We always book our stay here! Amazing service all the way around. The staff is awesome from the front desk to pool service even their housekeeping. We left something behind and didn t notice until hours later thinking it was already lost but nope they had it stored for us!

Bed Bugs!! This is one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed in. The floors were sticky, the areas outside the room had paper wrappers and other items strewn around and the worst part is my room had bed bugs and they aren't willing to resolve the issue. After the third night I woke up with multiple bites and called the front desk to say I was checking out to find another hotel to stay in. They offered to not charge me the early checkout fee. I had to reserve a another hotel in the area at the last minute at twice the cost, move out while getting ready for my morning meetings and when I returned home pay for a doctors visit, dry cleaning costs, and bug removeal from my luggage. I've made numerous calls to the manager with no return calls. Had to finally lodge a complaint with AMEX. One of my coworkers had to move from his room the first night as his room flooded from water next door to his room. Not a recommended hotel to stay in in Annaheim as there are so many other good options.

Although I found the cost a little pricey compared to what I usually pay for hotels( my H S reunion was here so I stayed here) I cannot say enough good things about their customer service. From having to change rooms because of a faulty a/c to leaving my beach towel behind in the 1st room & getting it returned to me (& 1 or 2 other minor things that required me to interact with staff), everything was handled quickly, professionally, & with a friendly helpful attitude by everyone. I wish all businesses would train their staff in customer service like this place does. If the price is in your budget I would recommend you stay here just for the staff.

Location can't be better. Less than 2 blocks from the main entrance to Disneyland. Easy walk there. There is a restaurant attached, beds are nice, nicer toiletries than most hotels around. The HVAC is ridiculously loud, and the thermostat is pretty dated, hard to get a good temperature. Our room was larger than most other hotels in the area. They charge $15/night extra for parking, and another $5/night for a resort fee, so expect an extra $20/night over the price you are quoted.

Awesome location. It is a little over a block away from the park entrance. Pizza Press which is located on the 1st floor of the building is also open late (as late as 1AM) which is perfect for a late night snack when the park closes at midnight. Took away one star since it took almost an hour for someone to deliver a microwave and for someone to look at our toilet (was not draining properly). Also one of the days our room was not cleaned by 3PM so we skipped the cleaning since we were taking a break from the park.

This is a very nice hotel! As with all places, there are going to be a few employees that were somewhat rude but the majority of them were very friendly. My only complaint is that there is no continental breakfast. They do offer a few breakfast items at their restaurant but you can tell not many people eat there for breakfast. They didn't even start setting up until 10 minutes before they were open. We ordered muffins and they were out of one of the two options. It also took 30 minutes to get our order. For just pre-made muffins, that's ridiculous. Although it is a nice hotel, we will probably stay at a place that offers breakfast. The rooms are nice and quite if that is more important to you.

Had no control over the temperature in the shower, told staff and nothing fixed. 2 days showering with either ice cold water or scolding hot water. Never again will I stay there!!!!!! Worst place ever

So much potential but very little delivered. The big payout that cannot be denied is the proximity to Disneyland and the affordability.
However, do not be be mistaken or anticipate the hotel proclaimed 4 star rating. This is probably from accolades 4 decades ago

It's close to Disneyland, that's about all I can say. My room was taken right out of a 90s horror-thriller movie, including cracked white tiles in the bathroom. There was also an obnoxiously loud air conditioning unit right outside that sounded like it was trying to lift of throughout the night. Not worth the price, there are definitely better hotels around.

Was okay before but they recently renovated everything. Prices went up about 20% used to be the plaza. They have a new restaurant that's open late...the pizza press, which is really good. You can't beat the price and the walk to Disneyland is about 7mins which is great.

After the lobby, everything is gross. Hard beds, no housekeeping (14 day stay), cigarette butts everywhere but no ash trays in sight, green water in the pool, the tap water is foul, carpet is sticky, drug users stumbling about .....the best part of staying, is leaving.

Location of the hotel is great. It has remodeled the front lobby, has a bar and a better restaurant and feels cleaner than the first time we went there. Although the rooms are still outdated with limited power outlets and showers are difficult with water pressure being non-existent. Beds were improved and comfortable. Seriously tried to stay somewhere else but the price is hard to pass up.

It was horrible! The staff was rude and inconsiderate. The rooms were small and run down. The water went from scalding hot to ice cold there really was know in between. The housekeeper left my door wide open all day after cleaning it and when we told the front desk they just shrugged It off and told me to put valuables in the room safe next time!!! The only positive thing about this place was the wings from the bar and the beds. But for that price it s just not worth it. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

It's close to Disneyland. That's all it's got going for it. Otherwise, stay away. There was black mold in our rooms ventilation system. I had horrible allergies all night and for our days at Disneyland. I felt sick all day. Do not recommend.

we've stayed here numerous times because of it's proximity. the rooms are large enough, and they have always accommodated our requests for family suites. it is clean. yes, it is dated, and dark which made us opt for the neighboring castle hotel place one time, but we quickly realized the error in our ways and went back for our next visits. You could get nicer rooms for the same price further down the road, but for the option of going back to the hotel in the middle of the day for my cranky 2 year old's nap without having to deal with the tram/bus rush, it will do.

All you need is right here. Big pool, friendly staff and easy walk to theme parks (not any more walking than if I'd parked at the Disney garage). I was especially impressed with their shop. There are tons of choice souvenirs at better prices than in the theme parks...plus California themed ones.

Hotel was disgusting. No hot water in the bathroom and no plugins near the bed for a cellphone. The magnetic cards only worked one in every 10 tries to open the door to the room. Would never stay here again and recommend spending a little more or at least going with a more reputable name.

Came here one night to grab some cocktails. One of the best places around town for cocktails. I did not book a room here but from the views I can tell that this would be a great place to stay a night or two.

We had a pleasant stay at the Anaheim Hotel. The rooms were decently appointed, though the room AC was a bit loud and the water pressure and temperature fluctuated a bit. The bar and lounge area was great, and it was convenient to pay for an extra day of parking to leave our car while we visited Disneyland. Because our room was at the back of the lot, a pedestrian access gate to leave the property nearer the back property boundary would have been nice.

I can never think of such an awful hotel

I can never think of such an awful hotel

1. tub wouldn't drain
2. hot water sometimes unavailable
3. wifi was down for an evening
4. no microwave and refrigerator
5. access card had to be changed twice
6. couldn't find a trash can in the bed room
7. of course NO Breakfast
8. old, loose lamps

The new rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The staff was wonderful, and the pool is very good but could use some updating. The good rooms are expensive but worth it considering the place is right across the street from the entrance to Disneyland.

I stayed there in October 2018. The room was fine, but I accidentally left my expensive sunglasses in the room. The staff were very unhelpful and the sunglasses were never returned. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Untrustworthy cleaning staff.

The reason to stay at the Anaheim is its proximity to Disneyland. The rooms were nothing too special but they were clean and spacious enough. Stayed in a double bed standard room on the second floor. Each room had a back patio or yard which was nice. There was a large pool which was fun. The reception personnel were friendly and pleasant. A military discount was offered. Room had a fridge. The biggest draw back was not having a continental breakfast but the pizza place attached had food and there is an IHOP and McDonalds a 2 min drive away. I personally don't care about bells and whistles when going to Disney as we are beat after our time at the park and just want a bed to crash on. The Anaheim was everything I was looking for and at a very competitive price. Plus: Low cost, close to Disneyland, cheap parking. Minus: No breakfast, basic.

MAIDS ARE THEIVES! ROOM DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY! The maid stole souvenirs from our room and then used our car keys to empty out our car. $600 in items stolen. The front desk manager stated they have no security cameras and that the maid was the only person who was in our room. She stated the maid was "too nice to steal and does not know how to use car keys to unlock a car". Ummm right. She stated it "must have been a professional". She stated she would not help us in any way so we have filed a report with Anaheim Police Department. Aside from this our room was so dirty and disgusting. Hair from a previous person was all over the bathroom counter which was STILL there when we left, the coffee maker and ice bucket were covered in filth, cobwebs all over ceiling, carpet and tiles were filthy, cabinets on entertainment center were broken and falling off, tv did not work, plus the whole property looked like it was stuck in the 70's and NEVER cleaned. We will NEVER return here and NEVER recommend to anyone. To top it off the staff was rude.

I absolutely LOVED how close it is to the disneyland entrance! Took 7 min to walk to Disney with my 5 year old and grandmother in tow :). The hotel itself was very nice and updated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only issue was with one of the beds. One side of the mattress was slanted and seemed like the springs gave out on one side only haha. But it was manageable. Would go back again.

For an older hotel it's been maintained very well. Less than 10 minute walk to the front Gates of Disney and the Pizza Press Restaurant attached to the lobby has great, made to order, pizzas. We will def stay here again!

This place was pretty good and affordable to stay at. We probably would stay there again especially because of the Pizza Press restaurant. The size was good and it had a fridge which helps. The pros for me were the restaurant and the proximity to Disneyland. The cons were: 1. The shower was complicated, you had to be surgical in turning the knob between cold and hot, seriously, 1 millimeter one way or the other meant the water was freezing or you were soup, 2. No microwave (it really would have helped), 3. The room had a safe, but it didn't work.

The hotel rooms are decent enough to stay in. Good distance from Disney land, but the vending machines don t work, they re absolute @&$# they either take your money or don t accept the cash you try to put in. So buy drinks before you come in here.
