone was so nice. The food could've use more flavor to be honest. There were a couple of tables that were super loud next to us and they got louder by the second, the staff were able to get them to quiet down but they just got louder. I would definitely come back.

Their Athenian chicken is to die for. One of my favorite places in Dupont.

I had excellent service today. The hostess found me a table quickly and let me choose one of two options that were open.
My waiter customized a shrimp salad that I did not want served on a bun.
The steak fries were very nice. The decore of the place is cute and bright.

Crab bites were good but the 17thSt.Cocktail not so much

A local spot, hit or miss experience. Annie's has been around nearly as long as I've been alive. Been coming here on an off since 2004. The experience is almost always the same, average to bad service, sassy comical attitude from the staff, quickly served and average tasting diner style food. It seems its still in existence simply because its in the former gayborhood turned young Gen X'ers with kids. Not great, not bad, it is what it is.

Annie s is my go-to place for great food and service late night on weekends.

So many great review my mom and I decided to give them a try. We were very disappointed. We got our steaks medium well and they were awful. Hard to cut and chew. The sides are good and the service was as well.

The food came out fast, there was no wait to be seated, and it was not crowded. Food is okay. I had the fillet mignon and it was not amazing. The side of fries were soggy. The side of vegetables were very oily and salty. Its a good place to meet friends, causally.

I've been coming to Annie's for 30 years ..still my favorite place to go....like a home away from home. I LOVE Mano...the food and the atmosphere are both great!!!

I ordered the filet mignon medium rare. The steak was decent but I thought it would be a little softer. Wine was good. Service was good. Restaurant is very well located and easy to find. Pleasant ambience. Overall we had a good time. 4.5 stars.

Food was excellent, kinda seems like if you are straight, you are unwelcome

I go to Annie's occasionally had some family members meet me there for din, what I did notice about one of the waitresses is that she wasn't very welcoming to my family members I've never had any issues with the wait staff there and always felt welcomed I noticed that the waitress didnt come to our table alot and when other guests arrived she would greet them pleasantly, have conversations with them, pull out their chairs for them. Again I wasn't treated that way at all but family members were not pleased and that didn't make me happy. I believe that waitress needs to be addressed, and I won't be coming to Annies anytime soon.

Love this place. The food is delicious, customer service is superb.

By far one of the most fun and delicious places in Washington DC. We first visited Annie's Steak House in 2011 and was impressed by the friendly atmosphere, quality of food, and reasonably priced menu. This weekend in April 2017, we took another trip down and Annie's was on the top of our dinner list. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Once again the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the food was fantastic and reasonable priced, and the service was pretty good too!

I had my standard Mushroom Swiss Burger, a simple test for any restaurant worth it's weight in salt, and loved it. Despite my medium-well preference, the meat was tender-juicy sirloin, and perfectly cooked. The brioche bun was fresh and soft. And the fries were golden colored, just like I like em. We'll continue coming back to Annie's whenever we visit DC.

Crabcakes was terrible. 80% filling with 20% crabmeat.

Service was great, food tasted good, but would rather come back because of the atmosphere.

Great wait staff. Fried clams are incredible!!! Super friendly place. Buffalo wings are a little dry but still tasty.

I've ate here only once to my visit to Washington D.C. Me being a straight man this is not the place I wanted to inhabit on a Sunday night. The food was good but being surrounded by gay men wasn't a preference.

It is way over priced for what you get. But the food is good. Steak is average. Rice pilaf is delicious! French fries were great. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Quite simply ... one of my favourite restaurants. Simple ordinary decor. Impeccable Service and outrageously good steaks. Get the Bull in The Pan.

Annie's is a staple of Dupont, and has been for like 75 years. No matter who you deal with, they will be AWESOME, knowledgeable, personable, and experienced, which are just not common traits in a restaurant

Waitress that works the weekend midnight shift has a very nasty attitude.

This place was PACKED for pride. Somehow my friend and I got a seat quickly and w out problem.
The servers are great. They move fast and efficiently.
Our food was superb. They had it out in no time at all. Being hungry, this made it a more pleasurable experience. Can I say again "the food was superb....?"

Really good food, but finding parking is a nightmare! Go early!

Annie's Paramount Steak House is one of the few restaurant in DC where I can spend more that $100 and feel that it is worth it and It is also the only $$$$ restaurant that I visit regularly.

What to get when you go to Mastro's? My most recommended food there is, surprisingly, their lobster mash potatoes. I am not a big mas potatoes fan, but oh my, their mash potatoes is the best I have ever had in my life. Second recommendation would be their rib eye. Take a bite and see it for yourself. It melts and is very flavorful.

I always love the ambience, the service, the quality of the food and the generosity of the cocktails.

The food isn't really bad. I ordered a 13$ burger and a coke and received normal frozen fries you can get anywhere and a bottle of coke... Yes. A bottle. It's also in the gay district so if you aren't gay watch out

The service is great, the market prices. For example, full meal with filet mignon came out to $ 20 dollars.

Go to the upstairs bar Thursday through Saturday nights. Bartender Dan makes the best drinks.

On Saturday night, March 30th, five friends went to Annie s Paramount Steakhouse on the recommendation of a friend who said the restaurant was a James Beard award winner. We were seated in what I assume is the main dining room in the rear of the restaurant. We had a very personable waiter named Eduardo. Once our drinks and food was ordered, the dining room began filling up with other patrons. For the most part it looked to us like there were a lot of locals who frequent the restaurant. Then a large group of millennials arrived and were seated in two different tables across from one another. The loud talking and screaming began immediately to the point that diners could not hold a conversation with the table mates. I got up and politely asked the group to please tone it down as we could not talk with our friends. The other patrons were also disturbed by this loud behavior to the point that when one couple got their food, they immediately asked for the food to be boxed up and they left. When the group did not tone it down, I went to the front of the restaurant and asked for the manager. I spoke with Jadawn and asked that she speak to the group. Jadawn s response was that she could not do anything about it. We finished our meal as quickly as we could, paid our bill and as we were walking out, the group stood up and clapped. I stopped by to tell Jadawn that I thought she handled the situation poorly. She again indicated there was nothing she could do about it.

Always have a good experience in Annie's especially at the bar. Heather, Mellissa and Skyler always make it a pleasant experience. I mostly eat at the bar which has a full menu including prime beef! Sunday buffet either in the bar area or in the main dining rom is a must.

The food was mediocre. They served instant mashed potatoes with my meal that were dry and tasteless. At the prices they charge that is a little tacky. Our waiter seemed like he was doing us a favor serving us. He had the personality of a fruit fly. With all the choices in the area they need to elevate their game if they care.

Their meat was bomb and the bartender was awesome (I had a few too many and he very kindly helped me get home safely).

I asked for a strip. I think I was served a ribeye. Still amazing. Cooked and seasoned very well. Service was great!

What a gem 5x100000! Best atmosphere, service, drinks, food, company...and they feed bacon to fur babies that walk by! We will travel from CA just to eat here again! Love you Annies!!!!

Food is great, my waiter gave bad service. He wasn't available even when it was light service. He had the kitchen staff bring our food out and was not available or too occupied, to provide any service. Unless he was cooking or just new, he seemed over occupied. Not sure what he was doing, but it was not work. He didn't get all of our order correct and far from attentive. He was not a good waiter and I've been here before and received better service. I wouldn't trust him to wash dishes. Hence, the reason I gave 3 stars this time.
Other than that, I really do love coming here. Great menu and food.

Went for brunch here today and I was not disappointed. If you're looking for a lot of breakfast food options, this isn't your place. However what they do have, they do very well. Great coffee. Great service.

Annie s is my DC go-to place, set on a colorful quaint street, 17th St. Lots of people watching too. The best, most reliable, great tasting food and great portions in the District. They keep the place spotless they replaced their air conditioner recently and they ve got ample (and very colorful) outdoor seating as well. I ve NEVER had a below-average meal there. It s always fresh and delicious. Don t pass it up!

Appetizers, dinners, desserts and service were all great. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because we had to send back two steaks for being under-cooked. The price was also good considering the quality of the food!
