My favorite theater in Boston. Popcorn is still freshly made (unlike AMC and others that have it just sitting on a shelf...). Theaters/chairs are amazing and clean. Staff is also super nice. I love coming here.

I went to this theater last night for the first time to watch I, Tonya and it was THE BEST experience I have ever had at a movie theater. The popcorn was amazing, the food was amazing, the seats were super comfortable and the view I was sitting on was perfect . The whole theater room is really cool. It was a great experience and the staff is super nice. This is my new favorite movie theater to go to. Can t wait to go again!

TLDR: Reclining seats, Snack Variety, Slightly Pricey

The seats are absolutely incredible. In fact they aren't even chairs. They are reclinable sofa clouds with leg rests. It's truly the most comfortable cinema you will ever sit in.

There is a huge variety of snacks and they all come at appropriate prices.

You may pay a bit of a higher price compared to other cinemas but it is absolutely worth the money.

Now that reserved seats are more common, it's about the only way I'll see movies. I'm not sure when it happened, but Fenway 13 now has some theaters that have reclining reserved seats. I'd been going to Assembly Row exclusively for that reason, but was happy to add another theater to the mix. I think the sound and comfort might even be better here.

Good movie theater but I am not a huge fan of the reserving recliner theaters. However the regal reward system is better than most and the new bar will give you your alcohol fix that most independent theaters offer. The Rpx experience is worth the up charge and I appreciate the regular seating. Give it a try.

Called 4 times in 15 minutes as I circled looking for their parking and they didn't answer the phone and didn't have a recording or voicemail. I spoke to an employee and they had nothing to comment on the lack of information or responsiveness. Poor management! Go to an AMC.

if you're a big movie goer, this is not the theater for you.

I'm one of those people who goes to the movies often. like at least once a month often, frequently more, alone or in huge groups I've gathered up to join me. I show up early, buy my ticket early, enter the theater early, I get good seats and I spend money on popcorn because hey, we all love sneaking in candy but as said, I love going to the movies and do know where theaters make their money.

this theater is the kind that's set up specifically to appeal only to one time movie goers. you know, the one who go once every few months, don't feel dealing w people and just want the convenience of a guaranteed ticket and seat.

translation: the only way to get a good seat here is to buy your ticket online ahead of time and pay more for the online "convenience fee" because there are assigned seats, and weird rules to go along with them besides.

my friends like this theater because it's nearby, got comfy seats (it does it gets full marks for comfort or this would be a 1 star review) so I've been here a lot and everytime, im annoyed unless we bought tickets for some event thing that required purchasing a month ahead.

example: went to see a movie that had been out for several weeks recently, late on a week day. weren't expecting a lot of fight for seats so we show up just on time instead of early for once. of course, we have to pick out seats as a we buy them cause god is dead and tho it's not a packed theater, literally everyone has bought their seats spaced away from each other. fine. we're paying for ourselves tho and the first person buys the best remaining seats. the next of us then couldn't buy the seat next to them because now, there aren't 2 spaces between us and the next group. we're forced to buy seats that aren't next to each other, sit together and hope no one buys their tickets even more last minute than us and claim one of the seats. someone shows up 10 mins after the movie has started and we were forced to move cause again, there is no God.

buying day of, hours a head of time? your seat sucks cause all decent seats are already sold out. buying to see a movie alone and still ok seats left cause you're not looking for multiple seats and next to each other? wait doesn't matter, you can't buy a seat if it only leaves one seat between you and the next person because they want people buying 2 tickets at a time and you still can only get the back or front row. buying tickets separately from your friend but at the same time? you cant because again, you can't leave a space between you and the next person so even if there's 2 spaces open, or even three, you can't both buy a seat because no there's only one empty space left and the system won't allow that. showing up spontaneously to see a movie day of hours ahead of time? still doesn't matter, all good seats sold out yesterday. the rules are stupid and specific and always a good seat requires extra money.

if you're fine spending for your guaranteed seat and buying either hours or a day before, this theater will be fine for you. it's very comfy, food and drink sizes are good. but im already dropping money on food and a ticket, why would I spend more money on the ticket when I know I wouldn't have to if I went literally anywhere else?

it's like yall designed this theater only for online ticketing and you really might have and I guess that works for yall but it sure doesn't work for me. for actual movie lovers and frequent movie viewers, stick to the commons theater. you'll always get a good seats no matter when you buy your ticket in person unless you're stupidly late to a busy film. I hope this theater one day fixes it's system but I doubt it will and I'll just keep encouraging my friends maybe not that theater, isn't it juuust enough out of the way of public transportation? let's just go to the commons yeah?

This is a area surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants. It's a nice place to watch superhero movies. Good screening and seating experience in RPX. You can watch all latest movie, currently topping on box office. They offering drink through the movie. Easy commutable by Fenway T (Green Line).

Use to be preferable place to see a movie until parking increased for a movie from $8 to $28. The theater management (which does not control the garage) agrees that this is causing huge problems (the theater had small crowds last Saturday).

After trying the lounge chairs in many theaters, this should be the most comfortable and soft viewing lounge chair I have ever sat in Boston. However, due to its geographical location and other advantages, its fare is also higher than other theaters. Overall, it is worth recommending.

Cool

I'm an Unlimited member and I see movies very frequently at this location. Despite how busy it is near the Fenway area, the staff here are super friendly and efficient at moving lines along while meeting all of their guests needs. The theaters are all very roomy and comfortable, and I've never walked into a dirty theater here. The reclining seats are decently sized and the connected tables are large and easy to maneuver. In the standard, stadium seats, some arms do not lift; this was not an issue to me but keep this in mind if you're someone who likes to spread out or you're larger. Overall very nice theater, and it's certainly worth the monthly pass if you go out a lot.

This is a really conveniently located movie theater with several choices of auditoriums. There's 3D, RPX, and standard. There's also standard seats vs reclining couches in stadium seating, which are reserved when you get the tickets. I'd recommend looking into the seating before you buy. The recliners are so much more comfortable and spacious that I almost don't care about the type of movie a particular auditorium is playing (3d or rpx or whatever) as long as the seating is the correct type.

This movie theater is the best! Come here every time because I love the reclining seats - very comfortable and homey. Friendly staff. One minus is the parking - pretty expensive. Went to see the incredibles 2 tonight. Everything was great as always:)

I had a terrible experience for the first time ever. We couldn t concentrate and enjoy the movie because there so many small rats running around. The one even came on the table my popcorn was. I ve been to Regal many and have never experienced this. The place is clearly not clean that s why there s rats.

A big, corporate movie theater. It does the job.

A big, corporate movie theater. It does the job.

I do recommend getting there early for big shows/premiers--it's one of the only theaters in this area and it can get SWAMPED on the weekends. There's plenty of bathrooms, plenty of food, and public transportation nearby.

The theater is also nicely situated by a few bars and restaurants for before/after the movie to have drinks or some food. A nice plus!

Just took 13 people to Avengers:Endgame. Woman cashier at concessions was great with all my orders for the kids. However great movie experience was ruined by awful parking experience. We took 3 cars - validated all parking. My wife talked to a human and luckily got the validated $4. I ended up paying $28 X 2 cars at the automated machine which supposedly scanned the validation stamp. UTTER RIPOFF. But at least I won't tell you who dies at the end of the movie.

Beatiful chain multiplex cinema with very convenient motorized armchairs. Good quality of picture and sound. Wide spectrum of movies. Not very far from metro station in the center of Boston. One of the best cinemas in the city.

Possibly the best place in Boston to go to the movies. You'll pay a small premium for the luxury of having leather recliners and reserved seating (check online before going), but it's completely worth it. Feels more like you're in a private theater room than a public place.

The concession stand moves at a crawl, and of course the markups are absurd. But you won't be in a rush because there'll be a never-ending series of previews before your movie starts, anyhow.

Super convenient to get to on the T, but late night showings may end after the train stops running. Getting an Uber here at those times is quick.
