my first contact was with Allison Pond. I had heard about this ffrom two other companies but did not believe they could do this. The others both scarred me because they sounded like crooks. Then I called Americor after receiving a mailing. Allison talked like a true professional. I was in the lending business for 32 years and conciderd myself an expert in helping people fixing their credit. I wish I would have had a program like this.
I contacted this company on Friday and was approved on Monday. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all my questions. I can t wait to be debt free in 3 years!
At first I was relieved to have Americor to assist me with my debt. But after recent events, I'm frustrated with the program. I was originally set to be debt free at the end of this year, but without any notification from Americor my program was extended for another 9 months. I'll admit I was offered by their other department a revised offer to end by March 2020, but when I called and questioned it, I was told that my last payment would be December regardless if a creditor was still pending. Obviously I was told wrong and now have to suffer through this program for another 9 months.
This is a very professional yet personable company who treat you with kindness and respect. Extremely thorough and take as much time as you need to answer all questions. Follow up has been great. I am so happy I found this option, my worry and stress have been lifted. On top of saving me thousands of dollars. I truly feel like I have a group of friends working for me.
The Americor Financial team of debt counselors and financial specialists has been informative from the jump. They re also patient and professional, and they ll do everything they can to not only help you get your financial situation straight, but to leave you with new peace of mind. Consular knew about program but you could tell that he was reading from a script . This dose not put confident in the program, plus because the concern that you thought was given at the begin, fall into a no listing period. I like the product only from word of mouth by others.
I would never use this company again - several things weren t discussed with me - whether or not they knew - I don t know but it cost me dearly - the damage is done to my credit score - companies that have agreed to settlement - ended up sending the same account to collection - so that s on my report - as well as they also charged off the account and that shows as well !! Also, when you default on a credit account - your remaining credit accounts can ( and do) raise your interest rate or close your account or lower your credit card limit under the universal default my attorney also told me that there is nothing to assure that once the account is paid according to the settlement terms - that they will reverse all the negative postings to my credit report - even though they ve agreed to post my account as paid to zero balance - my accounts (none of them) were delinquent - I was seeking lower interest rates on the credit cards - once I signed with Americor. I was instructed to stop paying the 6 accounts that entered into the program 3 months went by before I heard anything from Americor - because of Americor s techniques my credit score dropped 200 points - everything Is affected by your score ( insurance, loans ) I ve never - ever needed a co-signer for anything and I ve had several mortgages at the same time !! Signing with Americor was the worst decision I ever made - be careful who you decide to work with your situation - you may end up making it worse!!!
Devin did a great job. I am excited to get my debt under control and take back my finances. They explain everything to a T. Guides and goals. Forget what to do you can log into their easy access site or review an email.
They have been sitting on an account for the past year and a half after being offered a settlement by the credit card company that they have taken. Now they are trying to charge me interest and fees for that extra year and a half.

They give out Debt Consolidation Loans to those who doesn't really need them, but if you need one, they will no give it to you!!! They send fake pre-approval, so they will not help you they just want to make money out of you...
Nico was very personable, helpful,, caring. It was obvious that he wanted to help me. He went through the terms of the loan completely. I felt very con fident about the loan after working with him.
After a year of successfully administering my indebtedness, those who do not want to participate initially (with what I see as complete fairness to all creditors) are still given the opportunity to accept what I have to offer, which is best for me. It's not over, yet, but rather than be tempted to make outside promises I cannot keep with a sound mind, I choose to stay with the best "program" that is bringing me peace of mind and fairness to all whom I seek reconciliation.
From start to finish of setting up the program with me, they were professional, clear, very organized, overall very easy to deal with while managing to save me thousands in interest and lower my monthly biill payments by close to $400.
My experience started out great but by the end was a disaster and the customer service was awful. They even stole money from me and are blaming it on me (said I didn t do something I was never asked to do). I recommend finding another company to provide this service if you need it.
My second run at Debt Restructuring. I was against it and just was searching for a lower consolidation loan rate. Rene explained it differently and I realize how I didn't use my first run at Debt Restructuring to MY full advantage. There is a component here that if you do it right ... it will make a huge difference in your finances. It will take commitment and focus, but it can make you debt free faster than you think. Americor Green Plan is the way to go. If you are lucky enough to have Rene as your advisor, you're in good hands!!!
There were some things I want prepared for, like one creditor starting legal action against me and having to negotiate with americor to give them a huge lump sum to make it stop. In every other respect, they helped me out of a huge jam and I'm grateful to then fur the help.
I was very impressed with how quickly they came back with my results. And, how professional they were in presenting all details and explanations to me.

He explained the program, stayed on the phone with me as I asked questions and talked me through all of my options and went the extra mile to help us with our Debt relief. Worst thing I could have done was trust.someone else with my money. After they nickle and dimed me, then left me hanging on my own for Discover, my 'savings' was a few hundred dollars BEFORE I had to overpay my last creditor myself.
I am at once totally and completely satisfied and amazed with the service I received from Americor. Not only was my situation explained, but the best option for me was broken down in the most concise and professional manner any one could hope for.
I came away with no questions. I have complete confidence I made the right decision choosing Americor. They have always done what they say and when I have had questions or issues, the customer service team has always went above and beyond any explanation to answer any questions I had. They have always did their best to resolve any issues that may have come up. The team has always been kind, curious, and very respectful towards me. I had to call several time to get a simple answer that could have been resolved in one call. I made several extra payments above my normal monthly payment durng my program to help settle my debt quicker. Not all of my debt was settled as agreed upon. I was told I would have to extend my program. That was not part of the agreement. So I closed my account. You would be better off going with a different company to settle your debt. Do your research and know what you are getting into.
Americor is amazing. Everything they said would happen, happened. They are really up front, no surprises. I am thankful I found Americor.Yay for getting closer to being debt free.

during my search for a debt consolidation company to help me lower my monthly payments, I received a mailer from Americor which sounded great as to what they will do for me and I spoke to a knowledgeable agent Jonathan Tim who explained it all to me so I was not confused and signed up with Americor.
When I called Taylor was very professional and he took all my information and he sent it on to the underwriters. The mill called me back within two hours and then send it to the compliance officers everybody was very polite and professional
There lucky I give them one star! total nightmare. the only good thing is they got me to start paying the debt off myself without there help! they promise a lot of things. debt free in a couple of years. give you a loan after a certain amount of months. rebuild your credit. first you have to severely ruin your credit with them beyond fixing, they tell you to stop paying your creditors all together and most your accounts go into collection. they say they work with your creditors to come up with a settlement for a lesser amount that you owe. that is total bs. the amount they settle for is almost the same amount you owe! and your making monthly payments forever! they tell you they will give you a loan to start rebuilding your credit after a certain amount of months paying them. total bs! what they dont tell you Is you have to qualify for the loan or get a co-signer for the loan. if you dont! theres no rebuilding your credit with them. your just in a deeper hole then you started. bankruptcy would be a better option. ruining your credit and not paying is almost impossible to fix! my advice for anyone thinking there a way out. I say Run! dont sign with Americor!
This company appears more interested in their comissions than in helping their clients. Many months i spend more in commissions than my creditor paynents. And they ask for more contributions to keep up their incompetent levels. Some of the settlements were spread out so far that the payments to the creditors were small and more than a normal amount of withdrawal fees were charged. 2 of the 7 settlements were for more than what was owed and a commission fees were charged on top of that and more withdrawal fees. Some of the creditors gave me better offers than what was settled for. And this loan they promise is just a technical trap to say no to any request. Good luck.
If I could give them a 1/2 Star instead of a whole star I would. They did NOT follow through with what they told us would happen, 8 months after I started making payments to them they still hadn't sent $1.00 to my creditors. I was always told each time I called " Our team is still in negotiations, we expect to arrive at a settlement soon". In the meantime my creditor filed a lawsuit against me! So much for helping, I was actually worse off than when I started. RUN, do not walk away from this company!

Very easy to work with. They were willing to offer solutions if original ideas weren t working, continued to work with you rather than dismiss you. Only problem is the time difference being on the east coast it was difficult to set up timely meetings on our end.
I'm glad I found this company dept condolidation by Americor .We were on our last option on how we were going to pay 2 loan's, that was going to ruin us financially, but for some reason I winded up calling Americor for a loan so we had bad credit and we didn't qualify for a loan so Mike got on the phone with us and explained how we could be dept free in 36 months and so right there was our answer to our question about how we could get out of debt. Americore has helped me get my credit cards payed off. They have been there every step of the way. Kept me informed, represented me in all my card disputes. By May 2020 I will be debt free. My credit score is getting better. I couldn't have gotten through this without all of their wonderful staff helping me.
Be very careful entering into an agreement with Americor. They will ask you to stop paying your credit cards and deposit money into an account. They will tell you they will cut your debt in half and have your credit restored in some certain amount of time (3-5 years). Then they will begin negotiating with your smallest creditors and those they believe they can settle quickly. Those bigger accounts might sit for six to nine months. If the creditor decides to sue you, Americor will tell you to go to court and try to settle with your creditor and the judge. The issue here is that your account wont go down and the court settlement (or worse, judgement) will be in addition to your plan. I've been in my plan six months. They made settlement offers with four creditors of 12. The rest haven't heard anything for six months. Nothing. Then I was served with a notice to appear on the other side of the country. When I asked Americor to try to negotiate, they told me I should call the attorney for the creditor and see what I could work out. This was my largest creditor and when I asked how much it would reduce my payment plan, I was told $50. How am I going to negotiate with $50.00? I did call the attorney and they were shocked that no one from Americor would call them to at least make some attempt to negotiate. I asked if they would consider a payment plan that started in 4 - 6 months. They said they would work with me for a plan that started after 2 months. This happens to be when two of the settlements Americor did settle would be finished. I called Americor back and asked if they would call the attorney to work it out. Nope. So when I suggested I might need to just file bankruptcy, I was told that all my money would be put in a trust and that I wouldn't be able to ever take a vacation. i was told it would be on my credit the rest of my life (both are utter nonsense). When I did cancel my plan, I was told I owed over $4,000 for fees. This is why they work with those small accounts first; to hook you. Meanwhile, when the lawsuits come and the judgements are issued, you are stuck with a settlement plan, another plan with the judgement and the judgement on your record. Americor may work for some who have less debt than me, but if you have some large debt to negotiate, expect to have to do that on your own.
Great customer service, walked me thru the process to help me not to be so afraid of using this type of servic. Very patience with any questions I had, no matter how many times I asked.
They have a wonderful program to get you back on track with your credit - Unfortunately we have decided to wait until after our daughters wedding to participate so as to make sure her needs are covered.
