American Palace Hotel Review

Modern, quiet and functional rooms, breakfast needs improvement but with covid there are limitations that make the service more complicated

The rooms were nice and clean. Check in was easy and friendly staff. The Buffett breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. One suggestion would be the bed a little softer.

Convenient close to the metro, but I can't remember who I've been there with .....

I charge at the American Palace Hotel in the past for short periods of about a week each, always finding the right comfort and great service. Recently, I appreciated the excellent organization and management of unit conferences serving connections offered to customers. The centrality of the site compared to the operating offices of numerous companies, contribute to the high usability of the offered variables that it makes available.

Good hotel.Breakfast buffet varied and very well located with a metro stop nearby that takes you without loss to the center of Rome where the main monuments are.

Hotel in eur area clean and with affordable prices. Clean rooms and good breakfast.

Clean but limited parking and very poor breakfast. They even charge you 3,50 extra for two fried eggs when they say breakfast included

A great hotel recently renovated very clean and comfortable rooms very friendly staff and also close to the train station De Laurentis I recommend it

While the rooms were a bit small, it was clean and seemed fine for a not too expensive hotel in Rome. Very close to metro without costing an arm and a leg was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

To be 4 stars I would say it is bad. If it were three stars I would say barely.
The internet never worked in the room.
Being 4 people put us on the top floor in a large room but like a manzarda so the adults more than once we hit the head ....
We arrived late and there was no dining room service or offered to the room so we had to go for a walk to find a place. They did not want to change a ticket because they do not do that ....

Really positive experience !!! Really up to par staff !! I recommend it to everybody! From reception to table service, to clean rooms! Kindness and courtesy are not lacking !. Hotel located in front of the subway, 6 stops from the Colosseum .. (9 km maybe) .. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!

Cute a little dated, good location near weather and bus stops

Cozy and modern facility recently renovated. Friendly staff willing to meet requests. Excellent and abundant breakfast with a wide range of products from sweet to savory. Beverage vending machines on each floor. Great location just steps from the B subway line. Recommended.

Modern and close to the metro. I came across a room with a bad smell of smoke and the manager immediately moved me to a suite without any raise.

Everything is good: the room and the bathroom are very clean, there is space for lighting, etc ...
The restaurant at the hotel is perfectly fine.

I liked all of their services.
A slight flat about the rooms overlooking the street: Despite good soundproofing, it is possible to hear the noisiest vehicles.

The food is acceptable the 4 star hotel does not have anything like a hostel in terms of hygiene and quality of rooms

Very good attention they have staff who speak different languages, comfortable, good breakfast, if I return to Rome I will surely stay again. All very, the only thing that is very far from the center of Rome but has the Laurentina station a few blocks away. Economic price to be a 4-star hotel.

The restaurant is dedicated only for group tourists. Denied access to the restaurant! Something not specified on the site. Bad conduct!

The Hotel is really disappointing. The rooms are old and small, the bathroom blackened and full of limestone. The price is a 4-star hotel, but the value is of an abandoned hostel. I strongly advise against it.

Nice place only to see from afar, poor cleaning of the rooms, unhygienic throughout, poor breakfast and poor quality, not to mention the incapable chef, disgusting dishes.

Touristy hotel in the outskirts of Rome, well served by public transportation. You can join old town in less about 30 minutes.
The venues are old and tired but fully functional.
Cleanliness is acceptable.

One of the best hotels in Rome. First it was beautiful, now it has been redone and lots of stuff. The rooms are fabulous, the one they gave me (a double) was fabulous with a 48 inch TV, modern and beautiful decor, fabulous bathroom. Really congratulations.

The Hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from Laurentina metro station, and you can go everywhere using public transport. The rooms are small and the furniture is very old and it is an old building as well as old staff not very supportive but kind. Anyway, I find the price very compatible with the comfort you find there. The food is quite good and plenty. I recommend this hotel if you are going to finish some work in Roma, it's quite convenient because you can find good food, a 24 hours market near there for any drink you may need, a big pharmacy as well and every kind of public transport near the door of the Hotel.

Located next to the subway but the area is full of street vendors. The hotel itself is justito and they stay without breakfast they are not prepared and the staff is quite unpleasant

Great courtesy and friendliness of the staff and technicians. Human persons and of pleasant presence. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. The rooms are warm. During the stay I had a small problem. The staff was activated to give me immediately a new room more comfortable and welcoming than the first one without any delay. Fast Internet, TV. Very clean. Continental breakfast. I advise.

Having worked in the hotel industry, I am very demanding when I travel and I have a technical eye. I have to congratulate this establishment where I was able to stay at a destination wedding residential course

Simone and Arif welcomed us as if we were regulars and then at home. For us it was actually the first time and their courtesy and availability made us very happy. Super room with attached cinema (top TV) and excellent cleaning. Nearby metro station that allows you to be in the center in 15 minutes. We'll all be back.

Great place. We received a beautiful, tastefully decorated room, with an elegant bathroom, fully equipped and supplied with necessary things every day. The bathroom and room were cleaned daily, including the making of the bed :), 3 people could fit in the shower;). Peace and quiet in the hotel. The corridors smell fresh, the hotel lobby beautiful, never crowded. Service very nice and helpful, even in the smallest matters. Breakfasts worthy of kings, everything your heart desires. The hotel is located in a quiet area, in close proximity to the subway, which within 10 minutes. You can get to the most important points from Rome, with or without change. We highly recommend this hotel!

Good location right near the Metro station Laurentina, so good as a base for travel into Rome centre. The view is a bit bleak, graffiti, the bus station etc.. Room was small, and fairly modern, though cleaning leaves something to be desired, as there were leaves and dirt that stayed put throughout our stay. Overall a less expensive way to see Rome, but don't expect too much.

Indoor parking available for a fee. However, it is possible to find free parking in the areas adjacent to the hotel. Clean and well soundproofed rooms. Compliance with the main anticovid security measures.
