I love french olive. Its the best place ever you would admire to dine inn.

Great atmosphere and service requires a special mention. Food quality and quantity double thumps up. Parking valet available. Price is to the expensive side.

I tried the breakfast and dinner ... eating place offers wonderful and special, cakes and pastries deserve the experience. The internal session is quiet and the external days are winter only. The place is located in a clerical building and parking is difficult but the restaurant offers free valet service

The 4 stars given is because the service, the venue and the food presentation is good but, the taste of the food is average and feel that the prices are a bit on the high level. The ambience is very nice and the venue is spacious, nicely decorated and you have the option to eat outside a kind of terrace. Additionally there is plenty of parking space available. For the tablet lovers the menu is shown in an iPad and the restaurant has Wi-Fi for the guests. Come once, try and then you will decide if you come back or not. Cheers

The food is good but the staff is very bad. I ve asked them to clean the table i m going to sit in and they cleaned it after 10 mins after requesting 3 times. gave us only one menu and when we asker for more it took forever.

Horrible, discriminating & rude staff behavior.

On 18-Feb, I picked up French Olive restaurant at Porto Arabia in Pearl to celebrate my younger sisters birthday.
When we called in the morning for reservations, they said it s full you may try walk-in and if tables are available we will accommodate you.

We came to restaurant at 09:35 pm.
The 3 female companion (total 6 of us) with us approached Ms. Maravi for table availability outside. Ms. Maravi told it s not allowed to seat 6 people on 1 table (due to covid restrictions), only 5 people per table outside.
We asked for a corner table inside the restaurant, to which Ms. Maravi told that area is closed due to restrictions as well and accommodate us further inside instead, fair enough (rules are rules after all & we respect the law).

We celebrated the birthday & the service plus food was very good, undoubtedly!

However, when we were leaving the restaurant at 11:45 pm, we saw a family of 10 people sitting on the corner table inside the restaurant (we ignored it), further when we stepped outside we say a family of 8 people on 1 table (6 adults & 2 children). Upon seeking explanation from Ms. Maravi, as to why the rules of covid are not met, she argued in an unpleasant, unprofessional, rude & ill manner with all of us & even called us liars .

Adding to the above, the restaurant manager (name Ibrahim) turns up (claiming he is the owner of the restaurant, which is false information as the owner is IFS group) & made the situation even worse. He was not wearing a mask (despite requesting him to wear a mask he declined our humble request).

Instead of clearing the matter and apologizing, he firmly argued with us & told us do whatever you want .

The above incident speaks volumes about poor customer service, discrimination and violating government guidelines on covid restrictions.

I know IFS group from 16 years & had pleasant experience in the past unlike this incident. I request IFS to take strict action against the relevant staff & demand apology.

One of the best restaurants I've went to. Gave us a seat to the private room without asking and the plates on the wall were for sale. Beautiful atmosphere, nice staff and wonderful desserts.

I've been hearing about this restaurant for a long time. We finally visited. The prices where unbelievable. The cheapest item on the menu was 70qr and most expensive items where around 145qr abd 210qr. I ordered the lasagne and my husband got the seafood risotto. The risotto was packed with lobster, glamour, shrimp and calamari. It's a bit pricey at 95qr but the content was top notch. The lasagne was 90qr. It was normal, not heavy. The waiters where great especially Zack. Great ambience. This place is definitely recommended but be prepared to pay.

Its all about the attitude and up leveled chilling mood. Things , ppl and food are all specially nice with attentions to details. Contemporary set up with lots of privacy in the different compartments and food portions are immensely huge and also bit heavy. Dont think french but American when it comes about food. However bit expensive as it is prices above average.

Immaculate, trendy interior. Private dining rooms. Only had coffee but buffet, brunches also available.

Very nice restaurant Decor and clean paper Eat a mix between Italian and French and sweets French eating very delicious I visited more than once We asked for a lot and delicious Delicious in the appetizers Arancheni and the salad of delicious Borata cheese and soup Mushroom Magnificence of me loves mushrooms and asked for onion soup was never delicious The salads sprinkled with sparkling lasagna and the pizza was good, thin and crispy, not very nice but good
Sweet in the restaurant that has closed rooms for booking ten people and has a fresh bakery possible to buy bread and French baguette and you see a large selection of sweets and ice cream

Good Food but Expensive & Super Slow. Staffs need to be more attentive & friendly.

I don t know how this place managed to get a 4.3 star rating. I must ve come to dine when my server and the chef were having an absolutely horrible day. Pizza was doughy, pasta had a pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl but at least I m not hungry anymore.

Nice ambience. Their french toast is delicious. They also have a lunch special.

I'm a bit confused as to why you would name an Italian restaurant 'The French Olive', but that aside there is nothing else confusing about the place. Great food at exceedingly reasonable prices.

The place is clean and tidy ... the food is delicious ... the prices are high

I love the ambiance of this quaint restaurant. Spacious yet cozy. They even have private dining rooms to accommodate your guests. The French decor is well designed with well lite lighting.
