Horrible hotel that seems like it may have been great at one time, but has fallen to neglect over a decade or so. Sleep number beds were non operational, and left on the hardest setting possible. Hair shavings left in the sink, fan in bathroom didn't work, paint missing on parts of the wall, holes in the carpet, and the TV sounded as if the speaker was all but blown out. Avoid unless it is the difference between sleeping on the street or not. Luckily we only had to do this for one night.
Oh and since the owners defense on here seems to be denying the guest stayed there, here is my booking through Travelocity
The location is fantastic and the pricing on the rooms is very reasonable
Sleep number beds didn't work, water leak in the carpet, cable went out, breakfast offered was weak and the bath tub faucet continually leaked.
The most horrible experience I have ever encounter to check in to check out. I would never stay here AGAIN ! BED BUGS AT ITS FINEST !!!! BED BUGS
We decided to stay here after making a spur of the moment trip to Universal. I will say this is not my favorite place to stay. The bed was was so so (not super comfortable but doable after being at the parks all day). The shower was TERRIBLE. The room was big. However, there were holes in the sheets and the "pull out couch" was disgusting. Neither of us would even sit on it. The overall appearance of the hotel was about tacky, and parking was rough. Staff were not super friendly at check-in.
I could just be spoiled due to the fact that we always stay at Holiday Inn Express, but if it was a dire emergency and we needed a place to stay, we would probably choose this place over a motel.
Slow elevators, had to take the stairs. Seemed like everyone was doing drugs in the parking lot, elevator, stairwell...moved my family out after 1 night. Don't even bother to stay here unless you are looking to score!
Place is a joke. The website says place credit card on hold until check in. Check in is 4pm-12am ..They billed my card without me checking in and it declined, but instead of calling or email , nothing. So at 1030 pm, I have no room. Thanks to Expedia , they found me a room. This place is a joke.
I can't in any way recommend this place. Old, dirty, broken down and piecemealed together, it's like the hotel just decided that "bad" was going to be good enough. I got a great deal on the room though Expedia, and I still feel like I overpayed. Didn't have towels or washclothes in my room, bathtub faucet leaking, and bed and carpet looked like they were last cleaned in the 1970's.
In conclusion, just stay somewhere else. Even a cheap motel would give you a better experience.
Older hotel. Fairly clean, but definitely worn down.
This is actually the first review I ve ever written....this is your warning. This is by far the worst hotel I ve stayed in. The sheets and blanket were filthy, and appeared to be stained with blood. I called and politely requested new sheets and blankets and was told that housekeeping would bring them up to my room. After waiting 45 min and after making 4 additional calls, I was told that housekeeping ran out of clean blankets. Unbelievable!!! I m certain this is a practice of this establishment due to the sheet looking clean at first glance. Once we unwrapped the sheet from around the blanket, that s when the blood stains on the blanket revealed. It s worth spending a little extra to stay at a better hotel than to unknowingly lay face down in someone else s body fluids.
I cannot find ANYTHING good to say about that nightmare of an experience. Not one thing pleasant from checking in to checking out. I unfortunately prepaid before arriving and was trying desperately to find something decent. Locale that's about it. I thought I was about to be the next victim on C.S.I. #dirtyrooms #brokentv #prehistoricpillows #russianhookerhostel
A ok hotel the location is great and the room was big. And it had a 50ich tv with premium channels, the down falls the towels smelt like vinigar and it looks like the maintenance guy is on vacation cause you could find small problems like a leaking faucet, and sleep number beds that don't work anymore
Such a horrible place. So much worse service than 1 star motel. All of elevators have been broken down whole week. It was so painful to climbing up and down to 5th floor. Houses keepers are taking all the towels right after noon time, but never get the towels back til late night every day. What the person at the front desk said was he can argue with me all night, but nothing is gonna change. If you call the front desk, they don't pick up. Keep calling and calling finally someone picks up, as soon as you make any complaints, they hang up on you. They just have "we already got the money, if you don't want to stay here, good luck with that." Kind of attitude. I am not going to visit this place ever again. The worst place I've ever visited in my whole life.
The hotel service is terrible, the free continental breakfast was a joke, I bet in jail you get better food. I asked for pool towels and waited for them about 25 min. Now, lets talk about the pool. There are barley any lounge chairs snd the few that are there are broken and can not be used. The hot tub was under construction. The bathroom in lobby had to be closed down because it was raining more in the bathroom than outside. My room was good but i was on the new side of the building. As I waited for the towels I observed many others complaining about their rooms and some had been changed from rooms serveral times. Oh, almost forgot elevator was also broken! Overall, place sucked would not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy.
The rooms were quite old and there were cockroaches all the time. Staff however tried to remove them when we asked for it. Location was perfect, right near the iDrive. Staff was also friendly.
This was my worst experience at a hotel ever. The front desk staff were rude and uninformed about how to complete simple tasks. Unable to do almost anything but a standard check in without calling a manager. I showed up after midnight so they told me I was late and they were sold out so I couldn't stay. After arguing they called over a manager who said he would find me a room. He did so I thought my troubles were over. One step into the room and I was almost knocked back by the strong stench of body odor. Smelled like a high school football locker room. There was a screw on the floor and the floor was generally dirty. We were extremely tired so we stayed the night anyways and cancelled the rest of the stay the next morning. We found a much better hotel for cheaper! Of course canceling was a hassle requiring input from three staff because the manager wasn't there. 5 days later the refund has not yet showed up. Do not go!
The hotel has espacious rooms and full amenities. For the price it is a good choice.
The room is smelly and it took 30 minutes to get towels!!! I had to walk downstairs and get them myself. The room was $100 and I guess you get what you pay for!
Nice hotel, big rooms. They should really put more towels in the room and the pool is a bit run down, other than that great location and staff.
Very bad hotel , no good I'm very surprised cause this hotel looks like town motel ,, nothing work machine ice not work, room not clean , they charged very expensive and the hotel is one star .. recepcionist never answer , towels very old , I paid 280 dollars night for bad hotel , I'm very desapioned , I'm very sad
Extremely dirty walls especially next to the toilet and the whole bathroom, shower curtain... We had room service but she didn't clean it up. Shower head wasn't working the water was only dripping, overall we had a horrible stay in this hotel, we asked a partial refund but they didn't even care...
I'm not a criticizer and I'm using hotels a lot but this hotel stay was really terrible.
The good: easy check-in, good nightly rates, great bartender in the adjacent bar & grill (kelly) clean rooms, upgraded bathrooms with tile and basic amenities. Very quiet at night.
The bad: housekeeping. Forgot to give us washcloths, didn't replace toilet paper, substandard cleaning. Pool was not very clean, no pool towels. Sleep number beds were different. Press and hold the buttons to adjust comfort.
The ugly: advertised hot tub was roped off, dirty and unavailable.
It was cold in Orlando so having the ability to use the YMCA indoor pool was nice. The hotel was decent though. Cheap, close to everything and clean.
Had a really good time at this place. Good price. Great costumer service. Clean rooms. Many amenities. Close by to EVERYTHING lol. Couldn't be happier.
Horrible. Musty smell, bathroom ceiling fan cover fell off. Toilet kept running. I was excited that they have select comfort adjustable mattresses..... But they didnt work and were overfilled making it uncomfortable.
Service was okay and the room was big but the public areas besides the lobby weren't very clean. The complimentary continental breakfast consisted of only toast, bagels, and pastries which quickly ran out. We got a discount from expedia, but otherwise it was nothing special for the price.
Although it was underneath construction which is understandable the place was disgusting stains on the floor the management was absolutely rude for a non-smoking resort my room smal like smoke and I left the same day I checked in I will never go there again they almost ruined my whole vacation
I dont usually leave reviews unless my experience is excellent or if it is just down right terrible. The price of the hotel is what lures you in but then in fine print there is a daily resort fee, for what? It doesn't include anything but headache! First, the check in was unorganized and a mess! They are trying to run 2 hotels at one front desk. Computers were not working, they couldn't find my reservation. I had to see 4 different workers at different computers bc they either couldn't find my reservation or the system that could find it couldn't accept credit card payment. Well, I wasn't going to pay cash after an Individual before me complained about their credit card being charged and they paid cash. While I waited to be checked in I witnessed a room being assigned that already had guests. A guest came down to complain about someone already being in their room.
Finally, the system worked and I was checked in or so I thought. They assigned me the wrong room so I brought it up and the worker verified with the manager who said I did not book a deluxe king corner room. Thankfully I had my reservation and was able to show proof I did. Well, the deluxe corner room wasn't ready and it was around 4 so trying to be patient, I said I would go get dinner to give them time to have the room ready. When I returned, the room was ready but the room smelled, no circulation, and the room was 75 degrees! I thought, maybe I need to let the air run for a little so I turned it down to 60's. Well, after an hour and the temp not going down I went down to complain. Had to wait in the forever line again (remember, they are checking ppl in for 2 hotels at one desk). I will say, maintenance was quick to respond and did fix the air issue and that helped to remedy the odor/lack of circulation. But it doesn't stop there. The elevator's are pretty scary (seems sketchy and not sure they are safe/maintained). I was on the 7th floor but I refused to take the elevator that I took the stairs up and down everytime. You have to ask the front desk for the license/inspection bc it isn't in the elevator. The directions for the safe were wrong but I was able to figure it out. It worked until the night I had to pack to leave the next day The safe would NOT open. I called the front desk several times and no one answered!! I had to again go downstairs (yup, stairs again) to get maintenance to assist. Again, they were quick to respond but unfortunately, they had to break the safe and the next group going in the room would not have a safe available. It was just a lot to happen in one weekend. They should have at least comped the resort fee as it was not luxurious or enjoyable. I was very patient and respectful the whole time. Maybe that is where I went wrong.
Rooms where dirty with blood on the covers, front desk was rude and took forever ever to get my deposit back
I didn't like Nothing about the hotel. Hotel needs a lot of improvement dirty room no good breakfast no pool the pool is form VMCA I left something in the room call them and they said if washing there worse 3 day of my vacation with my family in this hotel
As I'm writing this it's my first night in the Allure resort hotel, I must say my first impressions are not that good the main light for the hall way is not working so I'm forced to turn on a lamp for light. Also the customer service is not the best either I tried contacting the desk many times to ask where the pool was located and they never picked up. Before that incident I was calling to see if breakfast was being served at the time I got there and I wasn't even greeted with "hi" or anything they just sighed and said no and immediately hung up, and in my room there is this weird stain on the carpet and I don't know what it is, before I mentioned how I had to turn on the lamp to get light, only one lamp works this is not okay, I will be adding a video of the light and a picture of the stain. Anyway this is
only my first night so I hope that all goes
well for the next 4 days.
Rooms full of cockroaches. The location is the best.
Dirty, trash all over the property, broken furniture in room. Advertised free breakfast but there was not. Not only will we not recommend but will actively steer people away from this dump.
Hotel is kinda dirty, dont even ask for towels it wont happen, extremly rude encounters from every staff member i came across i wouldnt reccomend this hotel
We really enjoyed our room and the location was great. Will stay here again.
It's being remodeled but the rooms are hugh and very clean.
Room smelt like sewage, which is the same way I would describe my experience here. Dirty place and rude staff. Suggest they change the name from "resort" to "motel".
Believe it or not this Is an excellent value. Spacious room, comfortable beds & big TV sounds good to me!!!
As always! Poorly managed. I had to stay here again because all other hotels were full. Wrong decision...next time just cancel vacations. Again, another bad experience. Did not get the room I book which was bigger and expensive because they were out of them (I had a reservation, so they must have oversold rooms maybe), instead I received a cheaper room but they charge me the amount for the bigger room. Staff did not bother to offer a credit, or do something for us to feel better. Just like last time, staff unprofessional with NO MANAGEMENT STUDIES OR EXPERIENCE. This hotel has potential, it is amazing to see that the board/owners don't see that with a simple staff change and training could turn around the life of this hotel. The way this hotel is managed its absolutely wrong.
My recommendation: stay here only if there is no other option and make sure you get a extremely good bargain!! Hopefully owner's/board see this message and take measurements. As I said, this hotel has potential.
It s under renovation and was not told of it. Beds were hard and girls at the front desk seemed aggravated with each other at check in. The rooms were clean and hotel was in a great location tho
Was great, has nice amenities, and the staff is very nice.
We have stayed in many hotels and suites in Orlando and this place was just as good if not better, and for the price we will be back many times.
I chose this hotel cause it had restaurant and bar on site but the never told me that they were under construction, other than that it was good
My experience after being here for maybe an hour:
After four room keys, I finally gave up for the night once I got one that works *maybe* 1/50 tries.
The "Bar" & Grill doesn't serve alcohol, despite having neon beer signs on the wall.
Had to walk back to the front desk again to get the wifi password as it's not listed in the information booklet in the room.
Also the front desk call button on the room phone doesn't work/is always busy.
Beds aren't exactly comfortable/wayy too firm for my liking but the sheets are clean at least.
Carpet stains.
Staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be.
The room was smelly, the lights were dim, the ac temp was wrong and didn't work much. And there's was words exchanged a lot about bed bugs and roaches
The room was not Bad, the TV and cable is like I went back to the stone age's, that definitely needs updating. The cleanliness of the establishment is questionable, I looked up in the lobby and wish I hadn't, the vents had black mold on them, and the air filter looked as though it had NEVER been cleaned. Trash stayed in the "one working" elevator for 2 days.
One last suggestion the side doors of the hotel has no assess for the patrons carrying a room key to go INSIDE the doors they are only exit ways. That is not fair giving us only one way into the building. The gift shop was absolute robbery!!!! The woman at the coffee shop in the morning was extremely pleasant along with the woman that would clean our room each day. The use of the YMCA gym was fantastic. Our stay was 4 days just to show we were there long enough to retrieve the rating in fairness.
Rooms are super clean. Sleep number beds. Staff is so nice. Haven't checked out the pool yet but heading there.
The room was really nice the location was nice beautiful there worked out at the gym definitely recommend the place
This is the worst hotel in Orlando does not even have free internet
Room didn't reserved and prepare properly when we check in
Ultimate disappointment. Absolutely filthy, stains on pillow cases (blood??), also on lamp shades, curtains...rust galore in garbages. Pool closed twice in 4 days (we had to pay to go elsewhere)...Advertised having a pool AND spa but the spa is filled with rocks and has grass growing over it. In all of the mishaps, the only compensation offered on our 9-night stay was a $6.00 breakfast voucher. Hands down, worst service I've ever seen. DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE!!
They need to take the word resort off their name...this Hotel is filthy, nasty, smelly and disgusting. they need to do a serious upgrade..
My family and I pulled up (12am) at the Hotel the check in and the line was out the door..on top of that you had another line where it was people complaining about the circumstances of the hotel...We get to the counter, they dont even have a room ready and this point its after 1am..so they give us the room number and no keys were issue due to the machine not working..So every time u left, a guard had to let u back in....We get to the room and the smell of the carpet is awful...Pull the sheets back and its blood stains in different spots. The mattress was hard as a brick..I never had to experience this type of poor service and a resort that runs bussiness this way..I wouldn't recommend no one stay here..All the negative comments are true..Experience this on sat July 21,2018...please dont waste your money here. The only good thing about this hotel is..its walking distance to everything on that street
Awful service and I have the pictures to prove my statement...if I figure how to post the pictures you can see it for yourself
I checked in the Hotel and first they gave me a room key and when I open the room to drop off my luggage there was people in that room laying on the bed. I went back to the front desk and told them what happened and they put me in a different room. I then went into the second room to find someone's hairs on the bed sheets and no towels in the bathroom. Again I go to the front desk and tell them the issues that the second room has no towels and someone's hair on the bed sheets and they tell me that the entire hotel room had no towels available and that housekeeping was gone for the day. There was numerous people complaining in the lobby about not having towels in the rooms. If they knew that there was no towels available in the entire hotel why not tell customers when they checked in at the hotel and give them the option to stay or find another hotel. Instead I went thru all the hassel of checking in and checking out and getting a refund. When I went online to book the reservation I reserved the room because they claim that the room was normally $179 and they had a sale for $70 so I taught that the the hotel was decent because of the rooms being normally $179 per night. The hotel was not worth the money very low class hotel. I also forgot to mention that when I checked my bank account online they had charged me twice for the room that I didn't stay in and didn't give me the refund. I had to call back the hotel 3 days later to argue with them so I could get my money back.
They gave us a room other than the one we asked for, and the rooms had leakage of water and refused to change it
This place is horrible! I've stayed in resorts multiple times and this place is not even close to being a resort. Rooms are dirty, elevators are slow, dirty and only one working. We had to ask for clean towels each day we stay. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL.
It was that bad the experience that I even wrote this comment and I never give any reviews to anyone.
The location is perfect to enjoy tourist activities that Orlando has to offer. The rooms and service is quite standard.
0 stars worst hotel ever especially for the price. Toilet leaked onto bathroom floor, first walked into our "clean" room to find a used cup with ice and soft drink in it (both reported immediately on checking in room and nothing was done, no % off or anything) , only one washcloth left after first maid service while we were at the parks. Toilet couldn't be fixed so evening of 2nd night moved us to another room. We will never consider this resort again.
Loved it!! Stayed here while I was attending a conference. Nice rooms and great location. Right on Industrial Blvd. in the middle of everything. We could walk across the street to restaurants, shopping, and arcades!
My room had roaches, carpet smelled old, the gym was inconvenient to use, no coffee cups for coffee in room, no lid for ice bin and we requested twice, overall appearance is out dated and not worth the asking nightly rate
The place was horrible my mother checked our first two rooms before we went inside the comforters were ripped the toilet was supposed to be white but it was black literally the inside was filthy the other two rooms they gave us I'm not sure since when beds grew hair but I'll tell you it grew hair faster than me yet there were still more surprises pull up the sheet covering the comforter and there was DRY BLOOD, it was nearly ripped, and there were yellow stains all over it. My body was itchy all over and surprise again the bathroom started to sing literally. DO NOT sleep here even if you're really tired just sleep in your car at least you'll know you won't catch AIDS there.
Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him.
It is very disappointing this hotel discriminates against local residents. If I could give you a 0 star I would because not all guests are the same. To refuse someone solely based off the fact that they live here locally let's me know your owner is completely ignorant and I would never recommended anyone, especially tourists, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!
Great location close to everything. Cleanliness of the hotel is questionable. Not filthy but not spotless either. The best thing going for this property is location.
Busy hotel pretty nice but our shower had a slow drip and our ac pooped out our second night
I can't understand why there is so many negative reviews. My room is wonderful. 50" TV, coffee maker, fridge, all Amenities, great view of international drive area, ac is like ice cubes, it's by far the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at.
Nice room, they did just walk in while I was getting changed. The staff was okay but ended up charging up 20 extra dollars for "taxes" when adding another day to the stay and was told it would be the same rate as before. There was a lot people outside drinking and smoking the devil's lettuce, making a lot of noise all but the first night. The staff did nothing about this.
Room was nice and clean. Elevator seemed a bit sketchy and took forever. The beds were sleep number, but the adjustment mechanism wasnt working and they were set to the hardest setting. Not bad, could have been better but got a good deal
Our room was ok but the people that works here, needs alot of training, if you can stay here with out interacting with the employees, you might be ok but if you need any help even as little as a extra pillow you will have a nightmare
My time here was great clean and awesome service for reasonable price.. I will be staying here again
Bad experience, the lady of the morning of 11 has a very bad mood attends reluctantly, a week ago I warned my arrival at 11 am and gives me the room at 3 pm being that they had room to spare, when they give me the room a foul smell. I do not recommend the other staff was kind of the other shift, change that Mrs., can not attend to the people, hotel that is very nice pity the smell.
If you're visiting I-drive this is a great choice. It's within walking distance to all of the attractions on I-drive and a short drive from Universal and Sea World. I stopped here for a social gathering and it served that purpose well. I will return.
