The absolute best hospital, very warm and welcoming. Every single person is friendly, we were just walked to C clinic by a complete stranger. There are activities for the children, while they are waiting to be seen, in every area. They are miracle workers

I had a tour of the hospital and pavilion. This organization is full of class and care.
For those that don't know, St Jude's Children's Hospital shares all of it's discoveries the world over and doesn't charge for this information. This is consistent with it's core mission of saving lives. Thousands around the world have been positively affected by this information sharing without ever coming in contact with SJCH.
The people who work here are passionate about helping kids heal and stay as comfortable as possible during their treatment! I met a couple of dozen people that work or volunteer here. All of them were energized by the SJCH mission. It was refreshing to encounter so many people that feel they are where they should be. Several of them have been working here for 20+ years!
I encourage support in materials, time, or money donations to St Jude Children's Hospital whenever possible. The work they do is amazing.

The place is a dream come true! We love St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. No family pays for care; all they have to do is worry about being there for their child. Top notch care for child fighting catastrophic diseases! This is my favorite charity!!!

Great hospital. My daughter was 2 1/2 when she was diagnosed with leukemia. We were sent there and had 2 1/2 years of treatment. She is now a healthy 21 year old. St Jude saved her life! She is now A part of there adult study of which follows up on them and possible long term side effects (she so far has none) she will be there in July. Always great to go because in a way it's like going home.

I am Cuban living in this country and I am sensitized to your work, I am glad to know that there are institutions like you that with your best efforts alleviate the problems of so many sick children. I would like to collaborate with you to help and work in that sublime task
I have a brother who specializes in Child Neurosurgery and who is currently not allowed to work because his degree from my country does not work here? My question does not have a program or facility for him to support this much-needed work please my email: vivian.mar1966@gmail.com
I am a professional in another subject but I would also like to prepare myself to help with the children who need it so much
Very grateful for your attention

Hi.St Jude,

Hi.St Jude,
I want to share our family s sad true story here about my nephew ( he is 2.5 years old, and he is living in China.)
. He has Retinoblastoma, and we recently found out. After we found it out, the whole family collapsed. My daughter and I quickly did the research and tried to help them to find a good hospital for the treatment for him. Then we found St Jude and it gave us a lot of optimistic hope. So we started to contact the referral office and tried to get this little guy to come to the United States to get the best treatment. From the qualifications that St Jude shows online : one of the qualifications is : St Jude doesn t not accept any kid who has already had any treatment in your original country or location! But as a overseas child, you will face a visa process, so it takes time , how can we just wait for a about a month for the visa and doing nothing for his fatal disease. We must do something before we get the visa to come to the United States for his treatment. So we got a chance finally to write a letter to a doctor at St Jude. He gave us a heartbreak answer, which Basically, St Jude will not accept this kid for treatment in the United States IF the kid takes any treatment in China. We were so sad and disappointed. And have to choose to go to a hospital here in Guangzhou. the doctor have a the result that his right Eye is D and Left Eye is E. But nothing spread to any part of the body yet, so they did the first treatment to my nephew. ( I don t know how to explain the way they used to treat my nephew: I will try to translate it this way: interventional therapy, maybe I am wrong, but let me try again: the doctor used a way to let the medicine just go to the eye , not the whole body . ) , they told us, at least 4 times so far, the high , high, high, treatment fee has already shocked the whole family. They are a poor family, father is a bus driver, mother doesn t not have a job, they have another child too. they don t know how to deal the rest of the treatment for my nephew. They don t know how the kid s treatment will go on.... when we found St Jude, we were so excited we thought this kid would be treated and saved , this kid would have a hope , his family would have hope. Because St Jude told us we will safe children s eyes not cut the eyes off.
Tell me please, can my nephew still come to St Jude for the treatment since the tumors have not spread out any other parts of his body yet???? Visas to go to the United States for my nephew and his father are still in the process. We don t want to give up, please.
We are hoping that an official person from St Jude will answer the questions and please help this kid , please, please, please!!! He is only 2 .5 years old.......
Ps: I really don t want to give bad review about St Jude . so please help me to understand I give it wrong!

I have loved visiting St. Jude's wonderful campus over the years to actually witness the hospital's tremendous growth and the numbers of patients that are treated every day. The grounds have changed so much over the years. I wish I could visit more often.

U guys said u never turn away a child but I just read a story about a little boy named elliah maineville that y'all did turn him away for treatment. So I would never donate to y'all. Y'all lie in your adds & commercials. Lie lie lie. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself. Maybe if you wouldn't of turned him away. He would still be alive. Shame on u

As a patient, I can easily vouch for the wonders performed at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Hospitals seem to have a desolate gloomy feel about them, but St. Jude's halls are only filled with life, happiness, and hope. The amazing doctors and nurses do whatever is needed for the patient. As a patient I had a tailored chemotherapy plan that quickly put me in remission. They provide whatever is needed for the families as well including housing and food. It's such a wonderful place, full of life and color.

St. Jude s recently sent me a letter asking me for money. Normally I would give them some of my money but something caught my eye. They called me a Mr when I have always been, and always will be a woman. I know that this is a good cause but until they get my birthright title (Ms) they will get none of my money.

They successfully treated my ALL. Truly an amazing & magical place. The staff, environment, care, vibes, even aesthetics & technology are all second to none I ve ever seen or heard of. Wish I could afford to donate millions.

Hello two months ago I was diagnosed with my daughter with Burkkin lymphoma, she already has two high dose sections, the latter has put me very badly, they are doing studies to see if it is part of chemotherapy. I feel very worried because I don't know if It may be that the cancer is taking more or are the high doses of chemo that has them so and if she can resist the other sections I am very distressed.

An amazing hospital with an amazing mission, however ALSAC is a terrible place to work at. They do not deal with issue in the work place and instead fire you. I spoke to a person in leadership about an employee putting her hands on me and purposely sabotaging my work and instead of fixing the problem they fired me because I was a temp. That is unacceptable. Terrible place and I will make sure I bring light to it because I have the paperwork to prove it.

St.Jude is the BEST hospital in the US. I love the care and service our family received during my child's treatment for cancer. Best thing we will never have to worry about the medical debt our insurance didn't cover, which is well over a million dollars.
