American Palace Hotel Review

The place has just been renovated, and has been modernized a lot. Externally and internally very nice. Very close to the metro b.

Everything was perfect, also organized for gluten-free breakfast, courtesy and professionalism. Only one flaw: you can hear everything! Both coming and going outside the rooms and on the street (and the room was located on the fourth floor). For the rest, very good.

Good location near metro station. Comfortable bed. Everything OK. But it is more 3 star hotel, not 4. Parking was closed due works, but parking on street near hotel was ok and safe.

Spacious, modern, clean rooms, comfortable bed. If the room on the first floor happens to be practically on the street but still quiet. Breakfast plentiful and good but not included in the price. Friendly staff but a bit 'noisy in the morning for cleaning.

I write this comment being hosted at this precise moment. Super old-fashioned hotel. The bathroom is very small and, as other users say in previous comments, with a cloth curtain and a dirty look, which sticks while you shower. Worst of all: we can not sleep because small insects (I suspect they were bed bugs !!!) appear incessantly in bed, pillows and walls. About 9 could count / kill, including climbing the baby's crib. In the end we will leave sooner than planned. And we will deliver at the reception the handkerchiefs with these animals.

It remains one of the best hotels in the value for money of Rome. In front of the subway, in front of the taxi station (only 20 to go to the center), the hotel is clean, quiet, the staff is courteous and professional, functioning WiFi, possibility of protected parking, sufficiently large rooms, perfect bathroom. There is the possibility of the restaurant, for an evening when you are tired. I always go back

Three stars because the bar was closed and the breakfast was very spartan. Before Corona this should have been different.

Very nice and modern structure excellent breakfast rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds only flaw the cleaning we found woman's hair (there was no woman with us) stuck in the mixer of the shower toothpaste on the ground very dated maybe the last time they have washed ashore was before opening.

Given that I come from a fantastic experience in a hotel in Milan where I was served and pampered, I can't say I was sick. But this Hotel is missing for being better than leaving it a little in mediocrity. Example: the coldness at the reception, the absence of the kettle in the room or the free H2O, the shower / tub, slippers only on request. In short, unimportant little things. Decent breakfast, cleanliness and OK location. Undercover pay garage 15.

Excellent buffet with a wide choice of 9 including water. You can enter until 2.30pm. Very kind service.

The hotel is clean, well maintained and rooms are good. Location is abit boring. Very far from all the nice spots. Came with a tour and we were all disappointed with the location. Again this place is nice but around you their isnt much. You'll need to catch a cab to get to even a restaurant.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience in this hotel. I made a reservations through their website and they sent me a confirmation email. But when I reached the hotel, they said it is canceled. How, why and when I don't know!!!!!!!! I tried to find a hotel but it was very expensive. All hotels doubled the prices since it was a season time.
You can't imagine the hard time we went through me and my wife.

Excellent accommodation and very convenient location, I had a room at a very low price.

Clean, comfortable and cared for. Excellent value for money. Too bad the excessive cost of the internal parking (15,50) but it is free in the side streets.

Small and poorly organized meeting room, small parking. Friendly staff

One of the worst experiences in my life. We arrive at the hotel at 8:30 pm and we ask to register later because we were late for the concert which started at 9 pm, that's okay for them so we leave our bags and leave. Back at the hotel we receive the surprise, at the reception they tell us that there is no room for us because there were problems with the heating and that they would have transferred us to another hotel (Without anyone having previously notified us by phone or when we put down the suitcases) owned by them. We then wait for the taxi for 15 minutes at the hotel, all this at 00:30. Finally the taxi arrives and takes us to the other hotel. Once there they make us wait another 20 minutes to register instead of taking the documents and giving us the keys since it was already a certain time. Moral of the story we went to bed at 1:00 am after all this fluttering. The only positive note, the hotel is very clean and thankfully very comfortable.

Convenient for location next to the terminus metro B, laurentina. Clean, professional and helpful staff. A note: empty minibar and lack the courtesy slippers in the room (but immediately they deliver you to the request)

The structure to be a 4 star is very dated, the food served at the end is re-mashed or rather overcooked the breakfast is quite decent .. Not very satisfied

Good staff, but the hotel itself is very antiquated and could do with a refurbish. Downstairs restaurant is nothing special, however be aware that there is no free breakfast buffet as advertised, there is A 5 charge per person.

The rooms are tiny and even more so the bathroom. The bathtub is made of plastic and instead of a screen it has an unhygienic curtain that, if used, it will stick ...
To be able to use the towels you have to close the bathroom door of how small it is ... the ceiling of the bathroom with mold ...
For dinner every night they get the same although there is some variety and not bad at all, breakfast leaves much to be desired ...

The only good thing is the communication with the metro

In conclusion ... in Spain there are 2 star hotels much better than this 4!

A great place to stay in Rome. It is clean and the service is very good. The staff is polite and very helpful. It is the second time I'm staying in this hotel when visiting Rome and most probably when I come again I'll stay here !

Restaurant room very noisy. Never seen such a thing. Very disagreeable.

Price ratio indisputable price. Place that seems out of the way but having the metro station within walking distance you can actually reach the center in a few minutes. Completely renovated hotel has very functional rooms in a modern style. Okkio only to the street-side rooms. Those on the lower floors could hear traffic noise!

Hotel on the outskirts of Rome with good value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is varied. Twenty minutes from Roma Termini station by the metro line B. A good alternative to small rotten hotels in the city center.

Rooms dated. May have a paint. Balcony walls the same. Staff goes. Furthermore, large groups come very busy and noisy. Also breakfast very busy. Hotel is on a busy street. Rooms on that side not recommended. For 1 night okay. And metro nearby.

Nice rooms, great service. Good mobility with the "Laurentina" Metro stop just a stone's throw from the hotel. Excellent restaurant that also includes a good "Carta dei Vini". He was truly hospitable and pleasant. A good hotel for everyone.

The 4-star hotel has only a 3-star hotel experience, but the decoration is simple but sacrifices a lot of human facilities.
