The summer camp advertised STEAM camp which prompted me to sign up my daughter. The summer camp was falsely advertised. There was no daily STEAM activities, $125/ week to play. The staff indicated STEAM took place twice a week, but this was not evident. Staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of children, hollered at the children in which my daughter was not accustomed to teachers yelling due to her prior school experience, scared her so much she urinated on herself in fear to ask if she could go to the restroom. I gave them a chance after a few weeks of red flags, wasn't worth it. Next time, first impression will be taken at face value. Where is the youth development and social responsibility commitment? NONE
I am appalled with the entire setup and WILL NOT and DO NOT RECOMMEND this camp unless you want your child to play all day every day at a weekly expense.
now to learn the Y is part of the Shelby county school system before and after school program has me making work schedule adjustments because of the poor experience I had with the summer camp. I enjoy the gym, but the "school experience" has GOT TO DO BETTER and BE BETTER. This is our future for heaven's sake.

Crooked and shady people. They are debiting accounts for membership fees even though they are currently not in business - and they won't answer questions about it.
