Alpine Aire Heating & Cooling Inc. Review

I have had a service contract with them for at least 3 years now. They have done excellent work and service. They make things right and make sure my system works every time.

I got a quick response and a quick fix at a time when temperature was climbing quickly-inside my house and out.

Having bough a 20 year old home last year in Wenatchee, I expected to have to have repairs done over time on my home. Never did I plan on having my HVAC system go completely out but it happened. I contacted Tracy at Alpine air and we started the entire process of verifying the needs of my system. The original tech that came out was extremely knowledgeable and straight forward. I was given options from repair all the way to a complete new system. The next step was with Steve in the sales end of Alpines business and Steve also gave me options from basic to absolutely fantastic option. Professional service and fair $$$ value is what I got with the entire process with Alpine. I bought an entirely new system and feel I got MORE than my dollars worth with all the professional treatment by ALL the employees of Alpine I dealt with. 5 STAR service and I will be a customer for life based on my one and only experience. Our wall unit went kaput during this week's 102+ degree weather. Tracy in the service department was very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient in helping me determine what I needed to do in order to have air conditioning ASAP. Vic was professional, courteous and definitely an expert in his field. Favian(sp?) was on time, friendly and efficient in the installation even with a couple little hiccups. I highly recommend Alpine Aire for your HVAC needs!

We had a whole house system installed In a 100+ year old home. It was not easy but the work was all done professionally and without complaint. They also worked with us to get a system that we could afford and it has made our home MUCH more comfortable to live in!

I had new a new heat pump and furnace installed by Alpine Aire in July. My previous system was 20 years old and the heat pump was shot, deemed needing a new compressor, it's second.
The salesman was prompt about getting the information and 3 quotes and options for a new system. The quotes were more than competitive with others sought.
I have waited until now to write the review to allow for the unit to work both cooling and heating season and also for a technician to follow-up with their included check up service.
I am a union member and I have to say that the installers, Ben and Tony did quality Journeyman work. They answered my questions and concerns politely and professionally. I am very pleased with the installation and how it is working.
Recently a technician, Ryan came to check the system on a included courteousy call . He also was professional about performing the necessary tests and answering my questions.
In all, all the work performed and all the staff have been a pleasure to do business with.

We have lived in our home for 26 years and have never had a problem with our heating system...until this winter when we woke up to a FREEZING house! We called Alpine Aire and they responded quickly and professionally. Tony(service tech) was thorough at diagnosing the problem and quick to fix the bad thermostat. He was also very neat while changing it out and did not leave a mess for me to clean up. He also wore booties as to not make a mess on my floors by tracking in snow. Very impressed with the service and will definitely call Alpine Aire in the future to take care of our HVAC! Thank you Tom and gang...so nice to deal with Professionals!

Installed our split-level heat pump system in 2014, compressed into a small space - very competent, adaptive, thorough, hard working, and affable. We have continued with their twice/year maintenance plan, and appreciate both their technical and communicative skills. They have been focused on dependable, properly priced, quality work.

I appreciated that Tony was very conscientious in his actions during the maintenance visit for my heat pump. In these days where we are practicing social distance he wore gloves and also wiped down all door knobs and thermostat etc. Tony was courteous and did a thorough inspection of the units with recommendations. I had our system maintenance performed yesterday by Alpine Aire. I have always had excellent performance from this Carrier unit I bought about 10 yrs ago, and I feel I owe a lot of credit to Alpine Aire service dept. for that. Yesterday was no exception. Maxx. the service tech who I have not had out here before did a great job. Clean, professional, on time, communicated clearly to me (that we'd passed the test again).. just a great experience! Alpine has always had a fantastic service staff, and I will continue to refer them at every opportunity. Feel free to share this review as you like.

We built a new home in Leavenworth, which took 15 months and was finished in January 2018. Alpine Aire did such a great job helping us determine the system we needed and installing it. So pleased with Tom (the owner) and his whole crew, and the finished product. Good people!

I needed the motor in my furnace replaced recently and Alpine was able to come out 90 minutes after I called and they diagnosed the problem and replaced the motor in an hour. Very friendly technician and easy to handle process, including getting the quote and paying quickly. Overall a great experience.

110 out side and Aircon quit. Panic with guests staying with us for the night. Around 9 pm I called and was informed a service person would be dispatched right away. Joe arrives 10 to 20 min later and fixes the problem and departs. guests don't leave and the party carried on.

Favian came out to the shop when our filter froze over, he repaired the unit and was very nice and professional. 10/10 would recommend!! This is the second time he has been the one dispatched to our location and he delivered high quality customer service both times!!

I was impressed with their process of quoting. I hired them to install an entire system. They did it in 2 days, only a couple hiccups that they took care of fast and easy. We ve had the system for 4 months or so and it s working great.

The technician "Ryan" was extremely professional and explained everything as he did his diagnostics to find the solution to our fireplace not working. I would highly recommend this company. I have no doubts we will continue to use them.

Ryan was my technician and did an absolutely amazing job of diagnosing, solving and explaining the inner workings of the HVAC unit to me as I am a new home owner and had not a clue what to do. The entire appointment took about 45 minutes and resolved! ALSO, this company offers a VIP membership for future maintenance and repair. Too good of an idea and deal not to sign on and won't have to worry about elderly parents in summer heatwaves. Great service and great job Ryan!!!

Ryan and Steve came out to complete maintenance on my system as well as change out the electronic air cleaner. This was quite the undertaking, it required quite a bit of thought and care. The old EAC was at the bottom of the furnace so they had to lift and suspend the furnace in order to replace with the new EAC. They did an amazing job and left the area as clean or cleaner than before they started. The new EAC is working very well and I am very happy with the amazing job they did. I can't thank Ryan & Steve enough for the work they did and the peace of mind it brings. Also, shout out to Brandon for devising such a great plan! Bravo guys !!!

My gas fireplace quit working, so I called around. Nobody would work on a Lennox fireplace, but after three calls to three different places I hit the jackpot. Not only would they work on my fireplace, but they showed up the very next day, even calling to see if they could come earlier than their scheduled time. Alvaro (the tech who came to my home) spent almost three hours cleaning the fireplace and replacing old, worn out, and broken parts. He thoroughly tested everything and made sure it was all in working order before he walked out my door. Alvaro was friendly and patient, answering my questions with respect and in terms I could understand. I would highly recommend this company and will use them exclusively for my gas fireplace needs in the future. Well done, Alpine Aire and Alvaro!

I just had a service call from Alpine Aire. The service technician was Joe Swan, and he was terrific! He arrived early was very polite and knew his stuff! I am pleased with his service.

Had a heat pump installed in a previously unseated garage. Alpine came out and evaluated our situation and got a new unit installed relatively quickly, and it s great! Everyone we ve dealt with at Alpine have been friendly, competent and efficient.

When our AC went out we called and spoke to Nate who was able to get a technician to come out the very next day despite it being a very busy time of year for them. Our technician Tony was super nice. He diagnosed and resolved the issue accurately and efficiently. Thank you Alpineaire for all your help!

Steve came out to my house at the time promised and got right to work. My furnace needed wires replaced, that were fried. Within a couple of hours he had everything up and running again and we had heat. Steve was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Thank you Alpine Air. You ve gained a repeat customer!

Excellent Heating/AC products along with installation and service followup. I could not ask for a better experience.

We used them for the first time when our heat pump went out during 105 degree days. They came when they said they would and got us up and running again in about an hour. Tony (service tech) was truly awesome. From now on they will be the ones we call for all of our heat/air conditioning problems.

Stephen Lange has been a great help in the installation of our new furnace/heat pump and follow up of the installation. Stephen is the one person we will request for future problems and solutions.

The owner is absolutely dishonest and rude! They didn t fix our ac and charged us. I tried negotiating to see if they would either come out make things right or Lowe our bill but instead he was a bully and tried to talk over me the whole time!

Called for service on my inside unit because the fan would not turn on.
2 technicians showed up and worked on the unit for about 3 hours. They left with my unit still not working. They told me to call the next morning and they would be back out to finish. I called the next day around 930am and was told by the lady on the phone that i should have called earlier. They didnt have time to come back to finish the job and i would have to wait till Monday. It was Friday morning when i call so they were not going to come back for 3 days. I never call back Monday because i though this was rude and unprofessional. A week later i got a bill for over $900!!!
The technicians replaced most the parts inside my unit without my knowledge. If i would have been informed of all the prices and parts they needed to replace I wouldnt have had them replace them. Again unprofessional. The last item the checked just before leaving was my thermostat. They found it had no power. Once they got power to my thermostat they could jumper the power and make the fan turn on but not the AC or heater. I went out and bought a new thermostat and wired it in and boom worked fine. The fact that they checked the thermostat last and that it was most likely the problem all along and not all the parts inside the unit makes it strike three for Unprofessional. NEVER will I call them again and NEVER will I recommend them to anyone I know.

WE HAVE BEEN USING ALPINE AIRE HEATING & COOLING SERVICES FOR 3 YEARS NOW, TWICE A YEAR,, ONCE IN EARLY SPRING AND ONCE AGAIN IN THE FALL. WE WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR SERVICES AS WE FEEL THERE, WE ARE GETTING THE BIGGEST BANG FOR OUR BUCKS...

With 85+ temps in Leavenworth, friends at our condo for the week reported on Sunday that the heat pump wasn't cooling. Inside temp was 86 degrees. I have no resources for HVAC repair in the Leavenworth area, as we live on the other side, so I searched and found Alpine Aire. I called, got an actual person, and my call was returned quickly. Within minutes!! Steve said he'd restock his truck and head to the condo. I didn't want my guests to swelter all night and be miserable. He was there, did the repair, replaced the part and set the thermostat to cool properly! All said and done within a couple of hours, problem solved. I couldn't be more pleased! Alpine Air is my go-to HVAC company for our maintenance and repair! One happy camper and a couple happy guests!

Nathan and Bill were the contacts for the replacement and repair of our old air condition at Icicle Ridge Winery. The replacement was done on time and tons of customer service was provided in explaining when and what was happening. Highly recommend the business to anyone here in the Wenatchee Valley. Fast and affordable. Same day service in the summer!

I'm on an annual plan for my home and a rental where they check my system each spring and fall so I'm cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold! I love that they keep an eye on the system at my rental house, and if I should have an issue I get priority service as part of the annual plan.

I was very happy with my experience from a maintenance visit. I appreciate how Ryan the technician was both professional and careful with my aging furnace. I know l can trust Alpine Aire when it's time for a new furnace.

The great folks at Alpine Aire go the extra mile to make sure your system meets and exceeds your expectations. Does every job succeed with out a problem, no but every job is done and fixed to the customers satisfaction. Isn't that what its all about? Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Good service and communication regarding issues with the system, and billing questions. No expectations set regarding cost of repair, which ended up over $800 for a simple pipe leak repair. STRONGLY RECOMMEND you get a full quote in advance for any service, or you will pay a high, uncompetitive price. Be sure to ask about trip charges, and double-billing of time during regular hours. Overall, happy with the service, but not at the price that was paid.

Highly recommend Alpine Air! The crew arrived on time and were so professional! It was a very hard job in a tiny little closet but Bill and Antonio got it done in one day. A comically bad experience but I kept cutting them slack until their most recent visit. My unit goes down and tech tells me on Thursday fan needed to replaced and they could handle it no problem - lots of openings and they'll call me next week! I call 4 days later and they haven't even looked at his report to try and find an opening, now maybe Wednesday if I'm lucky? And the bill is enormous, $560 when the part was still under warranty?? So I call Central Washington Heating and Cooling and explain the issue - $160 and they came out and fixed it right away. Save time and don't waste your time/money with these guys, you're just going to regret it.

We use Alpine Aire for all of our heating and air conditioning needs. They take care of our employee housing, as well as our personal home. They have always been quick to respond to our repair needs. We were the most impressed when our home unit went our last summer. We returned from vacation to find two inches of ice on our coils and the house 95 degrees. They came the next day and did an evaluation. We received three options for replacement. They gave us a portable unit to use in our bedroom so we could sleep until our unit was put in. Their technicians were courteous and knowledgeable.

Have had excellent service from this local company for our furnace, heat pump and gas fireplace. They are quick to respond from the initial contact through the service technicians arriving to your home. They follow through with inquiries needed to obtain parts and the workmanship of their technicians is top notch. They are our GO TO when we need any HVAC work done!

We were tremendous pleased with the service we received!!! Nathan and the techs that came to our house were very personable and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done well. After having a new heating/AC unit put in and the duct system cleaned, we realized how bad the air quality was. Complete rip-off!!! $89 for 'diagnostic' fee, to take 4 minutes to tell me unit needed a coolant charge. Then $180 to charge it PLUS $ 50 a pound for coolant!!!

RIP-OFF!!!!!!

Others in town charge $90 an hour and $20-30 a pound, and no 'diagnostic fee'.

Just had our HVAC installed by Alpine Aire and boy! They were fabulous with their workmanship and courtesy during the whole installation process. In addition they even helped with working out the costs and payment options.
After living with the system for a week in an older home we can see the improvement to the air quality with all the smoke we've had in the past month, and of course, the coolness of the system. It even allows control with my smartphone. A great experience!

Alpine Aire has installed air conditioning in two of my houses and has maintained my heating system for years. I am very happy with the service I received as well as the value. Having kids, another nice point was that the guys that came to do the work were very polite and made me feel very comfortable with them in the house. I'll call them whenever I need another system and for all my regular maintenance.

We had Alpine Aire come out to repair our American Standard unit that is only 2 years old. The technician came out and had to make several phone calls to figure out what to do. I wish he had been honest and just said he didn't know much about the system. We were immediately sent a $250. bill for a 30 min visit. It didn't even work a week and the same problem was still happening! I contacted them and didn't receive a call back. After calling again, I talked to the owner that basically said that I would be paying the bill anyway! I mentioned that I would like them to come out and fix the problem and not get charged again or find someone who can fix it and he proceeded to argue and talk over me the entire time. OVERALL they did not fix our issue and now I am stuck with a large bill for nothing. I am writing this poor review and will be reporting them as well.

I worked at Alpine Aire for 3.5 years. I appreciated having owners that understood my needs and always tried their best to accommodate. Throughout the years I've had in depth training classes on new products, technology, air flow problems, etc, on a weekly basis. I have had a master technician that always answers his phone. Coworkers with knowledge to make sure things are correct the first time. HVAC work isn't always easy but it's rewarding when I'm that guy who can save the day. I wish the best to the Ross family.
