everything is good but public swimming pool is not big enough

A beautiful resort with fantastic facilities and services.

Staff are always very friendly and the fact you have to take a boat to get here makes it feel like it isn't in Qatar at all.

Conveniently located a short ferry ride from Doha yet feels distant enough to be consider a vacation spot out of the city. Went for a brief "staycation" and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our suite was luxurious and comfortable. Beach was beautiful and quiet and the staff were friendly and hospitable at every opportunity. Only real gripe is that several of the amenities were closed (due to COVID/maintenence etc). A bit on the pricier side too but I would go back if I could ever afford it.

It's an absolutely beautiful place. Perfect for anniversaries and a short getaway. It's so green and the beach is pristine. The view from the deluxe room is gorgeous and the room itself is pure luxury. The resort has a cinema, gym, spa and pool for people as well. The staff makes you feel so welcome. It's a good place for families as well

Good day out, not really a cheap day out but it's nice to do it every so often with the family. It's best to leave early and catch the first boat at 8am to.make the most of the day. Ate at Riva this time and it was very good pizza and very attentive staff. The bar man on the beach bar was wonderful and very attentive to our 2 year old.

Absolutely amazing. Accommodation stunning. Staff very friendly. Nothing to complain about. Boat trip to and From the island is very professional and friendly. Well worth a visit.

5 star resort in Doha. Will have to take a boat to reach there. Options like day use and overnight stay available.

Overrated as anything. We went for a day trip.

Reception is the same size as the boat terminal, once you reach banana island.

Me and my family were taken straight from the boat to the pool and beach area, by making us walk in the heat for 10min along the Sandy path. No reception for us.

The kids pool is small with some 3 slides on one end and a pirate ship on the other end. That is the so called Aqua park.

The adult pool is another 10 to 15 min walk or a 5 min buggy ride. So if you have young children you can't keep an eye on the older ones. So me and my wife had to split up.

The beach is the same as Katara.. no difference. No waves either. All activities are same on the beach as Katara too. Couple of things for loaded people like surfing for 1hour for 300qr.. but apart from that not anything different.

Food at AlAzraq restaurant was good but nothing exceptional.

We really enjoyed day tour . Good service . Food is fantastic

Amazing resort for families or just couples on their honeymoon. If you're looking for a true getaway that's not too far from the city. Top notch facilities on this cosy island. Superb landscaping perfect for long walks whether to relax or for fitness. The place is full of activities that you can't get bored, for kids and adults. Very friendly staff and well kept facilities. Good variety of restaurants too.

Islands with good quantity I recommend choosing the right atmosphere to visit

The entire experience was amazing! The beach, the pool area, the foo, and the staff were all fantastic! I highly recommend coming to Banana Island!

The staff was very understanding & supportive, always ready to help. Moreover, they accommodated us in guest room before & after the checkout. Comfortable rooms with all facilities. Great service of boats available to travel to/from the city. Location was beautiful. The only thing which needs to be improved is the rates of activities/services offered, they had varieties of restaurants there but as mentioned was too costly.

Didn't quite live up to expectation. The breakfast is subpar. Was expecting Kempinski style breakfast/brunch and got Movenpick.
View was blocked by a moving ship. Not as many activities as I anticipated.
Staff us very friendly and helpful, place is very clean. Bed is medium soft, pillow too bed. Quite comfy.

Its an artificial island constructed by Qatar. Its an awsome place to visit.

Unreasonably overpriced, they think like there is no other place on Earth as the man-made Banana Island. That is not true. Prices are horrible. The place is quiet nice but you have to spend a lot of money to be able to enjoy it, it just pisses the person off. You can travel to a tropical country instead of staying here for a week.

Very nice place. Only that I went in April and the water was very cold for my liking. Too bad many activities are paid cone kayaks. The best was the breakfast ...... super complete. I liked the place but I would have liked some music or fun. Overall good.

The island was great from out. We just had buffet lunch but the ambiance and food was not that great.

Amazing beach & pool resort, clean and not crowded! They provide large beach towels, plenty of shower and changing rooms, nice restaurants, and awesome boat transfers.
Definitely worth coming back!

Best place for any event. The Restaurant charges are value for money.

I was not inside the resort. I was in the surrounding area. What was clear was how tidy the whole area was. The people in the area were friendly and helpful

It was Occam but want to know can I visit with my friends

The first tour experience with our baby happened to be here and I would definitely recommend for any one who wants to experience fresh peaceful time with family. The food and stay both were noor fantastic. Will plan for a visit soon.

The facilities nd the quality are really amazing, all the staff are super cool nd professional, together we had an amazing stay..

The staff are so friendly and hospitable. I will come back and tell this place to my great friends. :) Weather is lovely even during summer.

Love love love this place! The restaurant was superb and the food was delicious. Looking forward to going again next time I visit Qatar.
