We really liked this place.. Lots of 1 stars but we felt differently.. Clean room.. Comfortable.. Big bathroom. Grounds were pretty big.. Was hard to find the pool..lol.. Have great restaurants across the street and its right in the middle of a lot of places.. Almost directly across from the big wheel.. Idk...we liked it.

This place is bad. Use to be Metropolitan Resort, the signs on the back of building are still there. Staff is incompetent. TVs are ancient. Doors don't close all the way. Check took forever because computers were down.
It might be an IHG hotel, but it does not even compare to a Holiday Inn hotel. There were hand soap dispensers mounted in the shower for shampoo and body wash. Just trash. The check in staff, rude and in convenienced I was checking in.
It was at least some what clean. The furniture and carpet was warn, but it was clean. So it has that going for it. There is a good chance I would never go back.
Perhaps IHG, you should take you name off being associated with this property. It's not doing you any favors to your brand.
Was a complete let down the indoor pool was located behind the building in a public ymca, the bar/pool room are had no liquor or beer and was pitch black, rooms were 90 degrees ac did not work in the rooms but the hallway was nice and cold and so was the lobby of course. Receptionst was not friendly just brushed everything off like there was not a problem. The bathroom was clean for the most part besides the yellow stains in the bathtub. Card keyes worked when they wanted to had to replace mine twice. Definitely didnt live up to the expections of what they advertise online it may look like a resort but its far from that. The manager was very understanding and helpful thank god but the others defenitly need a course on costumer service
This place sucks. The coding was falling apart the bathroom by the pool damn near knocked me out with the smell. If you call they answer 1/10 times and if you do get to speak to someone they don t understand you. We left something In Our hotel room and called and called until someone finally picked up. We spoke to 3 people who said they would call back and never did. Then eventually someone said it wasn t in the room or thrown away. What hotel throws away customers belongings after 4 hours
1. No hospitality. No warmth at all! 2. We had to use the service elevator because the regular elevator was broken 3. Need updating 4. The restaurant was closed and convenient store was closed. We checked in around 7pm!
I don't like to give 1 star ratings but this place earned it. Inside and outside of building looks rundown. Needs a new fresh look and paint job. Room was bland, nothing memorable. Price was cheap. Breakfast area looked dark and gross. On top of that, the guy said they ran out of breakfast but it was 9am! Lol. NO ONE was in the dining area but my friends and they said it's been empty for a while now. I just think he was lazy and broke down the food. He said lunch is available! At 9am! Not accommodating at all. Only nice part was that downstairs was walking distance to shops and restaurants. I will not be staying here again.
The elevators weren't working there were insects and bugs in the room, they did not clean the room for two days, and a security guard came Knocking on the door in the middle of the night to take our key card. It was terrible
***1 star because you can't give zero star! *** lf you want some hidden/ surprise charges then this is the ghetto hotel for you. they have sleep comfort bed in the rooms but they are broken and the dangling remotw of these broken beds can end up in your infant's or toddler's neck .Forget calling the lobby for any request because you will NEVER get qhat you want. The room AC is broken and the temperature stayed between76-79 degrees so if you like sweaty ass while in the room this will be perfect for you and your love ones.We decided to stay in this hotel for 3 days for the new years. right after checking in they charged me with additional $58.47 for 3 days recreation fee. l went to the counter and asked one of the receptionists what was the recreation fee was about and l was told that it was for the outdoor pool usage and bus going to the parks. l politely told them that l have my own vehicle and l am not swimming on their outdoor pool on a very cold weather and see if l can get refunded for the amount. The receptionist replied that its mandatory even if you are not using the pool or the bus. I will never book on this cheap hotel againid you are into additional charges and nastiness this hotel will be a perfect fit for you!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone! Floors are filthy! Not only were the floors sorry, but the toilet had dried up pee stains on back, hair all on shower walls and sink, blood stains on bedskirt and sheets, room infested with roaches and woke up to bed bugs on my bed!
This hotel allure hotel is a real rip off the took my booking from 9:30am for a two bed when I get their they gave me a room that is nasty and one bed is in the room I went to the front Dest and the Manager Danielle Is rude and disrespectful I would never recommend this hotel to no one
I travel a lot and I'm not afraid to stay in cheap places this was by far one of the worst condition places I've ever seen I don't mean that it wasn't clean because the carpets were okay the bathrooms were clean but there was a massive amount of maintenance problems we had two rooms one of them had two broken beds in it there happened only be one person staying in it and one side of one of the beds was okay TVs that didn't work. An elevator with a half open door and out of order barrier in front of it leaving only one very slow elevator the crowds of people around that elevator talking about their rooms and how many times they've been moved or the hotel had made an attempt to fix something in their room or claim they made an attempt but nothing changed was unbelievable I travel 30% of the year and most of those trips are out-of-pocket so I'm very frugal having a clean place to stay is definitely important and while the carpets were very old stained they were clean or seem to be the bathrooms were clean that is the only positive thing that I can say about this hotel if it weren't for the clean bathrooms it would have earned 0 Stars we requested to talk to a manager we were told there wasn't one available when we checked out I was a sure that one would be contacting us one never did. This hotel would be a resounding not recommended.
My husband Edgar Carrera booked for December 2016 and I can tell you that it is the worst hotel we have been in, we booked at the Allure Resort and they sent us to the Cosmopolitan Hotel which is an old, dangerous, dirty complex, the Cosmopolitan has no water hot, the current shots do not work, the water got under the carpet, the elevator was super dangerous, the continental breakfast that came with the reservation was a piece of bread and an orange juice. I do not recommend anyone to book at the Allure Resort.
Overall experience has been terrible. Upon arrival we were informed that the a.c. was broken throughout the entire hotel. They also tried to make us pay a resort fee to which I refused. They claim that they have been working on fixing the a.c. for the past two days and have no idea when it will be fixed so we are sleeping in a room registering between 76-77 degrees. It has a mildewy smell. The hotel in general is gross. Dirty carpets, bathrooms, trash in the elevators jist to name a few of the disgusting qualities offered. The staff at the front desk is incredibly rude. I demanded to speak to a manager, they said he wasnt there and that there was nothing they could do for us. The one woman actually had the audacity to tell us that we should just leave if all of these issues are such a problem but that we would still be charged. It's also new years week and every other place in Orlando is booked or $400+ plus a night. I have every Intention of getting some sort of refund for this nightmare and if they refuse, I will just continue to blast them all over social media so that hopefully someone with more power than us, the customers, can step in and do something about this disgusting excuse of a "resort"
Needs a small amount of maintenance and there weren't any towels in the room. However the price is very affordable. Hotel is clean. Beds are sleep number beds. Pool and spa are adequate. Rooms are spacious.
Got to hotel room no towels... poop all over toilet... no shampoo.. called down brought towels and bottle shampoo stayed for 3 days still no clean toilet and friends room never had room clean for 3 days..door lock was broken... their ac wasn't working...and they only had 1 elevator working so u stood there for 15 mins b4 u can get on... complained to front desk they offered us a Starbucks coupon!!! Really... worst place ever to stay... NEVER AGAIN
Good but not that good. If you are going to stay less of a 5 days, good. 1. Cheaper if you book online. 2. Very close to Universal Island of adventures
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! The hotel has a infestation of bugs (roaches). EXTREMELY RUDE and difficult staff and NO working a/c in most of the rooms. When asked for a refund from priceline and me, priceline was told I had to speak to them in person, I was told yes but I had to pay a cancellation fee!!! Because their room was unspeakable tragic, I had to pay!!! Garage place.
We really enjoyed our stayed. As another reviewer stated the pool needs to be painted. But the pool was clean. The resort is transitioning into a Holiday Inn express so the restaurant and bar are not open. We were told 2020 it would be comply. Our room was very spacious and clean. Decor is border line dated but not to dated. We are already planning our next stay there
Pool at great temperature, comfortable and large rooms. Great location. Just ask in some details as an attendant who does not speak Portuguese and does not have breakfast (which I even prefer).
Awful! Don't stay here! Had reserved a king size bed. We were given two queen size bed. No big deal.... But one of them was broken. THEN the worst thing... There was dried urine on the toilet seat. This was not taken care of by the staff at all. The towels in the bathroom looked used. We were unable to shower after a long day at one of the Orlando parks. When we told them about our problems in the morning they first said... "Sorry for the inconvenience" and then expected me to leave. When I told them that they needed to rectify the situation for us they said that they would talk to their manager. They informed me that he was VERY busy in a meeting and that it was a inconvenient for us them to bother them but they would send us one free night stay. Almost a month later and I have received nothing. This place is AWFUL! People who value sanitation and quality stay away! Not worth the three and a half stars!
Location was good, the beds were a disaster. They use sleep number beds in all there rooms from 20 years ago. By far the most painful night sleep you will receive. My room wasn t cleaned for my second night yet my key didn t work. I had to go back to the front for a new key. I wouldn t personally stay here again. With out good night sleep it defeats the purpose. The hot water is scarce that is true what people are saying in their reviews.
Visit Orlando around seven times a year and this is the worst hotel ever. First room smells like weed music was blaring from the next room so loud. Fan in bathroom sounded like a 747 was taking off. Stains all over carpet. So we were moved to another room. When we first walked in the second room the hallway light had a short in it and was flickering off and on the whole time. One of the beds was broke. Hair in the bathtub. Around the toilet was filthy. Called the front desk five times twice was hung up on. walk to the front desk and was told could move us once again another room ,but we already running late for our reservations so asked if a credit could be made they told us no but they can refund us and we can find another hotel. Of course we cannot take another couple hours out of our vacation to look for another hotel and repack are car. Also in a room that accommodates four people only had enough towels and wash rags for two had to call several times to get more towels. And no towels were ever at the pool when swimming.
Very disapointing unclean rooms roaches. Broken beds and failing lamps. Whole diferent experience since it was sold from ramada in and turned into a time share resot hotel. No restaurant service
There is a lot of construction, no hot water in room for showering, the pool they advertise is not theirs, it is the YMCA aquatic center for which the Allure charges a $15 resort fee. Couldn t call the front desk because the room phone does not work, and lamp on night stand did not work.
King suite was awesome!! Customer service could be better from nee staff. Website is misleading about amenities. There isn't actually a pool. Still loved my room though and the closeness to everything.
Me and my husband originally always book here when I come to orlando and our stay is normally okay. However, the past 3 times we have stayed here we have been having issues with hot water that never gets fixed. Well we have recently stayed here and it was a nightmare. We arrived and as we were checking in we were told we had to pay an extra $30.00 for a service fee for the hotel after we had already paid for our stay online. Okay that was fine but we would have wanted to know that ahead of time. Also after we were ready to unload our bags into our room we noticed roaches coming from behind a picture frame so we took pictures and took them down to the front check in to show the employee. We were then moved into another room with an broken a.c. unit. The unit would only get cold and it very cold while we were there. We reported it and we were assured that while we were out having family fun that someone would come up and fix our unit so we could have heat for the remaining of our stay. Before were headed back to the hotel I called to check and see if anyone had been to fix our unit and we were told yes. However when we got back to the room the unit was still broken my daughter had caught a cold while staying there because our room was very cold. I was told I would be refunded back one night however that was a lie too. I have not yet been compensated. I will never stay here again and I will not recommend anyone to book at the allure resort either.
The parking is a hit or miss. You're either going to get a great parking spot or feel like you're trekking through a chaotic misshapen parking lot. Other than that, the resort is great. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The AC was amazing (which is hard to say for some hotel rooms). The TV HDMI set up was kind of a bummer, since they have the most basic remote control with a rather complex TV, but it's manageable. The hotel overall was one I would happily revisit.
The hotel room was the best part. But initially, they gave us a room that still belonged to someone! Now my main concern with that was if we could have easily been given a key to someone else's room, that could have occurred with us as well. Thankfully it didn't. Then the key cards to our own room barely worked which had to be changed numerous times throughout the evening. Then, some of the amenities were misleading. They have an indoor/outdoor pool. Given it was in the 60's that day of course the inside pool was the better option. Problem was we came on a Saturday afternoon and it's only open if the YMCA is open and they closed at 4 that afternoon and they were not open on Sunday. They also supposedly have a game room but that was closed for renovations as well. No contential breakfast, and the list goes on. If the only thing your looking for is a nice bed to sleep in and a short commute to the eye of Orlando than this is the place. Just don't expect much else. Will not be visiting again.
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Free Breakfast option is really bad and crowded during the time as it is common for 2 adjacent hotels.Very Minimal seating in the breakfast room.
-5 stars, Bugs, Filthy Dirty, Staff is Lazy, Big pool is filthy, Manager cannot deal with the situations and hides, killed a 2" cockroach in my bathroom running across the floor, the entire place is dysfunctional and should be shut down. Don't waste your money or your time!
Considering the location and cost the room was great, the staff was friendly, and the hotel clean. One of the two elevators were out of order, but that was a minor inconvenience.
Beds r hard, Gift shops and food places inside the hotel are very expensive! Reservation people are rude and uninformative, the restaurant and gift shop staff r pleasant and nice;) grounds were shabby and they were doing construction(wish I wld have known and there are 2hotels attached sharing amenities. No free brkfst, phone in room didn't work and I moved a short couch and it was so dirty under it u know they haven't vacuumed under things in a while. It's convienent cause it's close and walking distance to alot of attractions for the money u pay it's worth it but just make sure u bring extra cash for eating out here! Literally spent for 1adult and 2kids $70.00 a day on snax, dinks and pizza and that's only cause I (mom) didn't eat! I honestly ate 1 slice of pizza, water and coffee for the first two days being here so my kids were full. It's beautiful here tho and worth the money if u have the extra cash to spend! It's not smokefree at all! Dog poop everywhere and butts all around pool area. You also share the grounds and pool area with another hotel called The Metropolitan. never again will I stay there!!
Well I have stayed at this hotel before for swim meets as close to the YMCA pool. While the hotel has never been a luxury resort ; it was fine for a night or two . I just stayed there this past weekend and my experience was really bad. First, they could not find my reservation when we checked in even though I had called two days prior to arrival and had a confirmation code. Then nothing in the room worked when we checked in. Not the phone or the sleep number remotes they so prominently displayed on our bed. We had to call maintenance to fix both. And finally the worst part of all..... it appears I have bed bug bites from staying there! I cannot think of any other thing that would have caused multiple. bites on my body a day after staying there! It's room # 2608 so that room needs fumigating!!!! I love the convenience and location of this hotel but am not sure I would ever stay there again!!! I have tried to call the hotel manager about this numerous times and they do not return calls! So BEWARE of this hotel!!!
Lights were unplugged, phone system was not working, saw a roach in the bathroom. Front desk staff did not volunteer important info such as wifi password, where to park. That being said, it was inexpensive and conveniently located. Nice sized room.
Worst experience ever, wrong room size needed two Queens gave a king. Wouldn't change rooms. Lukewarm water. Rude customer service speaking in other language while attending to us. Phone rang and lady would disregard it
No air/heater conditioning, Little Roaches everywhere, Didn't even have a microwave nor fridge...I had my 4 kids with me Which was jus coming off a cold So not having the proper heating really irked my nerves Even spoke to the management and Supervisor and the was blatantly disrespectful, Nonchalante about the concerns of its customers It's jus really a sad way of running a suppose to be business
Too many issues. Blood on the pillow cases. Rude front desk representative. One bed was broken in the first room. The rug was full of red juice and stains in the room we were transferred to. We never received towels. We had a 5th floor room and had to travel downstairs with every issue since no one answered the phones. Two nights of the worst service ever.
Hotel was not how I expected, I feel ripped off. Do not spend your hard working money here. Staff were unprofessional. and I kept finding little lizards in the halls The manager Maria was really rude- house keeper never went to my room after I told them the massage bed was not working. I won t be back.
Lackluster accommodation, booked through Priceline. Hotel refused to honor written advertisement. Blamed Priceline cost me $15 additional. Room was terrible, this is not a three star hotel. Priceline isn't to be trusted, I booked the Rosen and recommend staying at the Rosen no hidden charges, this isn't about the money but the accommodations and the lack of communication/customer service. Before you book this place do yourself a favor and check out the Rosen!!!
Let me first say, this *resort* was not our first choice. Due to an issue with our airbnb location, we were forced to scramble to find a place to stay upon our arrival to Orlando. My first impression of the lobby was that it wasn't welcoming and there was long line of approximately 8 people checking in and only ONE person at the front desk at 7:30 in the evening. The check-in process took far too long and the front desk associate was barely cordial. The decor is pretty worn, the carpets are frayed and faded.
When we arrived to our room, I noticed Sleep Number remotes on the beds......none of them worked, there were only two sets of towels in a double bed room for 4 occupants (the towels felt like sandpaper and left debris on our skin after drying).
Our third night at the place of lodging, there was a family of young children who obviously felt there was nothing wrong with their children screaming at the top of their lungs and playing down the hallway for 20 minutes after midnight. I called the front desk twice and no one answered. We waited for another ten minutes and when it was evident the family wasn't going to quiet down, we had to get up and knock on their door to ask them to please be quiet.
There was no hot water; it was lukewarm, at best. They advertised a bar but, it was empty and not in service. The free breakfast was undesirable and the $5.99 breakfast was nothing that I would feed anyone I cared about. Another day we were here, the elevator stopped working but, you wouldn't know it because there was no signage posted to inform the guests the elevator was down. The overall level of service at Allure is subpar. We certainly won't be returning to this establishment on our next visit.
Took a cold shower, reminded me of the hurricane days. When I checked out I mentioned it and the lady just told me to have a good day. Very disappointed
Room is nice but that's about it. False advertisement saying having a restraurant, it's not open but sign still on and says open, no bar. Front desk not very friendly would never stay here again
Horrible place. Do not waste your money. Took 40 min. To check in. We left as soon as we opened the door to our room. Took 1 hr 40 min to speak to anyone about checking out and getting a refund. Dirty, bed bugs, no a.c., and smelly. Place needs to be shut down
Clean rooms and nice size, but we had to change rooms, because they have rooms with sleep number beds that don't work. My bed felt like laying on a deflated tire. Why even reserve those rooms? Change to a regular mattress or don't reserve the room. The front desk staff were nice and found me a another room relatively close on the same floor.
If there was an option to rate less than 1 star I would have. Check in was quick and easy. Our room looked absolutely nothing like the rooms on the website. The bathroom floor was dirty like the toilet overflowed and was left to dry. The toilet was broken and running constantly upon entering the room but was not actually over flowing. There was uneaten food and garbage under the beds, hair in the tub and in the beds. We were given another room. The 2nd room was just as bad. The electronic door lock was broke, the dead bolt was broke and the interior door catch was broke so there was absolutely no way of locking the door. Regular sheets were used in place of fitted sheets, there were no towels no wash cloths. We called the front desk and ordered some towels and cloths to the room. Still no towels after 2 hours of waiting. The room reaked of chlorine. Our 3rd room they moved us to the"nice wing". No problems at all with the 3rd room. The free breakfast is coffee juice and buttered toast. You literally stand in line to use a home model toaster and do it yourself. No one running the free breakfast speaks english. The breakfast buffet that you can pay for in the lobby at the cafe was horrible. It was not a buffet but is advertised as one. It is a platter. You pay, pick what you would like and that's it no more. The sausage is fake foamy mystery links that are boiled. The bacon seems real but is pressed flat and boiled and is translucent and rubbery. The cottage cheese is rotten. The potatoes are horrifyingly salty and dryer out. The sausage gravy and biscuits are also horrifying and unedible. The fruits are very good and the water is ice cold. The transportation to and from the hotel is very dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. Your safety is not their concern. The rules of the road are not their concern. The vehicles (vans and buses) are floored from every stop and braked to the maximum. Drivers change lanes during intersections, cut other motorists off just to turn in front of them, drive well oboe the speed limit, and turn so hard the vehicle leans and at one point I had to hold my wifes head from smashing into the window during a turn. The hotel has no one to speak to about their transportation as it is "on hire". I will never ever ever ever never ever come to this hotel ever again, I will recommend sleeping in your car before spending a single red cent at this hotel. Every dollar I spent here was another dollar spent on my own disappointment.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. My family and I booked a room for two nights through Priceline. Priceline has this resort listed as a 3.5 star. This resort is a 1.5 at best. We checked in on a Saturday evening. The moment we walked in the room it smelled. About an hour into the room, we saw a roach crawl on the wall. The next day we left our room real early in the morning and returned around midnight. At that time we found another roach on the wall and a dead roach in the mini refrigerator. I had to throw all our food out along with all my baby's food. The sheet on the one bed had a big yellow stain on it, along with other little stains. I tried to call the front desk 4 times and no one would answer even though the front desk is suppose to be 24 hours. On the day of checkout, I called the front desk three more times that morning and still no answer. When I got out of the shower, there was a tiny baby roach crawling in the bathroom. Finally I was able to get someone on the phone. I asked if a manager could come to my room so they could see the roaches in my room, but I was told no managers are allowed to come to the room. So I took a video with my phone of the roach on the wall, the dead one in the refrigerator, and the stains on the sheets. This is unaccepatble. My family and I had to go through all of our stuff to make sure we did not have any roaches in our things. Our vacation was extended. We ended up checking into a real 3.5 star hotel and it was nice.
It's a dump. The "restaurant" is almost never open. When it is, they just microwave stuff. There is garbage everywhere. My windows were covered with so much filth that I couldn't see out of them. There was hair and garbage in my bathtub when I arrived. I asked them to clean it... never happened. Hair in the towels too. Everything was filthy and outdated. I was woken up on my last morning by screaming kids next door. Spend a little extra and go anywhere else.
So far, for me, it was the worst hotel experience ever. Desk personnel was very rude. The room wasn't ready until 4:20 or so pm, when check in time is at 3:00pm. Room (2112) was still dirty and smells pretty bad, beds are old and squeaky. Shower makes strange noises and it's hard to maintain temperature. On the positive side, they have a free wifi here.
