Amari Palm Reef Resort Review

Really good room. Staff were great especially Anna she had only been there 1 week & couldn't do enough for us. Even decorated our room for our 30th wedding anniversary.

One of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed at!
They go above and beyond to ensure you're happy and comfortable. Other hotels can definitely learn from these guys!
I stayed here with my family (3 adults, 1 teenager and a 6 year old) for almost 2 weeks, and they had catered to everyone!
The kids club came in quite handy too!

Special mention to 'Mam' the restaurant manager, 'Tristan' the assistant resort manager, 'Choochoo' and 'Lara' who have made my stay truly incredible. They deserve to be recognised for their hard and dedicated work. Especially considering that they are ALWAYS smiling and happy even though they work very long hours.

The ONLY room for improvement is that the flydoors in the rooms are very hard to open and close and are quite flimsy, and than on some days house keeping comes to the room quite late (2pmish) it would be nice for housekeeping to come during breakfast time so that we can return to a neat room. Other than that no complaints!

I am more than happy with my stay and will definitely be returning!

Very good service, delicious food, lovely staff, recommend it here.

The place is nice, but the food is expensive for the quality and the attentive staff. If you are going to eat there, I recommend the mango sticky rice dessert.

Very pleasant hotel despite a somewhat long check-in. Two beautiful pools with clean towels always available. Breakfast is excellent. Drinks from the room's mini-bar are at exorbitant prices! Too bad, suddenly, many buy bottles of water outside. The staff are pleasant. The rooms are large but sometimes smell of humidity. I still recommend the Amari Koh Samui Hotel!

Amazing place for a get away. Unlike the busy and crowded Bangkok, Koh Samui is a much better place to relax and Amari resorts suits it well. Amazing resort on the beach with all most all the facilities you would want for a getaway including pool, self drive car rentals, massage, name it and its available.

We originally stayed at their relationship hotel Ozo hotel but were upgraded here. The environment ring is very suitable for family vacations, but it is very unsuitable for couples to come here.. The atmosphere takes the parent-child route. The hotel staff is very good and friendly. The only thing I don't like is that I still need to line up for breakfast. Then the air conditioning system in the room can't be blown down on every corner and the place where we sleep is particularly hot and humid. Because the hotel can go straight to the beach, it is often brought into the room, the cleaning staff can pay attention to the cleanliness of some people on the floor. Thank you very much Ozo hotel for us to upgrade to Amari koh samui but I think it should be next time I will choose Ozo because the atmosphere is more suitable for couples and is more suitable for adults over 18 years old, but also can really relax.

Excellent hotel for families. Breakfast is very rich in comfortable rooms and swam pools and service as only the Thais know to give equal and highly recommended

Room 1km from the beach and this is not suitable for swimming, prices far too high for what it is! But rooms are a shame the man is duped with the online images. Not enough for this money

Stayed on October 16, the past was very impressed, the room was very good, the breakfast variety was good. Good location for that area The service staff is at a good level. But unfortunately rarely in the room at all I'm busy driving Want to stay for a long time For a great room like this And that exceeds expectations, the hotel surprised us by updating the room for us as well We say the hotel is sincere with customers. A clean, nice and comfortable hotel next to the beach

Very good just in the evening it is very noisy you can hear some late music coming from the city next door which is very busy. The ideal shot for young people like us but not for holidays in rest and sleep mode tot and the breakfast buffet is really very good!

Hotel is split into 2 parts. The main lobby, restaurants and beach wing are next to the pool and beach. The Thai village and Garden wings are across the road, which is not as convenient if you want to go to the beach. The room facilities are a little old. The half of the satellite TV channels are not available after 10pm. When they are available, the transmission was very bad. Have prob plugging the kettle to the power. There is only 1 power source at the desk area. The other 2 near the passage which is not usable. There is shower lotion and shampoo in the bathroom, but it s not labelled so couldn t quite figure out which is which. There are 2 pools, 1 at each side of the road, but the pools are quite small. Breakfast buffet has quite a good varieties of selections. The sea water is very shallow, and you will be able to walk quite far out. The sand on the beach are white and fine, but nearer to the sea, it s more coarse. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

I liked this place a lot to rest. The breakfast is excellent. The front rooms are good for those farthest from reception no.

Superb beachfront hotel with spacious rooms, very good service and grear breakfast buffets. Located only a 10-minute drive from the airport and not far to the town centre The hotel's Prego restaurant is also very good.

The hotel is very sleepy. There are many zones, 2 sides, with a 24 hour golf cart. Breakfast buffet is available in a variety of options. The staff is ok.

An old hotel keeps rooms with a musty odor in rooms not in Front Beach

Nice hotel, unfortunately we always had to cross the street to the beach, pool or for breakfast.

Nice location, clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, easy access to the beach (even if you stay other side of hotel). Ideal for honeymoon. Stayed there for 4 days, no complaints from my side. Not giving 5 rating due to its shorter beach(but no complaints).

Overall, the system makes a very good impression. Breakfast is highly recommended. There are 2 pools. Unfortunately we had a room directly on the street and the air conditioning was very loud. Couldn't sleep well. The room didn't make a good impression either. Had a room for one night afterwards which was a lot better.

The best breakfast buffet I've ever had. Great pool and great service. Feels very luxuy and they offer a lot of different services (tours, spa, restaurant, theme nights, cafe)

Amazing view. The staff were super friendly. Always willing to help. Good location. Close enough to the nightlife to be able to walk. Far enough that the nights were peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely stay again.

The resort was fantastic in many ways. The staff were great especially Tak and chef Mark . Both of them really took care of us.

Amazing place great location the rooms were lovely very clean .the pool areas and restaurant were excellent.alsocthe beach is great with a lovely walk down to the central town area. Overall though the staff make the Amarillo especially staff like Tu Tu ,Pen and Mack who where simply the best.

Perfect place for families on Chaweng Beach. Great pools, fabulous breakfast buffet and close to the beating heart of Chaweng and its restaurants and nightlife...

Average place. For Thai standarts staff is not very nice and smiley. But they are efficient. Rooms are poor, ibis style. Pools are nice.

This was our second visit at the Amari. Location and service are great but we found a couple of drawbacks this time that hampered our stay. Firstly our first visit last June we stayed in the lower storey of the vila in the garden wing. Issue we had was the constant pile driving noise throughout the day coming from next door s construction. It was simply uncomfortable trying to have a peaceful time. We thought we would give the Amari another chance and visit the hotel again so I emailed them late last year concerned about the noise. I was assured by them that it had stopped and that construction is at the internal stage. How wrong they were. We arrived 3 weeks ago and experienced a constant bashing of metal next door all day. The construction was nowhere near the internal stage as they stated. We felt deceived in a way and thought they could have been honest prior to us booking. Our room was an upper storey unit in the garden area. The fan above us creaked all the time and made sleeping unbearable. Luckily we had a short stay this time. I found things will only get fixed if someone complains about it. No regular maintenance checks.

This is just a perfect hotell. I can't find anything negative to say. It has got 2 big pools, it's located on the beach and it's just close enough to the city that you can walk but still quiet.

The breakfast was the best hotell breakfast I have eaten in Thailand.

I Wil be going back her again.
