After 12 years from discharge I had some questions regarding an old lean that was on my old house that may have been placed on my new home. Called Mr. Andrews and he was quick in his response to help out in any way possible. He answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of. He treated my case as if it was one that he was currently working on. Mr. Andrews and his firm are the best at what they do and once a client always a client. I didn't have a good experience with Andrews law firm. They failed to inform me of 3 very important facts when providing chapter 13 bankruptcy services, I'll share one of them. I used a group to help with foreclosure prevention, as a safety net I paid with a credit card. This way if they were not legitimate I could use the credit card's anti- fraud department to recoup the $4000.00 plus cost. I informed the firm's rep of my situation, they did not inform me that once the bankruptcy was filed, I couldn't report the fraud committed to the credit card company. In hindsight I should've filed a claim against the foreclosure prevention company with the credit card, before the firm filed my chapter 13. They had a nonchalant attitude about that $4000.00 cost being added to my unsecured debt. If you're seeking help with a bankruptcy, look around, they are pricey, but I guess they are because of their Oldtown Alexandria high rent district, not because of the high quality of work they perform.
Very unprofessional. I called for help on a case in which I need a lawyer. I told them not to call during a certain time. They called during that time anyway. They called me again the following day. The lawyer I spoke to was extremely rude. I tried to explain my case. He said he doesn't handle that case and hung up on me before I could respond. I recommend avoiding them. They're not worth it.
It was a very positive experience at a time when I needed it the most their whole staff was second to none. There knowledge about the best way to move forward literally changed my life for the better.

Tommy Andrews and Nikki Singh skillfully handled my Chapter 7 filing. I did not have all of my documentation ready and there was some information I could not find. They took care of looking over everything for me. Trying to find delinquent accounts that have been moved through multiple collection agencies can feel overwhelming. Totally confused. After second meeting with Mr. A. I paid for credit checks and then a down payment for court costs and his fee. I was told to gather financial statements and oh, I could not file Chap.7 or I would lose my house. So , I was sent to his Chap.13 expert. She was a nice lady but had a soft voice and foreign accent. This is where all the bad news began. I would have to pay all my bills over 5 years but the interest rate would be 2%. The new lawyer fee was additional $3,000 plus. Any new lump sum from retirement will have to be paid to the Court. This is not what I was expecting. I need to do repairs and I will make a lot less in retirement. What is the sense?

I can't begin to express how grateful I am with the support that Andrews Law Firm provided to me and my family. We got ourself into a financial bind when I choose to go to another job that was $40k less to allow me to spend time with our children. My husband's contract was then cut $35k 2 months later. Bad attitude with bad customer service. I had an appointment with an immigration lawyer. When I got there, there was a divorce and bankruptcy lawyer and asked me if I want to speak with an immigration lawyer thru the phone. What was the point of the appointment? Plus no one said sorry. I have just wasted my time and one day from work.

I completed a bankruptcy chapter 13 with this firm, however paperwork that i need completed/filed with the court and with mortgage companies has not been filed. I have contacted Tetiana and the paralegals a minimum of 10-15 times (calls/emails) and absolutely nothing has been done. Its like they got paid and they are done, however for me my 60 months has turned into 70+ months because i can't get the finishing touches from them. I'd do it myself IF I COULD but I'm not authorized. If someone from the firm sees this, can you please check your email so I/we can move on. I did my part!
