A awesome national park that's quite a bumpy and windy ride getting up there. There's a bit of structures available to help you get to specific locations such as staircases and bridges, but some of them are deteriorating so be careful (holes). Once you get to the bottom there is a wonderful waterfall to swim in, with lockers and changing rooms available for ($1) or you can just be cheap and change with a towel or yolo it. It's rather cramp around the outskirts of the swimming area, so be mindful that it may be crowded. There's also a swing set to take photos with if you are into that kind of thing.

Phnom Kulen National Park

Phnom Kulen National Park

Approximately 1.5 hours drive to here ... and the main destination here because you want to see the waterfall (again)
after being disappointed with the Phnom Penh waterfall .. hope not disappointed with the Phnom Kulen waterfall haha ..
yeah it turns out that it's better than the waterfall in Phnom Penh .. at least here there is water haha ..

right in the car, I just asked the driver, is the trip to the waterfall far or not? (traumatized haha)
and he said not too far away .. it turns out to be true! the road is very short, then hahah ..

there are two waterfalls, above and below ...
I had to go up a few stairs at first, but I wasn't tired ... or because I came in the morning, so I was still excited haha ..
this first waterfall is like a short one ... the second waterfall must go down first ... but there are also many stairs going down, so it doesn't matter ... make nitipin for your things ...
then in all the waterfalls there are swing styles for the photos .. wadidaw haha ..

not so long in Phnom Kulen ... because indeed the location of the waterfall doesn't need to go as far as the waterfall in Phnom Penh ... and here it has to be morning (before 11 o'clock), because if it's afternoon, the road becomes one way down, no can go up again (if according to me because the road is renovated, it would be quite risky if for two cars up and down)

near here there is a very big Buddha in Thailand, the name is Wat Preah Ang Thom, but I wasn't here yesterday .. because I wanted to go somewhere else after this Phnom Kulen ..
if you do one daily in Phnom Kulen, you can explore other places in Phnom Kulen ... there are 1000 Lingas and Elephant Pond too ...

Very friendly, not necessarily lingas 1000 and lying Buddha that are too expensive for my taste, but there is a small trek though cool 1 hour or 2 with riverbeds carved and also most pleased me

We went there probably on the most busy day of the year. It was overcrowded with Cambodians. On the other hand this made it also very special as it gives you more a feeling for this country. The waterfalls are beautiful and since it had been raining there was also enough water. We had planned to go swimming but due to the crowd we reconsidered. I can recommend this trip for everyone coming to Siam Reap tired to see another temple. Smile

Phnom Kulen National Park is a National park in Cambodia. It is located in the Phnom Kulen (Khmer: ) mountain massif in Siem Reap Province. During Angkorian era the relief was known as Mahendraparvata (the mountain of Great Indra) and was the place where Jayavarman II had himself declared chakravartin (King of Kings), an act which is considered the foundation of Khmer Empire. Phnom Kulen National Park is located in Svay Leu District about 50 km from the provincial town of Siem Reap and about 25 km from Prasat Banteay Srey via Charles De Gaulle Road.

I rented a water taxi in front of the Siem Reap Somadevi spa hotel in the morning, and reached the waterfall in 1-2 hours with a magnificent view.
I think I did it right after seeing the wonderful natural beauty after a little troublesome walk in the forest.
Although it is in a rocky area, there is an area to enter the water.
There was no food sale around the waterfall, the only beverage I tried was sugarcane juice. Tropical fruits were more beautiful.
There are rocky and steep stairs that need some care for children.
You can have a nice time at the waterfall, which is a wonderful natural beauty, a very nice place for photography.
Visible in the small waterfall near this waterfall is worth a visit
It is enough to spend 1 day to see the whole region.
You can rent a motorcycle for transportation or rent a taxi.

Holy worship center for your Buddhist faithfuls. Waterfall is crowded with swimmers. If you want to swim, don't forget to bring swimsuits, or you can rent..lush tropical landscape. Very humid in July.

I visited to see natural landscapes and open forests, didnt see any, only super long dusty rocky road, very crowded at the top, small huts and some vendors, a temple for Buddha lying down on his side. Im not sure if there were more exciting spots to check and see, especially im visiting in the dry season so no waterfall, and khmer new year vacations, but for what I saw in 4 hours it's unworthy.

See the reclining Buddha; an original, fossilized footprint of Buddha; a rock riverbed in which are carved hundreds of Shiva linga; a small, crystal-clear water hole fed by an underground spring which makes the sand at the bottom look like it's boiling; and the holy waterfalls where you might catch the Buddhist monks bathing and cavorting like laypeople, and with their latest iPhones out taking pictures just like the tourists.. Bring a bathing suit....or rent one onsight...to take a dip in the waterfalls' pool.

Situated some 60km from Siam Reap, about an hour plus drive, this place is perfect spot for a day trip. Very nice waterfalls and you have a chance to take a glance of the holy River where the ancient Kings took their bath there. It is a place populated with the locals. Engage a local guide and hire a car to get there.

Beautiful waterfalls but a little crowded. Makes sure you have suitable shoes as the terrain is rocky and you'll be looking at some decent climbs on the way up. Entry fee was 20$.you can also have a swim if you are up for it. Many foodstalls on the way where you can try some local food or do some cheap native shopping

Feels like a very prayerful place. Piles of small-value money for the distribution of alms look very colorful. A large market for traditional medicine.
Particularly pleased with the waterfall with a powerful massage effect for the brave. Locals do not climb, they watch how Europeans bathe, it makes them very happy. Thousands of lingams should impress the river, but because of the abundance of garbage, impressions are blurred. I strongly advise you to try pink bananas, which are sold on the road, an unusual taste.

Kulen Mountain is a resort in Siem Reap province, about 60km drive from 30 to 40 minutes, and we have to hike up the hill for about 30 minutes because of the difficult road there. We can worship, take pictures and take photos and have a nice waterfall when we play there, we feel refreshed if we have the time. And we can go up to see the elephant pond waters and lush natural beauty no other on the Kulen Mountains on the way to Phnom Kulen, landscape photography and a nice luxury.

A wonderful slice of nature, culture, history, and religion with a surprise dose of anthropology and (for the well informed who've done their homework) high tech imaging. Meandering trails take you to waterfalls, trickling spring-feed streams, and... wonder of wonders... ancient stone linga carvings in, around, and under the water. You must do your homework to fully appreciate this gem and to know that what is visible today is the tip of the proverbial iceberg compared to what lies buried underfoot. I was lucky to be there on a school holiday and let a group of youngsters convince me to run under the waterfall with them. We laughed as barriers of age and language dissolved beneath the torrent of cool water on our backs. A special memory I'll hold dear.
