Anantara Doha Island Resort and Spa Reviews

I booked 5 nights from 23th to 28th of June 2017, the first 2 nights in 2 bedroom pool villa which was amazing and the remaining 3 nights in premiere sea view rooms which were also excellent.

overall the resort is fantastic with wide varieties of facilities and activities and above all fantastic staff.

cons:
1- although it's the best kids and teen's clubs I ever saw, but kids not allowed to enter kids club alone, parents must escort them!! which make it loses its purpose of keeping kids busy while adults can enjoy alone unless you have nanny to go with them.
2- the resort need a big pool instead of the lagoon which no body uses, Q lounge pool is not enough.

10- My butlers (Ali & Shafi) made my stay really amazing they were very polite, punctual, helpful, organizing and arranging everything for me, i didn't have to worry about anything, just tell them what i want and they will manage it.

Our trip today to Banana Island, we received it from the reception desk, and then the hospitality was sweet, then we fed us in the buffet of the Blue Restaurant, wonderful and varied. I advise you to visit the place where you can hear and do not circumambulate the lighting scene with a fantasy night

One of the best place in Doha ... The ambience is superb with beautiful beach alongside ... The buffet was not that bad too ... Great place to visit

This place is so overhyped. I think it's a really beautiful place, but It dosen't worth the hype nor the money.

Can't rate this place highly enough. Even one night here is just the remedy from burnout at work/studies etc. The restaurants are great as are the views from them.

Awesome place to spend, though it was just for an Iftar. Very good getaway for weekend. Apart from all, very accommodating people providing great hospitality.

It was a wonderful sty, although the rate of the chalet is high, but the atmosphere, the services and the food are all excellent.

The experience was great and staff service was superb.

Went on Day pass on thursday 18, 2019. That was my 2nd trip and like previous visit this was also awesome. However it is noted that if a family opt to get a room for night stay and that family comprises of two adults with two kids then it is required to get extra room for these two kids. It is impossible kids can be left alone in extra room. The extra room will be useless. This also shows the management dont support family vists. I found only this policy illogical. As alternate plan, family can pay some extra charges (like QAR 100 - 200 per extra kid) to stay in similar room along with kids. Many families hasitant to go for night stay due to current policy. I also cannot opt for night stay in banana island.

Rest every thing during day pass was awesome n wonderful. Beach staff was caring, food was awesome, excellent boat trip with nice staff, customer handling was fantastic. I wish my best for Azraq as the food, staff, policy n customer handling was amazing.

For night stay I believe management will consider customer concern as I believe they are very professional and adaptable to customer needs.

A perfect getaway. A 5 star resort.first of its kind in doha.well trained n polite staff. hospitality personified.

Amazing place with great scenic beauty. Nice to chill out your weekend. Enjoy the beach, swimming pool, tennis court, bowling, golf. There are private water Villas too.

We had a wonderful experience at banana island! The staff were very friendly and hospitality was great. We are hoping to visit this amazing island again :)

Banana Island is one of the finest resorts in Qatar. A very special service from the beginning of arrival is welcomed and applause with enthusiasm and views that make you feel a trip outside Qatar. You can spend time relaxing and renewing starch and doing lots of activities.

Junior Suite was superb, especially the bathroom, children's pool was much fun, Al Naham restaurant was amazing with probably the best ocean balcony in Qatar...the beach is definitely not for swimming, overall service was quite poor as it downgrades a lot after front desk!

One of the fun places is beautiful for walking and enjoying the view on the sea and the cottages and free cinema experience. All the employees are distinguished in terms of service, smile and welcome. I took only one night with a room overlooking the sea

Awesome place with very excellent staff and very good ambience

They changed a lot this season they are trying to kick you out before 12 pm even if you did not check out, and employees will not even listen to you, a total different face than the one you see when you check in, it is absolutely not five stars behavior, shame!

2020 starting make me great start from the Banana island by Anantra .its great Hospitality service ..
