The attorneys either don't return your call or have no interest in providing a consultation for $45. I just got told that a $25,000 retainer would be needed for a $6,000 case again HPN. It is no wonder that the insurance companies practice bad faith. No one has the scajuanas to take on the industry.
Evil, useless and total waste of time. I had a lawyer steal $50,000 from me and, in court, do the complete opposite of what I told him to do. We hired him to prevent an injunction being set against us but he went into court and agreed to the injunction! WE HIRED him to PROTECT us and FIGHT the injunction!
My wife and I had a LOT of evidence showing what he was hired for as well as his agreement to do what we hired him to do... instead, he went into court and pleaded to agree with the injunction on our behalf (total opposite of what we hired him to do) and then he removed himself from the case! We reported him, included all evidence and six months later was told the state bar would NOT be interested in pursuing the matter due to there not being enough evidence. A TOTAL LIE! There was SOOOOO much evidence! We ended up suing the lawyer and getting all our money back, minus legal fees and lost our case, but the bar? They didn't care a bit! USELESS, EVIL, CORRUPT and totally in the pocket of "the good-old-boys-law-network"
