I started going to this vet because of Dr. Diamond. He retired this year. That leaves 2 vets. I'm not happy with Dr. Ball. But Dr. Laura is knowledgeable on cats and dogs. So we will be seeing her since Dr. Diamond retired. I would absolutely recommend taking your babies to this vet. But ask for Dr. Laura.

The staff is very caring helpful! I recommend this place for everyone due to just how the staff is!! Every question is answered and the staff not only cares about the animals they care about the pet owners as well!!! I can only put a 5 star however they definitely deserve a trillion stars!!!!

Extraordinaire is the perfect name for this business. Not only do they give unparalleled service to my best friend time and time again, they also take the time to inform and comfort me as an owner. They actually care about you and your pet. We've been seeing them for about 2 years.

So far, I have only come in to get my cat's claws clipped. I have a torn rotator cuff and cannot bring her into the facility. The girls there are very willing to help in both bringing the cat in and returning her to my car.
Everyone is friendly and very professional.

Vet awesome.Picked up immediately, my sons dog, Buddy had been terribly abused his lst 5 yrs of his life But felt secure with his new owner. Total visit had to do with including my son,,Bill ,holding, petting talking softly and reinforcing security issues.We left the Vet office with one VERY Trusting Dog and his relieved Daddy!Great experience for All!

They took great care of my cat on a Sunday when most other places are closed. They also solved my cat's vomiting problem during a routine dental cleaning (which was affordable and competitively priced, by the way).

I had a cat dieing from cancer and made an appointment to have her put to sleep. I had another cat put to sleep a year prior and was charged 125.00 . Thought that was high but did but what was best for my animal. I got there and was informed it would be 220.00 dollars!!! I was told an exam was required, my poor cat was dehydrated, weighed maybe 6 pounds, had no control of her bowels and just needed to be put out of her misery. Exam for what???? To make money!!!! Walked out told them to rip off someone else! Went to Stuart Animal Hospital told them what happened and it was done at N/C !! Compassion maybe they could take some of there money and buy some!!!!!!!!!

The after surgery of my dog, was a terrible experience because there was no support from vet. I do not recommend this vet.

Our Sweet Oliver was visiting the Palm City area for the winter in 2021. He was diagnosed with a Collapsed Trachea several years ago. His cough intensified and we had exhausted medical options for his condition. We made an appointment with Dr. Faurquette and along with his Ohio medical team we saw him through to a peaceful passing
We are grateful for Dr. Faurquette, her knowledge, professionalism and compassion.

We love Dr Fourquet and the entire staff at Animal Care Extraodinaire. They took fantastic care of our 17 year old yorkie during the last year of his life, and treated us with great compassion when he passed. Now we have a Shih_Tzu puppy they make us and the puppy feel comfortable and valued. I love the fact they have Sunday hours.

I've been bringing my pets to Animal Care since I was kid, over 30 years ago! The doctors and staff are fantastic and provide top notch care for my pet. :-)

Really a pleasure dealing with this organization. having problems with your pet is always a scary especially with the unknown possible financial costs involved. I find these people reasonable to deal with and I also got a call from the vet two days later to check on things and bring me up to date on what is needed and not needed. Also didn't push a bunch of extra tests that were not necessary

Extremely competent and friendly staff. Nice facilities and following safe Covid protocols. A bit pricey compared to other vets we have used. Highly recommend.

I am new to the Stuart area and needed to get my two dogs groomed. Animal Care Extraordinaire was pretty close to where I live, so I made an appointment. Once I was there and experienced the caring staff, I thought why not bring the dogs here for any veterinary care? Every single person I have encountered at Animal Care Extraordinaire has been extraordinary!. Receptionist, vet tech, vets. This is a top-notch place and I'm so glad I found it. It is one-stop-shopping: grooming, vet appointments, pet hospital and kennel. All with unparalleled professional staff.

So nice and sweet to my cats that I brought in for a check up and flea treatment! Wonderful service and answered all my questions. Clean and speedy service, Definitely recommend!

This vet is really good. They have 3 vets that cycle. 2 of the vets are really good. One I'm not happy with. He's an idiot. If you go to this vet see Dr. Laura or Dr. DIAMOND. Do not see Dr. Ball, he isn't that good with dogs he's ok, but with cats he doesn't know what he is talking about. He also hates the poodle breed.

I just LOVE Animal Care Extraordinare. They really are great people from the front office to the Vets. We always used Dr Diamond & Dr Ball, but now live across the country & trust me, it was hard to find a Vet of their caliber, but we finally did.

Both of the doctors have found rare things on my dogs & cats that I m pretty sure another Vet wouldn t find. I say this, because an emergency Vet misdiagnosed my cat when she was in ketoacidosis & needed insulin and she refused to give it to her. She died! That s when we started with Animal Care Extraordinare & Dr Diamond. Both Dr Diamond & Dr Ball diagnosed Harry after we bought a bag of puppy chow (per the breeder) at PetSmart. Harry wasn t 6 months old yet & couldn t eat anything without getting severe diarrhea. Dr Ball put him on a special diet & asked me to bring in his puppy food. I brought it in & they found out that there were unidentifiable mites in the chow, verified by the State lab & Auburn Vetrinary School lab. The mites were traced back to Purina & PetSmart had to pull all the bags off of their shelves. Harry was put on Hills ZD Diet, because he could no longer eat anything with meat in it & the ZD Diet breaks it down to enzymes so that dogs & cats with allergies can eat it. Purina caused the mess & didn t lift one finger to help. They didn t even reimburse the puppy chow & they know that it was my bag. It had to be called into the FDA, which includes pet s name & owners name & address.
Dr Ball also diagnosed kidney disease in a newly adopted 2 year old cat (he was a big boy). A few weeks later, he diagnosed that he was also diabetic, which is rare, because they are 2 separate diseases. Dr Diamond diagnosed that my other cat had kidney cancer. We adopted him at 35 lbs & he couldn t lose weight. It was a huge kidney tumor. We moved across the country. When we came back for a year, we were 20 miles north of them, so I had to try a couple of Vets near me. My dog Harry (Boston Terrier & a loving dog) had broken at least 1 tooth on a soft doggie cookie that I had just bought. I tried 2 different Vets near my house. Neither one actually looked into Harry s mouth. I knew at least 1 tooth cracked...I heard it happen! I called Animal Care Extraordinare & they told me that they would love to see my little family again & would see Harry the next day. Harry had TWO broken teeth, straight down to the gums & they had now abscessed. Dr Diamond chose to operate in 2 parts because he said that Harry was in a lot of pain with this condition. He gave him an antibiotic that lasts for 2 weeks and a pain shot. He drew labs for anesthesia. A few days later he took the first tooth out, complete with a report & pictures. Per his report, the tooth was very abscessed, but he got that all out. He took the second tooth out exactly 1 week later, after the first tooth healed a bit, & the abscess was much better because the antibiotic had time to work on it. He made sure that there was no abscess & everything was flushed out. Harry still had 1 more week to make sure that no infection would come back.
So, you can see why I love Animal Care Extraordinare! They are the best diagnosticians, they care about you and your fur babies (or whatever your pet is), and they find things that no other Vet does because they have state of the art equipment. Even before that, they were the best, because they did the neutering for the Humane Society. So, their combined experience puts them above the rest.

We first discovered Dr. Ball after bringing in stray cat that had been run over by a car. She had 7 breaks in her leg bones and needed emergency care and surgery. Dr. Ball operated on the cat, piecing together the bone fragments and shattered bone. He placed bars and pins to keep the ones stable as they healed. Later named Poppy, the cat made a complete recovery. Poppy runs, jumps and chases the other cats around the house. Poppy, my husband and myself, owe everything to Dr. Ball, his staff and his Animal Hospital for their amazing care and compassion.

Drs Diamond and Ball have been wonderful, caring vets to all of our dogs over the years. They have added more days to many of our puppy's lives, and they have made our vacations extraordinary by boarding some of our other guys. The staff couldn't be more caring or well-trained either. And, I have never had a dog that didn't look forward to their ACE visit (even my old guy Rudder's very last visit), unlike some others who had to be dragged or carried into other vet's offices. Thanks for all you do!

Have 2 great Danes and had one fixed and gastroplex and decided to do my other dane. I'm glad I did it thankyou to the staff and Dr Ball did a great job on both my dogs. The staff is vary kind and sweet leaving the 2 there to have the surgery. Dr Ball has great experience with this breed of dog thanks agian for taking great care of my boys.

Loved the caring vet and vet techs. They were so good with Hershey.

They saved my 10 year old Pomeranian s life! I brought her into another hospital where they misdiagnosed her. For days I was left with no answers or a proper diagnoses and she was getting progressively worse. Until I went with my gut and brought her in to animal care extraordinaire. They gave me the first available appointment with DR. Ball and I am so glad we went because he performed the life saving surgery she needed the same day. He went above and beyond for my sweet little girl. I can t say enough good things about them or thank them enough. I will never go to another vet again!

My male cat has diabetis and was had neuropathy. Since having laser treatments at Animal Extraordinaire he is now able to walk on his toes and jump up on chairs and sofa. Amazing.

They saved my little girl s life! I brought her to another vet closer to my house and they misdiagnosed her with a GI infection and her sent her home. She was lethargic for days. Almost a week later she was getting progressively worse and I wasn t getting any answers and was in tears over it. I went to animal care in the past so I called them and they gave me the first appointment available that morning. You d think as a dog mom taking your pooch to the Dr. will make them better, but not all vets are created equal and Dr. Ball knew right away what was wrong with her. It took him 2 seconds to figure it out just by examining her. The surgery was expensive but it was my own fault for letting it go so long. And it was a lot less than what the ER vet would have charged. Learn from my mistake and Spay and neuter your dogs early on! You won t regret it.

We haven't had the procedure done yet, but we met with Dr. Ronald Ball and he explained to us everything in terms that we completed understand. He was confident and when I reached out to the Treasure Coast Great Dane Gang, this was the number one vet used.

Time to find a new Vet service . First of one of the receptionist is consistently rude...I was double charged on the last visit ..over charged on the last 2 visits before that ....My dogs likes to go everywhere...but after about 6 visits....they dont wanna get out of the PU when they see Animal Care Extraordinaire. I let the dogs speak for themselves. woof

We moved from Stuart 9 years ago and no longer have any animals. We keep receiving unsolicited marketing emails and have tried opting out of the email list but they keep sending unwanted emails!

This is by far the best Vet office you will ever find.
We have seen 3 different doctors here. All Amazing! The front office staff is phenomenal. The prices are extremely reasonable and they Never push extra procedures.
I will honestly never take my pets anywhere else.

I took my dog in there on a Sunday because she was limping they are not my usual vet but they treated my little Sasha like she was part of the family I would highly recommend them

My cat had a hard circular lump on the right side of her face the size of a quarter. Unfortunately Dr.Ball did an aspiration biopsy ( I learned later that it should have been a biopsy with shaved sample from the area). The aspiration biopsy came back inconclusive $500 later...again for a hard nodule that does not move an aspiration biopsy is not the test. I was told to watch it and see if it grows. Dr. ball asked " Could it be that she hit her head? Does she run alot outdoors and bumped into something?" Well yes it grew, 7 months later I went to get a second opinion at another facility and the vet after examining my cat immediately states " I don't like this one bit ". I'm going to refer you to an oncologist. I'm not even going to waste your time or your money. Sure enough my cat had a sample biopsy and has bone cancer. It's at a stage that is inoperable. I would have thought with that much experience Dr Ball Should have referred me and recognized the potential of the situation.

5 stars is not good enough for how amazing the vets and staff are here! They have all been calming, informative, loving, and have made some scary situations much better! They love their patients and the families and go above and beyond with every patient! Thank you all for everything!

Dr Ball is patient and thorough. I have a protective puppy and he barked every time Dr Ball walked into the exam room.but Dr Ball allowed him to sniff him and
made sure he felt comfortable. That is a great Vet quality!!!

They are a good vet. A little expensive but good. Especially Dr. Diamond. He us the best out if all 3 of the Doctor's. I always set the appt with Dr. Diamond.

I can not thank Dr. Ball and Staff enough for taking care of my Fur Baby, Wrangler, after getting into an altercation with his Fur Brother! We are from out of town and needed a vet for our dog during a health emergency. We were able to obtain an appointment within 90 minutes. Everyone that we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. The medical staff was sympathetic and knowledgeable. I felt very confident with the care that my dog received. If I were a full time resident I would definitely choose this practice .

I have been using Animal Care for about 30 years now and they have always proved to go above and beyond! The doctors, administrative and veterinary staff always are very knowledgeable and accommodating - whether its a new puppy check up or assistance with end of life, they have been a loving part of keeping 6 of my dogs over the years in optimum health. I highly recommend them!

We've been using ACE to care for our pets for 20 years and have always received excellent and compassionate service. We feel like Dr. Diamond, Dr. Ball and the staff care about the owners and treat our pets with the same attention as they would treat their own.

Harry Truman, Dewey and Teak just returned home from Animal Care Extraordinaire. They were not looking forward to their annual heart worm shot, but everyone was so nice and kind to them that they calmed down and wagging tails were good all around. They always love their time with the docs and the staff at ACE! I love knowing that they are receiving excellent care.

The Doctors and staff are great, loving and caring towards your pets, and extremely clean facility. They have grooming, boarding, and ofcourse medical services. Highly recommend!

The staff was very kind and helpful when our 15 year old Border Collie and beloved family pet suddenly passed away. The staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Dr Forquet personally called us and spoke with us during this difficult time. Great practice in Stuart.

Dr Luskin is very thorough and loving. Does not rush you in and out....explains everything, and offers help and information on every issue you may have, including nutrition.
And the office staff is second to none. Friendly and accommodating. Add to that, I didn't have a long wait.

Animal care extraordinaire is Great! Especially Dr Diamond. The staff are very caring, they have office hours daily and you can usually get an appt appt very quickly. Great care and innovative treatments.

Dr. Wayne Diamond and I have known each other for almost 40 years now. When we were classmates in Vet School he was hard-working, very sharp with a sincere desire to help animals that I always admired. In the 33 years since we graduated, that has not changed. Wayne and I stay in touch, see each other at veterinary conferences from time to time and sometimes discuss difficult cases we are working on. It would be difficult to find a more dedicated and accomplished steward of your pet's health and welfare. I highly recommend Dr. Diamond to anyone seeking the best care for their pet!

Been going here for years. Love the doctors and the staff. They are kind and caring. Groomer takes good care of my mini schnauzer and she really likes to see the groomer!

They were very helpful with our problems with our puppy and I love the 7 day a week access to care. Very happy we found them!! Angus is now 2 and we are happy to take him to be cared for by the Doctors as well as to be groomed.

Awesome staff and vets, they are very friendly and you can tell they just want the best for you and your animal. No pressure to ever spend thousands of dollars on things your pet doesn't really need like at other vets I have been too. They are very fair and reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone in the treasure coast.

I had a very sick cat that needed immediate attention following a rapid onset of symptoms on a holiday. I didn't have an appointment, but the office staff took us in right away and began their preliminary assessment, calling the doctor, who had not yet arrived, for instruction for stabilization. Odds were not in my kitty's favor, but Dr. Diamond and the entire staff did a fantastic job with evaluation, stabilization and treatment. Dr. Diamond was very direct with me while being as considerate as he could be under the circumstances. My guy was stable enough for me to take home to monitor over night, and improved remarkably over the next four days. We were in the office each of those four days, and all of the staff were fabulous. Dr. Fourquet took over for the days that Dr. Diamond was not there, and I had confidence in her as well. I had a good outcome with my guy, but even if the outcome had not been as favorable, I would still review this clinic in the same way. They are competent and compassionate, and did a fabulous job keeping me informed and calm (that's 80% of the job, right?). I've had pets all of my adult life, and I've been through a lot of vets in the different places I've lived to find ones that I feel are competent and that work well with me (yes, I'm one of THOSE pet Moms). By far, Dr. Diamond is my favorite.

Very great place. Just bought a 12 week old shepherd on Sunday and had a lil concern and wanted her checked out. I called A.C.E and they told me to bring her right in. Nothing but awwws and smiling faces. Funny thing though, ive been to vets before and seems like the male docs want to do what they need to do then you dont see them anymore but all the ladies here from the time i walked in the door till i left cared for my Chloe like she was their own. I like that. Will continue here with both my dogs

I take my 11 year old shih tzu, Brutus to Dr. wood for acupuncture. He is very patient and gentle with him ( and me). We moved to PSL in july 2012 and went to 2 other places before finding Dr. Wood. We didn't like their approach to treatment, so we kept looking. Brutus has a number of things wrong with his health, but you wouldn't know it interacting with him. Dr. wood has been very helpful with recommending a holistic approach, acupuncture and herbs. He does get heartmedication, but our goal is to prolong his active life as naturally as possible. I am not a fan of steroids, rimadyl, even metacam if it is given every day. i believe that they actually shorten your pets life and the potential side effects can have dire impact on your pets quality of life. Dr. Wood takes the time to give his best advice and I can appreciate that. I would drive hours for the right vet, but luckily I don't have to:)

The staff are warm and friendly and the vets are great! I take my dogs to be groomed by Janna-she always does such a fabulous job!

Our Dr. was L. Fourquet, She was amazing with our pet. We came short notice 12/3/17 the front staff was friendly and they were able to get us in to see our Cat last minute. The office visit was wayyyyy more compared to the Banfield PET HOSPITAL. We paid $65 the first time for the Office Visit had to come back b/c in the visit the Dr discovered she had intestinal parasite, ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. And she would need to do a fecal test & ear exam to verify what type of intestinal parasite she had and to confirm if she had an ear infection she told us this was normal for rescue/shelter cats. Due to the unexpected cost of having to pay $250 we had to reschedule at a more financially convenient time. We were told we could pay for the office visit and we would need to reschedule for further treatment. 12/9/17 we were greeted by front staff very friendly, this visit we did not see the Dr. She was there I guess she was overbooked b/c she accidently came in our patient room, as she explained to us. She then greeted us and quickly left, instead the tech assisted in care. Although she...the Tech was friendly unfortunately she was not knowledgeable about our previous visit she exposed in our cats chart they made a note we were not able to afford care, she wanted us to pay again for an office visit, she was unable to administer medicine properly to our cat it was spilled everywhere, she was unable to do the fecal exam correct the first time and explained she would need to attempt again, she took the parasite sample from our cat that she saw on her fur and examined it explained it was a tapeworm and she would administer the pill and would match the price with the other medicine they were initially going to prescribe and that we would still need to give her the remaining medecine (Nemex) at home, 2 weeks worth, the RX was also spelled wrong so we had a difficult time looking up the medication online(we were not sent home with RX information about the medication like what it does and it's RX use history...etc. We did get dosage information and what the medication is used for which said on their round/hookworm...or of the prognosis/and or information such as an examination report for home care, just a bill/statement) . We were requested to f/u in 2 weeks. on 12/16/17 I called to find out how long it would take for the tapeworm to go away due to us still seeing segments. I was told we would receive a call back. We never received a call... I called again 1/6/18 b/c I saw the segments from my cat again on her fur and I was told that sometimes it takes more rounds of the medication for them to go away and that she would call me back with an RX. We went to the Banfield PET HOSPITAL in JUPITER 1/7/18. They were AMAZINGGGGGGGG 5 STARSSS. That same day later on Animal Care Extraordinaire called, she spoke to my wife and explained they in fact never did administer tapeworm medication to our cat and they were in the process of getting the RX ready. At that point I informed them we had taken our pet elsewhere for treatment and we were provided with wayyyyyyyyyy more information. So that's why I can only give them a 2 star rating even though the Dr. was great with our cat and she did successfully diagnose and treat her upper respiratory and ear infection she dropped the ball in some other areas, her Tech as well.
