Pastor Nelson is incredible!
He is the finest teacher of 'Gods Word', that I have ever heard.
Church is big in size but even bigger in heart!
Absolutely the BEST you'll find - this side of not attending seminary.

Denton Bible Church holds the Bible as the inerrant word of God. Tommy teaches in a way that is engaging and relevant for me. I've only grown in my relationship with God since attending Denton Bible Church.

Tom Nelson is one of the greatest preachers of our generation. He's an expositor not a showman and he remains faithful to The Word, besides that he's an excellent storyteller. When I leave a service at DBC I'm always comparing my thoughts and behavior to the Word of God, and looking for ways to make changes. To me he's a combination of R.A. Torrey and J. Vernon McGee. May he have the longevity of W.A. Criswell !

Lots of amenities, coffee and sometimes donuts in the early service. Pastor is very interesting and not afraid to preach on uncomfortable subjects. This is what I like in a church!

Denton Bible is a one of a kind church. Tommy Nelson s teaching is inspiring and always though provoking. There are small groups and programs of any variety you could imagine. Praise and worship is great too.

Tom Nelson is a hypocritical jerk!! He knows NOTHING about giving someone who has depression any hope or encouragement. When I was deep in my bipolar depression and anxiety about 15 years ago, and attending Tom's church, I went to him for encouragement and guidance. Tom simply told me I was the most negative person he had ever known and could not give me any guidance. Where is the encouragement and grace it that? Satan has used those words several times a year ever since then to destroy my confidence and well being. SATAN has used Tom's words to me, to destroy me. Thanks Tom for being the MEANEST person i have ever known. Hope others see this and realize what a hypocrite you are. I will continue telling everyone what a hypocrite you are.

Came here for my little brothers graduation and thought I might find Jesus here but he is just too good at hiding.

Denton Bible is the place to go if you want to grow in your spiritual walk with the Lord. DBC does an amazing job of speaking truth straight from God's Word. Tommy Nelson is a wonderful teacher!

Teachings are phenomenal - both small groups and Pastor Tommy Nelson.

Tommy Nelson is the most down to earth but hard core here it is Christian pastor and I wouldn't change a thing! Love this place!

Excellent teaching if you don't mind a big church. There are plenty of small groups to get plugged into to meet people.

My family and I have been attending since 1991. This is where I finally understood who God was, what he has and continues to do for man and what it truly means to be a Christ follower. You leave every Sunday knowing more about God's word rather than an emotional feel good experience. Tom tells it like it is and doesn't hold back the truth. My kids love going too. If you want to know what it means to be a Christian, come learn from Denton Bible Church and from a teacher not a preacher.

My son`s graduation was at this Church.. & yes... it is a big impressive building.....
But it wasn't till I met an absolutely beautiful couple in a waiting room yesterday that I took notice of the actual Church... this man & woman are of a true Christian spirit & there is my curiosity... is it them as a strong couple? .... or is this from the teachings of this particular Church?.... on the reviews there seem to be a lot of praises written about the pastor...
But the couple I met brought to mind...
"By their fruits ye shall know them"...
Hopefully I can visit soon to know what is what... be blessed y'all

Was there for a graduation for Krum High School it was wonderful and very clean!

Not the type of church I normally attend, but the main point was given with the plan of salvation.

They are too focused on technology and trying to please everyone, while standing for nothing.. While we live in such interesting times, you would not know it by going to this church. I honestly don't think Jesus would be pleased.

I found it too filled with technology and rock music. I have never been fond of hearing those bands at a church. I find it to be a little too much and somewhat inappropriate. The preacher will then have about 3 or 4 lines from the bible in his talk, but was mostly trying to make people laugh.

I thought, "He spends all week preparing for this day and that is all he has to offer? A couple of lines from the bible that are totally saturated in technology and that pretentious rock music?".

Harsh words, I know, but someone should say it and perhaps they will get new leadership. The kids need better examples to learn from than that. The church will most likely blow off this criticism and keep doing what they do, I get that sense from them. Perhaps we will get a real church soon that will focus on the right things.

Favorite church to attend in Denton. Be glad when I'm able to go back.

This was my home church while I lived in Texas. I was involved in every aspect I could be within the AWANA, youth, choir, and Sunday School. The services are always enlightening and uplifting, they have amazing Bible Study groups and MANY to pick from, and considering the size of the church many opportunities for fellowship. Couldn't recommend more

I really had high hopes for our first visit to this church. We decided to attend the Christmas Eve service. My adult son is a wounded warrior Marine in a wheel chair. My adult daughter looks normal but suffers from Schizophrenia. We went directly after arriving 45 minutes early, to the handicapped seating area. There were sevaral that were taken by able bodied people who refused to move to allow us to use them. We finally asked an usher to help us. We were given seats in the farthest end of the room. Shocked and hurt by so many rude and greedy able bodied people there that clearly did not care that we needed the seats that they took and were saving for themselves. To make things worse, the pastor make a joke during his sermon about schizophrenia and of course in his ignorance he thought it means multiple personalities.
We will never attend this so called Christian church again. They should all learn a little about Jesus and his teachings first. Shameful.

We were there for the first time attending a memorial service. The campus is large enough that it took us a bit to determine the exact location. Afterwards we drove by the community garden that has strong support from the church.

Denton Bible is very friendly, has many outreach opportunities for those who need the services they offer or would like to serve. They have Bible studies and Small group in-home studies. DBC is a Bible Believing Church that teaches the inerrancy of God's Word.

Tommy Nelson is a fantastic Bible teacher, you WILL learn from the Bible at Denton Bible Church. The worship is always uplifting. Lots of great ministries to get you involved after you are a member.

I absolutely love this place and their commitment to sharing the good news of God to man through Jesus. They want to help families love each other.

Denton Bible's Counseling Ministry was recommended to me by a friend. I left two messages (The second message was left almost a week after the first.) and have never heard from them.

A place where the Gospel is preached and the Bible is taught word for word every Sunday. We believe in an inerrant Word of God and Salvation through His Son, by grace through faith, not by works, so no man may boast!

Wonderful people everywhere we turn. They care and follow up. Ask and you shall receive... the people are so helpful. Teaching is outstanding and clear... along with humor and great application week after week. We have been attending here for four months and love every part of the ministry here. We have made so great new friends who encourage us weekly.

Visited from out of state and Pastor Tommy took time to greet me and my wife. His advice to me as a young pastor was priceless. I have listened to his teaching through podcasts for a good while and pray he sees many more years in the ministry.

I recently attended the men's conference here and loved it. Tommy Nelson is a mighty warrior for God's kingdom!

Most honest and biblically accurate teaching I've ever experienced. Excellent children's ministry. People are not judgemental but honest, and, meet you where you are.

Very disappointed they didn't have a feeding room or separate area for breastfeeding moms. When I asked where I could feed my 1 month old, the lady said sorry and admired me for "what I do." I had to go out to my hot car to feed my baby.

Been listening to pastor Nelson from afar for a decade now. From weekly sermons to the history of the church and so much more I can't express how much his biblically grounded teaching has enriched my walk. God is and has used him and DBC well!

It is not an exaggeration to say that this is one of the best churches on earth. It gives more food away than many charitable organizations, it reaches out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, it places a strong emphasis on the spiritual growth of each and every believer, and the pastor is arguably the best bible teacher of our time. Pastor Tom Nelson teaches the Bible in it's context and reveals how it applies to us today. He points to the biblical position on every crucial topic of twenty first century: from Salvation through Christ alone, to how the believer is called to live in a world hostile to Christianity, and even to the role of government. He also explains how modern men and women of the world follow an existential belief system that even they do not understand. In short, the emphasis is on knowing Christ and making him known, knowing God's word so we know how we should live, and understanding how the world thinks so that we can engage them with God's truth in love.

Great service with Tommy, & the kids and student ministry is wonderful! Highly recommend for children of any age!

I met Jesus through the ministry of Denton Bible. Mel and Tommy grounded me for a continuing life in Jesus. 30+ years later I love and live Jesus and I love Denton Bible church!

Praising the Lord for churches like Denton Bible. There's no perfect church. (And if you ever find one, don't join it.) But churches where God's Word is preached and held in honor are not as common as they used to be. DBC is holding firm by God's grace. Can't wait to go again.

Born again church based on Bible teachings...they train disciples and send them around the world! Multicultural church no division or racism. You enjoy salvation of Christ with the body of Christ.

My wife and I are participating in a marriage class using a sermon series by Pastor Tommy Nelson from many years ago. His engaging manner (as directed by the Holy Spirit) and his obviously genuine care for those he is teaching, has lead my wife and I into a deeper and more mature relationship. Pastor Nelson points to Christ and the Truth of God.
We have not been to DBC for a service, but their outreach has ministered to us!

Large church with ample everything but judging by the eulogy given by the Pastor for my friend I would say if you are in the area, this is your new home church.

Across the street from the location of the Denton Mobile Pantry every 2nd Saturday of month, 9 to 11 am.

As an out of state visitor to Denton Bible Church, I'd like to express appreciation for Tommy Nelson's awesome gift of seeing both the incarnation and salvation through the rich lenses of both art and history, which persuasively "declare the glory of God". If I experience Tommy's 2013 Christmas Eve service a dozen times, there will still be more to savor.
In the Enunciation message leading up to Christmas, Tommy's insight as to the truth dilemma we find ourselves in today, nails cultural relativism both succinctly and brilliantly, "The effect is not greater than the cause". We thank God for you, Pastor Nelson.

It's a big church but I always feel welcome. The teaching lives up to the name "Bible" Church. There are a number of ministries to meet every segment, young and old, just as you'd expect from its size. I prefer the early Service at 9AM which makes parking easier. But both morning services are the same so it's just a preference.

This is the place for sound biblical teaching and worship!

I love belonging to this Godly church. We have awesome Biblical teaching every week. The orchestra and choir are amazing and add so much to the worship.

This church is the real deal! If ur looking to have ur eas tickled it's not the church for you. Tommy Nelson teaches strictly from the bible, he has been such a Blessing to our family, especially during hard times. Denton bible has given above and beyond to this community always ready to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Thank you Tommy for always staying true to our Lord and guiding us through His Word!

Also has many occasions to serve.it is one of the few churches which unites sound bible teaching with love for others through many ministries. Pastor Tommy is wonderful, you can listen the sermons on line on youtube, but also others are very good in mzking the Bible alive in your daily life.

This place taught my kids the perks of Satanism. And for that, I am not happy.

Very welcoming! We were greeted by someone immediately when we walked in and ushered to the most relevant place for us to go no problem! The worship is fantastic, such good music and sound from the orchestra, choir, and worship leaders. Huge church, so be ready for the vast size when you walk in!

I do not enjoy going to church to have a political agenda pushed down my throat. The pastor justified this sermon by stating if anybody wanted to leave the church that was fine but he could recommend a "soft" church. Personally, I found that to be a little too judgmental for a church service. Really enjoyed the music, the people and the overall atmosphere.Too bad they can't get a new pastor.

A very secure place to go. I was approached by their volunteer security 4 times. You should definitely feel safe here.
