What made me want to write this review even more was yesterday Levon Sherfield was sent to my house for a service call. I wanted to take the time to post a note of gratitude for the astonishing service performed by Levon. His attitude and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty requirements to make sure that I was pleased was outstanding! It is representatives such as Levon that will give Ameritech a great name and lead to highly reputable new and repeat customer leads and satisfaction rates. Keep up the great work!

Best composite frame/triple pane windows on the market!

I met Timmy Gayle, senior project manager aka salesman in January. After his thorough presentation we decided to purchase 40 windows. Everything he said about the product was true. After the installation we immediately, saw outside noise reduction. The house is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. We had anticipated dust and having to clean up after the installers but no, that was not the case. The installers were outstanding. They were professional in every since of the way, They wore coverings on their shoes, put down drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves and removed all debris. There was no dust or evidence of them being there except now we have beautiful windows. Our house looks brand new and we continue to get compliments from our neighbors.

Presenter was professional and informative. Work satisfactorily. The door selections were limited in my price range.

I have had Ameritech add a deck to my house and replace windows and doors and upgraded the insulation. Now I am having them replace the siding for the entire house. Timmy has helped me on multiple projects.

Eddie was great to talk to. He was very knowledgeable about the products and very patient with me asking questions. I was very impressed with seeing the actual products and the demonstration was awesome. I am seriously considering taking him up on the offer but me being me, I absolutely must crunch some numbers first. . Overall, Eddie is a great salesman and very good at what he does.

This is a great company for windows. The sales force is excellent, professional and extremely helpful. The price was very good and the quality of the windows are outstanding.

We hired Ameritech to replace our front door 9 years ago and it looks amazing! The paint looks the same as it did the first day it was hung! We have been comfortable since the day it was installed- #wind whipping no longer!
The customer service is great- we ve called with some storm damage and they were incredibly responsive!

Had the first portion of my windows done with Ameritech. The windows are quality. Everyone from the salesperson to the installers were very professional and friendly. It has been a couple years and have had no issues with the windows. I referred my parents and they had their house done as well and are very happy with the work.

I was very pleased with my initial estimate visit. The Representative was very professional and personable . I have had several estimates from various companies, including Lowes and Home Dept. I made the decision to have Ameritech to install a new front door and replace my gutters and wrap exterior wood trimming because I was impressed and satisfied with the quality of their products offered, the warranty offered and the overall company coverage of their workers, workmanship and overall work.

It s been three years and I m still happy with the products I purchased from Ameritech. I am currently excited about my newest home improvement investment and look forward to doing future projects. Ameritech Construction has served me well!!!

The day before Christmas I called to get an estimate on windows not expecting to have someone come out so soon. We had someone come out today and couldn t have asked for a better person! Mike Best was very personable and made us feel really comfortable with the decision we were making about our home! He didn t pressure us or make us feel like we we making a rash decision. He was great!

We replaced all our windows in our home. Ameritech was amazing in helping educate us on our options as well as offering a competitive price! Our windows arrived in their warehouse Wednesday, received a call that they could start as soon as Thursday. They completed our job in 2 days! Work crews were professional, personable & courteous. We would use Ameritech Construction again for any of our home project needs!

*Edited Review* The windows and doors installed are of good quality, installed in a timely manner and I think reasonably priced job for the amount of work I had done 4 years ago. I have decided to rewrite my review and give 4 stars based on their work. Not sure I will use them again based on conversations with sales people but I will not fault the overall company's reputation based on an issue I have with their type of sales policy. There are other companies out there. This is a local company and I do appreciate the personal phone call I received from a manager after voicing my complaint.

Ameritech put in my triple paned windows 15 years ago. We absolutely loved them and have saved us tons of money on our heating bills and they still look awesome! A few years later, they wrapped all of our trim on the outside and would definitely recommend Ameritech for that also. We are now contracting with them to do our vinyl siding. They are also rebuilding the front porch by replacing all railing in vinyl.

Ameritech replaced the roof on my garage. Timmy walked me through the whole process and provided useful information. On the day of the installation, the crew was timely, professional, and clean. Everything was as expected. I would use Ameritech again and recommend to a friend.

Ameritech installed insulation in our attic 5 years ago and we have been very happy with the performance of the insulation. Their customer service is wonderful! We recently asked for quotes for our doors and Hugh accommodated all of our requests to meet outside with face masks, even though it was still raining, due to the pandemic. We look forward to working with Ameritech again soon!

We had a deck built. They took their time to explain their products and pricing plans. Most important is the quality of the work.The workers were polite. They respected our property with good clean-up after the job. No leftover nails! My husband and I have no complaints.This is a company you can use with confidence. They stand behind their work.

Ameritech installed windows for us approximately 10 years ago and we are still happy on the service we received and the quality of the product.

Thomas M provided us straight forward information and answer all our questions concerning purchase of the doors. He was up front with all the details on our purchase. He made sure that all the paper work and finance paperwork was correct and finalized. It was a pleasure working with him and Ameritech.

The best experience I ve ever had working with a company. I loved the workmanship of the product. I had a front Entry door put in from Ameritech and it s been wonderful. The door is beautiful and functions with no issues. It s been 2-3 years and it seals just as tight as the first day it was put in, its so secure, and has this amazing magnetic seal that never quits. Keeps the door AIR TIGHT!!! We love the door. Ameritech was easy to work with from the start to the end. We recently were thinking about possibly just looking at he condition of our roof and Ameritech sent out their Sr. Project Manager, Ibrahim Ahmed, who did a thorough assessment of our roof and we discovered we had missing shingles and the roof was showing signs of weakness and fatigue. Ibrahim gave us a crash course on roofIng Do s and Dont s. After learning so much about the different types and all the options available, we decided to once again Hire Ameritech based on our consultation with Ibrahim and the condition of our current roof. Ibrahim really made us feel comfortable with the whole process and We re looking forward to getting it done with the Ameritech lifetime roofing system. Their customer service is also great.

I had gutters and gutter protection installed with Ameritech a few years back. I have been very pleased with the outcome and performance of the product PERIOD!!

Ameritech did my front entry system and my patio door. They did an amazing job!!! I am now having them do my siding and trim work. I'm certain it will be the same quality of work.

My parents had double French doors installed 15 years ago.... so pleased they are now working on the roof.

Sales call was very professional. when they came to install the windows they were professional as well, clean and did great work. We would absolutly use them again in the future!

It centered predominenately around roofing replacement but he was also helpful in answering a couple of questions about windows and gutters. The door color and hardware was beautifully done excellent workmanship. The door added value to are home. The installers were very respectable, answered any questions and cleaned up after the job was done .

Tried to get a quote for insulating my attic and was told both homeowners needed be home for the 60-90 appointment. I said we could have one of us here for that block of time but that was not good enough. Not sure about the high marks when even getting an estimate was a customer service failure.

Ameritech installed my windows years and years ago and every single window still looks great with no air leakage. Extremely happy with the product as well as the professionalosm of the project manager who gave me an estimate on the rest of the windows in the home this evening.

The project managers from Ameritech Construction came to give me an estimate on replacing all the windows on my 1960 split foyer house. They were very professional and explained why they are a superior company sell a superior product. I would recommend you talk to then before buying replacement windows.

I am enjoying my windows that was put in about 2 yrs. a. I am able to let them up to clean and get fresh air. My original windows when I bought the house was sealed tight and dry rotted. Now I m looking into getting my doors replaced for security and sealed tight from cold and hot air.

The triple pane composite starmark windows from Ameritech are nothing less than Amazing. The heat seal glass really works! My house is a lot more comfortable, and my bills have gone down. I just purchased insulation from Ameritech with rep John McCoy. He was a very nice respectful young man, and gave me and my wife an excellent presentation. I m sure the insulation will match the quality of the windows. Great Company !!!

For those that might be interested. I just like to say that our satisfaction with Ameritech. Construction and the windows that we purchased from them has been outstanding. We enjoy the windows think they're very good product installation work very well for us and we had one service issue that was taken care of very promptly. I am a very pleased customer.

I had a very good experience with the Ameritech rep. He came on time, was very courteous, answered all my questions, made good recommendations. He worked with my budget and found good financing for me. THe process was fast and efficient, and from previous experience the products are excellent and come with a great warranty.

I used Ameritech previously for my gutters . They have helped tremendously. Now I'm purchasing a roof and I wouldn't want to buy from anyone else. They offer great financing which makes this project affordable. Aaron has been a great help .

We had 25 Double hung windows replaced in October and I was really pleased with the way the windows kept the house so much warmer this winter, which was a cold one. Now we're having the company back to give us an estimate on four doors and 10 Casement windows. After getting the double hung windows done we could really feel the drafts that the doors were allowing in. They did a great job. The product is not cheap but I've been very pleased with the performance of the windows

Using Ameritech for the second time. They installed windows last year and I just signed up to have them replace my trim and gutters. These guys do great work.

Ameritech did insulated vinyl siding for us in 2013. We were very happy with the work and they cleaned up everything...we are now having them replace 9 windows with triple pane glass. We are very excited about the demonstration on how efficient the glass and reinforced frame is and love the warranty that comes with this great deal..Thank you Ameritech. The same representative Timmy came back to help us with the consult on the new windows and did a fantastic demonstration....

The project manager, Keith, gave a really great demo on Ameritech's attic insulation products and process. I am looking forward to this project beginning and to my lower energy bills.

I had Ameritech put my doors at my house. I'm very happy workin w/ them. I am now having them to install a perfectly insulated attic system. Timmy was very helpful in explaining how the insulation works.

I sat through a lot of window presentations before deciding to purchase these windows. All the other folks were pitching a vinyl frame and furry window seals etc. Sr. Project Manager, Ibrahim Ahmed was the first to show us something different, yeah composite!! NO it wasn't the least expensive window we were shown but I believe in the long run it will be the best window we could have purchased. We had our windows replaced about a year ago and have been incredibly impressed with the quality of the windows and the professionalism of everyone that we dealt with throughout the process. When we had small issues after install they came out and resolved quickly.

Mike Best has been great giving us the overview of E-Shield and we look forward to using it in our attic in the future. We used Ameritech to replace our windows several years ago and then our front door and front shutters last year and are very pleased with the service, installation, and end product.

We got our windows, doors, trim, and gutters done in 2007-08 timeframe, and we love everything. Ameritech was courteous and efficient, and came back to fix some subsequent gutter issues after some major rainstorms. I recommend the for this type of work.

Triple pane glass and most of all the Solid composite with the woodgrain look on the inside.

These guys did my siding a year and a half ago. It is a different house! New house at the same address. They are now doing 2 entry doors for me. I'm certain they will do a great job again. Timmy was patient and very knowledgable.

This is a wonderful company. I would recommend Ameritech to my friends and family. I had the pleasure having Desmond do a presentation for me and it blew me away. He was really informative and educated about the products. Very personable guy and have a great sense of humor. The prices. are a little high but, its worth it. Like the old saying go you get what you pay for .

Overcharged for a sliding door and a window in 2013. We complained about both the door and window after installation. We were left with no windowsill and my sliding door opening was about 3 inches less than the original door. We were told that we had a ten year warranty on parts so when the rollers on the door needed replaced we called the company. They came out, did the job and then charged us over $250 for a service fee that we had not been aware of or prepared to pay! The installer also left grease all over the glass door. When we questioned the charge we were told that we had been advised of the charge when we made the appointment. That is not true! We would not have agreed to pay $250+ for something we could essentially do ourselves. We were over charged by and felt pressured into using this company from the start and we do not recommend them to anyone.

Ameritech installed a designer entry door system about a year ago and we have received several positive comments from neighbors and the community about the beautiful door. Ameritech was clean and efficient. We had a great experience and we would recommend the company to others.

Just recently moved into a house with drafty windows, and typically it wouldn't be an issue but we also just had a baby so it was great when the Ameritech came to check it out and give a free quote.
Mike did a great job of presenting not only the benefits but not attempting to sell me on things I didn't need as a new homeowner. They were able to change some drafty windows, started on time and finished early! and we got to get the benefits right away.
Out of habit we close the bathroom door that sent a cold draft into our room with a newborn nearby but the bathroom is now just as cool as the rest of the house.
We will eventually have all our windows with Ameritech.

The customer sales representative, she was excellent. Professional and very knowledgeable of the company s products. We had a very good experience with no pressure to make a purchase.

We had our windows done by Ameritech last Summer and we couldn't be happier!! Our sales person was thorough and extremely helpful, as was the office staff we communicated with. They came out on time, finished our project faster than expected, and left absolutely no mess behind. We've notice a significant difference in our heating and cooling costs...our house was always very drafty but it's always comfortable now. My son's room was always the warmest since it caught all the direct sunlight, which is no longer the case. And safety was another major concern...the old window in my son's room had a broken latch so if we propped it open for him, I was scared to death that he's remove the prop and smash his fingers. They're honestly the best quality windows we saw and we shopped around for months! We're definitely planning on having more work done by them. We just had Ameritech's Sr. Project Manager Ibrahim Ahmed come out to our house and we were thinking of having a new deck put on, he was nice and pleasant, explained all our options to us and we once again decided to go with Ibrahim and Ameritech to get our Deck project completed.

***EDIT: I changed my rating because we have yet to get our deck and whenever we ask for an update, we get vague answers. So far, our backyard has been unusable for about a month due to the huge footers they dug and the wood they left (we have a small townhome yard). It's supposed to rain today and they left our footers uncovered after they got inspected and approved, so this will cause further delay in our project. Yesterday, someone was supposed to be here to begin building but he texted my husband to tell him his truck broke down. And he has yet to answer my husband when asked if anyone would he by today. If I could get my deposit back at this point I would...whole Summer went by and we didn't get our deck. Truthfully, I don't even want it at this point. These deck crews aren't anything like the crew that did our windows. I'll never use this company again because the level of customer service isn't consistent. Our small project has been dragged out far too long and for all this, we could've just built our own deck by now.

***EDIT 12/20/18: So we've been having water intrusion in our basement since having our deck installed and we've also had heavier-than-normal rain this year. We had a drain system + new sump pump installed a few yrs before getting this deck and literally hadn't had a single issue until now. So we had the drain installer come out to investigate and he showed us how our deck was installed improperly. Ameritech SHOULD HAVE put something in place to absorb and/or redirect the water that runs off the deck. Keep in mind that when we met with the sales person initially, we discussed in great detail that our yard was wet, so that they could take the proper measures. Apparently that didn't happen. Luckily, our drain system is still under warranty and the lovely company that installed it has offered to replace it free of charge to us and to also add in a component to keep the deck water from entering the house. But they will need to cut out drywall to access it. WE ARE GOING AFTER AMERITECH FOR THE DRYWALL REPAIR COST BECAUSE THIS S**T IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!! And honestly, I feel like we will have to end us filing a claim against them with MHIC because I doubt they'll admit any negligence here.

Guys are here now working hard! Great crew. Professional and my home is looking good! Siding is giving me a new home at the same address! Love it.

We are very pleased with our new windows. As for the crew that did the installation; they were the best. The four men worked like a well oiled machine. All we can say is this is a great company . We appreciate your company and would use your services again.

P.S. I think we will be really happy when winter comes and the snow is blowing. We will be nice and cozy.

We just signed our second contract with Ameritech. Earlier this year we had our front door and sidelights replaced. The old door was original to the house and over 40 years old. It faced full east and, in the morning, if I placed my hand on the closed door, I could feel the heat. In the winter, the floor around the door was cold from the draft and the single pane sidelights were a joke for energy efficiency. I was so happy to see it go. My new door is a dream. The installation crew were polite and efficient. They cleaned everything up, and their workmanship was excellent. The new door is always cool on the inside, the floor temp no longer reflects the seasons and the front foyer is draft free. I chose the sidelights with the built in blinds, and they are fantastic. Very happy with the project from start to finish.

Did triple pane windows last fall and all went well. Now having the do an additional 5 windows. Timmy was very helpful .

In the summer of 2011 Ameritech replaced the front door and side panels in my townhouse in Falls Church. Aside from improving the esthetics of my entryway it has significantly reduced heating and cooling costs during the past year. The workmanship is superb and was performed timely. I felt I received a good value for the work that was done. The sales representative was professional in helping me make an informed decision reviewing the samples and in the purchase and the work crew was polite and did an excellent job of clean-up after the door unit was replaced.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the salesman 100% followed the CDC guidelines. That was very important to me being a previous customer. They installed windows 2 years back and now are installing my door. This company is fantastic.

1st price they gave me for windows 32,000. The next price is 24,000 with " all of their discounts". The next price is 19,999 paid with cash. Then after talking with his boss it goes to 17,850?!? How the heck can you just arbitrarily adjust prices all the while asking how much do you want to pay? I dont know I dont install windows so tell me the rock bottom price and dont play guessing games asking what I can pay why is there not a set fee?

We have had three projects done by Ameritech. First we had the gutters replaced followed by a 50 year roof. While the gutters were being replaced, we had two tripple panes windows that matched the windows in the rest of the house. We are now going to have the entry door replaced with a steel entry door.

Ameritech is not the cheapest contractor in town; however, they stand behind their work and the products they sell and install.

We installed Ameritech triple-pane windows in 2009 and saw immediate energy saving results. Very happy with the investment and 40 yr warranty so when we sell our place, the next owner can benefit from free service in case anything happens!

I m a hard sell. A really hard sell. I ve wanted windows for a while but haven t been convinced. Mike Best convinced me at the right price. Now I ll be getting new windows, and doors. Happy.

While shopping in BJ's I had someone approach me regarding installation of windows. I was surprised to find out it was the company Ameritech. We had Ameritech install triple pane windows throughout our home three years ago and they are great! They are energy efficient, warm in winter and cool in the summer. What more can you ask for. Timmy, our sales representative contacted us to schedule our three year inspection. We haven't had any issues with the windows and highly recommend them to everyone! This is a great product that everyone should have in their homes. Kudos to Ameritech! We hope to have Ameritech install installation in our attic in the near future. Their offer excellent products.

Project manager came out and Wowed us with his presentation. The project manager's personality and knowledge of the company and it's products was exceptional. This is my second time using Ameritech and I can honestly recommend this company moving forward to any and everyone.

Put triple pane windows in my house 20 years ago.in Woodbridge. My energy cost were greatly reduced and I was amazed by efficiency of the windows. I recently bought a house in Richmond va, and needed new windows due to leaking and inefficient windows. I remembered my experience with Ameritech and called them. Timmy Gale (whom I remembered previously) and after his presentation, we were again amazing by the quality. We signed a contract to get started, and can t wait to have them installed.

Installed Ameritech Triple Pane windows over 1 year ago to improve home energy bill and has been best home improvement purchase ever. BG&E bill dropped 50$/mon. Noticed improved warmth in home immediately and still can tell the difference. Instillation was smooth and very well done. Planning to use this company again for next project.

Three years ago, we had Ameritech replace our twin designer entry doors and couldn't be happier with both the quality of installation and quality of the product. We reached out to them again for siding and were given an excellent deal for a top quality product. Timmy did right by us - I highly recommend him (and Ameritech)!
