I rarely give five stars, especially to car dealerships, but Andy Shaw Ford and Greg Jamison did a fantastic job getting me into a new truck. A truck I saw on CarGurus brought me in. Most dealerships won't honor the price posted on CarGurus, they always have some reason or another. However, Andy Shaw Ford and Greg not only recognized the price, also searched for further discounts. When it was time to purchase, I came prepared to do battle for both the new truck, my trade in and the finance department. I was completely disarmed when their initial offer gave me a lower price for the truck and a higher price for my trade in then I was hoping for. All I could say was yes. Doing the paperwork was quick and easy, with only one offer of an extended warranty add on that was easy to decline. Upon receipt of the truck, I notices two scratches produced from shipping. I brought the truck back a few days later and Greg took care of the scratches and added a spray in bed liner. I would definitely recommend Andy Shaw Ford if you need a new Ford product.

My car has been serviced regularly at Andy Shaw Ford since purchasing it last year. Adam in the service department was very helpful throughout my last appointment.
They know nothing extremely slow and expensive with no new tech it's bad when a f150 oil change at Ford with tire rotation cost 100$ but for 67$ I can get oil change tire rotation fluids topped and my alignment checked in front of me while they check it in using a laser rack at paramount Kia while I shop the outlets.....I'll always take my vehicles to Kia before this dealer.....side note the auto body shop next door is 5 stars tho

Terrible response time. The salesman I dealt with told me the vehicle was in service and when I called another salesman I was informed it was sold the day prior. Note: I had been talking to this salesman daily for 4 days trying to gather information and get pictures and every time being told it's in service.

I recently found out my Colorado needed some costly repairs. The decision was made to look for another vehicle. I went to Andy Shaw and Brad Ledford greeted me first thing. Two years ago, paid $100 for an inspection and quote for repairing oil leak; after having the repairs done, oil still leaks just as badly. They claim a third gasket needs to be replaced that was not mentioned in the original quote. Had recalled airbag replaced but they didn't do the paperwork properly, so I'm still being bombarded with recall notices. All in all, no longer satisfied with their service department. Lots of apologies, half-baked repairs.
Andy Shaw Ford has handled all my automotive needs for over a decade now from service to vehicle purchases and they are the best. There are so many great people working there, especially Erica Bullock, who is always very helpful with everything. She always has a warm smile as well
I recently bought a new Focus. Greg and Brad were really helpful and helped make it a smooth process. I really liked the straight forward pricing without all the wheeling and dealing. MSRP + Incentives - Down Payment = Final Price. Hollie in finance was fantastic when it came to figuring out the incentives and which was the best route for me to take. I would definitely recommend buying a car at Andy Shaw Ford.
Bottom line:
Andy Shaw quoted $750 for a complete replacement of thermostat with housing, sensors & four hours labor. Was actually a 4" long $8.00 hose and two hours labor. If you have a lot of extra money, Andy Shaw is happy to overcharge for unnecessary repairs.
Follow-up:
I haven't received contact from the company however I did have the vehicle repaired at an AAA approved repair facility who diagnosed & repaired the problem in under an hour. The thermostat housing was undamaged, the thermostat worked fine and sensors were functional. The issue was a four-inch bypass hose under the thermostat with a hole in it.

Dropped my 06 Explorer off for coolant related issues. $100 for to look at it and identify the issue. Was a thermostat housing. Price quoted was $751.00 (before tax etc.) for parts plus 4 hours labor. This seemed high... I contacted three local places who all gave me quotes under $450 with quotes of 2-3 hours labor max. I know dealerships are traditionally more expensive, but an almost $300 difference is ridiculous.. so is the extra 1-1.5 hours they tacked on to labor. Its worth paying the $100 inspection fee just to take it elsewhere. It will still cost $200 less when its all done.

On Tuesday evening my sister-in-law was visiting from out of town and ended up with some tire damage. It was after 5:00 (because that's when all things happen) so we tried putting air in it and driving on, hoping it would at least get her home. It didn't get her a mile down the road. After putting more air in, we drove straight to Andy Shaw's service center. At first, they thought that there was no one available to fix it as service techs generally leave at 5:00, but they gave us the names of other businesses in the area and offered to fill the tire again before we left to try somewhere else. As we were walking back to the car, we were greeted by the general manager and a service manager who asked if they could look at it. Long story short, they found a service tech who, while off the clock, wasn t gone yet. Together, they spent a LOT of time trying to find and repair the leak. After taking the car back and removing the wheel completely, they were able to repair it temporarily-enough to get her home safely. I am so impressed with the service and compassion we received. They were so kind and so helpful. She was able to get safely home and, when taken to her own mechanic s shop, she was given the same diagnosis as we were given at Andy Shaw. The service team at Andy Shaw Ford went out of their way to help us and to make sure that it was safe for us to be on the road. I really appreciate that kind of care and service and would recommend this business to everyone I know. Thank you, guys!

We recently purchased a 2015 Ford Transit Cargo Van At Andy Shaw Ford, and we are so thrilled with the great deal that we got and the van itself. This is the only place that I know of that is full service so you kinda have to go there if u don't wanna travel an hour to another place. I was having car issues and had them service my car they said oh yea this is the problem and we will fix it $500 later car still had same problems and I had to get rid of it because when I went to 2 different places p in Asheville to see what was wrong with it they said it would cost me well over 4k to fix which at that point was pointless to fix since the car wasn't worth that much. I felt ripped off by this place just the simple fact that I'm a woman. I specifically asked them that if this was the only problem that I would fix it but if it had other issues that was gonna be a waste of time and not worth it I rather just get rid of it and get a new car. They said that that was the only thing that was wrong with it so 500 went to fix the problem only to be screwed over yet again by a dealership. I would NOT recommend this to anybody. They will never get a dime off of me again that's for sure. I got a new car elsewhere.
