Having been coming here for over 30 years. Awesome food and the pastries are out of this world. Highly recommend!

Delicious chocolates and pastries. We've had lunch there several times. Make reservations if you go on the weekends or during the lunch rush. Portions are perfect for me and everything has been tasty. I highly recommend the carrot salad and the ground beef pastry. Delicious! I recommend the chocolate bon bon, or at least I think that's what it is called. Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse,covered in a ganache and even has a little chocolate square on top. We are also hooked on the round almond cookies.

We stopped to pick up some special desserts for a birthday. We received fabulous service and were so pleased we chose Andre's.

The gentleman at the counter was so kind and took time to explain each of the confections. He even suggested an amazing cake that was perfect for the birthday.

We loved the chocolate mousse cake, the individual chocolate mousse covered in ganache, croissants, and lemon tart.

The most heavenly was a mocha dessert with almond flavor. It had a heavenly mousse layer and marzipan topping. I don't even like marzipan, but we all agreed this dessert was heaven.

We want to come back to try the restaurant. The quiches and savory stuffed breakfast croissants looked amazing.

I'm going to have to give very few starts at this time just to share my experience. First of all the food was excellent as always. I've eaten at Andres for 40 years both locations. Yesterday I would have called close to fiasco. We took a new person and they love the food but the service was absolutely pathetic. I know this is a hard time coming out of covid and I'm guessing that was it our actual weight person was wonderful but there seem to be a lot of people milling around that could have gotten water coffee rolls just walking around. I don't like the way we got seated where you had to sit on a bench for a few minutes when the tables were open. I think roles should be set and maybe even glasses of water then you could pass the time at least talking and munching instead of waiting for someone to show up at your table. I seriously think it took us 15 minutes to get water. There's no excuse for that. There were extra people they might not have been waitstaff but it seemed like maybe someone was a busboy and maybe someone was some kind of greeter person that just kept walking around in the back they were not from the dessert counter. love the food always have always will it's my number one request of places to go but I don't live close I'm in the Blue Springs Independence area so I don't get there as often as I like. I hope they hire some help.l

If I had one last restaurant meal in my life....this would be my place! I ve loved this restaurant for years. The service is top notch. The food is incredible. Best of all is the dessert tray (although it s absent during Covid). I can t wait until my next visit!

This is the place to go in Kansas City. They are known for their classic European pastries, cakes, cookies, and treats. The offerings change with the seasons. Walk in and order a whole cake or order ahead. They also have lots of individual desserts.

But you will also find a simple European breakfast and lunch sit down restaurant in the back. The food is fresh, the menu changes daily, and the service is wonderful. Prices are very reasonable. You must try a pastry or dessert with your meal!

I'm not really sure what I ordered but they were both extremely delicious. A chocolate covered chocolate mousse with chocolate cake base, I called it Chocolate Ganache Galaxy. A lemon creme filled mini pie with lemon sugar crust, I called Lemon Sugar Dollop. The staff is so friendly and helpful in explaining each of their items too! This would be a cute place to order a bunch of desserts to split with friends.

This is one of those 6 out of 5 places. Lunch here has always been a fabulous date for me and my wife. Everything is delicious and I even end up eating things I normally would not - it's just that good, you don't want to miss out. Been going here for probably 20 years now.

The desserts, they are the best. Do yourself a favor and ask if they have any glacier... It is a frozen dessert so they don't bring it around.

The recent addition has been very nice too. We haven't utilized it as much as we would like but looking forward to getting out there in the near future.

The portions were very hearty. Delicious quiche. I love there beets. Good coffee too. I also had soup. French onion I think. Very good.
