Altman & Altman, LLP Review

Steven Goldwyn and David Altman stole my fathers personal injury, against MBTA lawsuit settlement. They negotiated his case without his permission, tormented him about his case not being worth anything and expected my father to be ok with accepting five thousand dollars. I reported Steven Goldwyn and David Altman to the Office of Bar Council about their misconduct but NOTHING was done about their behavior. This law firm should be shut down and prosecuted but unfortunately their is no justice for clients who report their lawyers crimes in Boston, Massachusetts. Stay away from this business they are unethical and corrupt.

I was so pleased with my experience and getting to know Steven Goldwyn. I m from out of state so when the summons came in the mail it was bizarre. I did a bit of googling and found Altman and Altman. My wife and I called Steven. She wanted me to hire him immediately but I wasn t convinced. About a week later I called him back and the passion and fight I was looking for I could hear in his voice. It was almost a year process but I never had to worry. Steven took care of everything, told me when I needed to be there and fought for me. It is with great pleasure and honesty to write such a wonderful story about Atty., Ian Keefe and Atty., Sam Goldberg. Our entire family was turned upside down on November 16, 2012. In the summer go 2016 I was hit while making a left turn when the other driver tried to beat a red light. I was driving a brand new Volvo sedan the dealership loaned me while my car was in the shop.
She was driving an SUV, accelerated through the intersection and T-boned me.It was her fault, she admitted it right away and was all apologies and concerned.
The Volvo was totaled, and I was banged up pretty bad.
I went to Altman & Altman and met with Anthony. He was great. He saw it was going to be complicated since I was driving a loaner & 3 insurance companies involved. It was never going to be a big settlement, my injuries were not severe, but they took my case anyway.
Almost a year later and suddenly the other driver's Insurance company decided we were both at fault, and my Insurance company didn't blink. I was very upset, because she was at fault and had even admitted it. And so was my attorney!

This is where Anthony, and then Justin, who took over my case, really came through for me.
They assured me they were in this fight with me on principle, and stuck with me. Justin was awesome over the next 2 1/2 years slogging through depositions and 3 canceled court dates. I honestly think other firms would have said it's not worth it to continue, as it dragged on. Justin stood by me and fought the good fight, until finally the other insurance company settled.He never made me feel like my case was not worth the time.
The fact that they stood by me, and didn't waver meant a lot. I highly recommend this firm. I was treated with compassion and respect throughout.

Steven Goldwyn was a true professional. My roommate and I had some pretty steep charges we were faced with. 1 Felony account of assault and battery with a deadly weapon. A lot of lawyers promised me that they could help me during my hard time but I am glad I took my time to go to Altman I worked with David. I had a very poor experience. I have an issue with my sublease and I looked them up on Google and they had 5/5 so I went to their chat option and explained my case for 15 minutes typing. And then a spokesperson on the other side told me that someone will reach out to me asap for consultation and I never heard back from anyone. I needed advice on a DCF corruption case , the secretary was not oriented at all what the farm is doing she got a guy on a phone after he heard DCF corruption he said mam we dont do cases like that I asked him why ? he had no answer, he repeat we just dont do this kind of cases, what king ?
