The most AMAZING Hospital in the World. I owe you my life. Words do NOT do this place justice. It is beyond anything you could imagine a hospital to be, sweet, caring, a staff that loves to show concern and empathy. No other hospital holds a candle to it. Patient # 18630

My 5 yr old son was just admitted early Wednesday ...

My 5 yr old son was just admitted early Wednesday morning and diagnosed with A.L.L T-CELL Leukemia.
He was misdiagnosed at the end of January with cat scratch fever back in our home state of Missouri. The doctor in Missouri said it may take a month for his lymph nodes to shrink, but I noticed them enlarging 2 weeks after his diagnosis. I got him into his pediatrician and she ordered a White blood cell count and a cat scratch fever test.
Needless to say cat scratch fever was negative and his WBC count was very high. I was sent to mercy hospital oncology to have my son tested and they diagnosed him there and gave us 3 locations to take our son. It was either st. Louis, Kansas city or St. Jude in Memphis. Without hesitation I looked st my husband and said St. Jude! My family has been a long time supporter of St. Jude hospital. Since we've been here, we've had the best care. My son's doctor, nurses, and the other staff here have been top notch!
My son's doctor ran everything by us telling us what treatment he felt would help our son and his chances of beating this cancer. He listened to our questions and concerns. At first our son seemed resilient to the treatment, and his WBC count continued to rise. His doctor acted quick to fight harder and my son's condition started to change for the better! Thank you St. Jude! We are here for a long time and I know it's going to be a long road ahead. My husband, our other children and myself are thankful you will be with us each step of the way.

Donated to them once. Ever since then I get constantly spammed and apparently my contact data has been sold. Absolutely incredible unprofessional and I am super disappointed that such a institute such as St. Jude is so incredible scammy.

I had APL when I was 5 years old. They saved me. I was one of those clinical drug trails, that actually worked. I have so many happy memories there its like my second home honestly even thought I haven't gotten to go there in years. I'm now 20 though and working in the medical field. Thanks to all the staff for everything they have ever done for not just myself but for every patient/ parent/ friend they come into contact with. They are truly a blessing.

Amazing hospital . Been living in housing for 9 months. They have been a godsend for us. I couldn t ask for a better hospital experience. Housing needs to step their game up. It sucks to have to move from Tri Delta to Target House, back to Tri Delta because of a week break in appointments. Other than that- astounding!

My experience of Saint Jude goes back over 45 year...

My experience of Saint Jude goes back over 45 years ago with Mr Thomas. We lived in a very remote ranch in Australia, my mother would sit me on her lap and we would watch a recorded Danny Thomas show. I knew then he wasn't just an entertainer but a really nice bloke, other wise my mum wouldn't have said Danny Thomas was heaven sent at the end of every show.
I arrived in the USA to find out St Judes has helped so many families & children stay United. I still love the guy and wished I could have shaked his hand or pat him on the back. Good bless the staff and children at Saint Judes and the Thomas family

It's wonderful that you can give blood and platelets here at St. Jude and help some of the little ones survive and be healed in time. One of my favorite things is to come here and visit with the nurses and donate platelets. If you volunteer, try to convince a friend to come along also. It's quite an experience because you can go into the main facility later, where they have the Kay restaurant and have a plate of food and a cup of coffee. Love st. Jude's.

My son Guilherme spent 2 years hospitalized with acute myeloid leukemia.
Now after 27 years he is perfectly fine.
The competence, humanity that this Hospital has is something indescribable, and as for the professionals, they are to be admired.
We just have to be thankful for all that they have done for my family during all our lives.

One of the security supervisors, I believe her name is officer Dishman, is so rude and so prideful. I've never met anyone who thought they knew so much, but could only do so little. She really thinks she is something. Maybe just maybe some day I'll be something too.
