They have provided great work for the community for a very long time.
Sitting at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick eating lunch. . I see this van out the window and 2 ladies putting a seriously disabled boy in a wheelchair in the van. As they pushed him up the ramp into the van, his head was tilted to the side and they hit it on the side of the van 3-4 times. Once they got him in, and where securing him, he was sitting in the wheelchair with his head slouched down. They grabbed him by the head multiple times and forcibly kept pushing his head back to make him sit up straight. I understand this person was handicapped and they need to get him secure but they did not need to handle a person this way. They could have had a little passion about it and treated him a little more humanely. God bless this boy. And for all of you without a handicap, be thankful for the life you have. This happened at 12:30pm at RWJ New Brunswick on the cafeteria side (I believe on the somerset street side of the building). Shame on this company for putting on such a disgusting display of affection in front of many people.
I found Alternatives to be unprofessional and uncomfortable. I had a second interview with Mimi from a Group Home in Somerset..She was rude and obnoxious, and was bothered because I was hearing impaired. She asked me to be specific and when I did she responded by distorting her face and informing me that she didn't care. Huh? The home appeared as cold as Mimi and when asked about building team morale she appeared confused on how to set up a time amicable to all staff.. I couldn't wait to leave. Sad
Met with two clinicians completed treatment plan update
The woman that helped us was nice. We are now waiting for placement.
Certain management can't and don't know how to do their job. They treat you badly, definitely play favoritism. your peers will definitely stab you in the back every chance they get.
Horrible place to work at. They treat you like dirty if you're not in their click.
Excellent organization to work for and to have your developmentally disabled loved one to be apart of. They offer other services for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. They have the Franklin house and other programs for mothers and their children. They are hiring, so check them out!
Great place to take your First Aid/ CPR classes. They have varied hours and they are affordable 40.00 per person for a five hour class
Horrible place to work for they spend the clients money amongst a bunch of other things that I can say stay away
