Parking was great. Easy access to the Revention Center and other surrounding facilities. Parking spaces are close but great location.

Love love love going to the Alley. We go to the Summer Chills every year for my mom's birthday and it's always fantastic. The actors are magnificent, the play is always a mystery (usually Agatha Christie), and the redone theatre is gourgeous.
Fantastic show. First time there and won't be the last
The only bad show I've seen in 15 years was when Marisa Tomei canceled her comedy and it was replaced with a truly maudlin WWI production.
I worked a private event & helped set up & serve 200ppl!
Saw "The Carpenter". Enjoyed ut and would recommend the venue.
Traffic in Houston was horrible! It always is. We were late and couldn't be seated. The staff were kind and pulled upna couple of benches so we could watch via CCTV. After intermission we were able to find our purchased seats and they were wonderful! The rest of the play was GREAT! We'll be back next year, but leaving early.
Not only is this an incredibly talented theater company, but the organization is reaching out to the community & offering services like dialect & speech coaching services. Well done!
Quack is not enjoyable and I found script in the play offensive. The play is a "0". The facility is a five. I averaged for the score
Khalen Bowie had an amazing and awesome experience. He really enjoyed it. Spring Leadership Academy, thank you. Carol Bowie.
I enjoyed the production of Three Musketeers very much. Such a great production and in such a beautiful location.
I look forward to seeing many more production at the Alley. Linda McLaughlin
Went to go see the Winter's Take performance, but the theatre itself is really well designed to house 2 shows and guests in it's lobby quite well. The theatre itself is designed to amplify quite nicely and it feels bigger than it actually is
The alley theatre is a great place to catch a play. I have seen several performances here and they are always well done and entertaining.
Just saw Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at the Alley. We had 2nd row seats and they were amazing. The show is off the scale quality production & actors. My favorite part was a guy in a bear suit!
Gorgeous place, they had all different types of amazing Christmas trees but the play was great. The action and the props where great! Would recommend to anyone who wanted to see a real play not just some school play.
I've seen some great plays here, and the techies were great hosts to my group in HS.
The artsy, classical feel of this theatre made the atmosphere alive and the show more fantastic!
Definitely go to the bathroom before you go though because they are disgusting. Also be sure to bring cash because parking and the bar don't take cards.
Wonderful place for we'll acted drama and comedy., orignal plays done by an outstanding, award winning local theatre group. Better still , not as bad seat in the house in this recently renovated venue.
My favorite place for live theatre in houston.
Truly wonderful regional theater. Resident company is excellent. Lots of interesting guest artists. We're about to move away from Houston and the Alley will be the part of the city we will miss most.
Great local live theater venue. Not a bad seat in the house, so don't get too concerned if you can't get seats close to the stage. The seat configuration and the intimacy of this theater make all seats good. Local company puts on some really great shows. Get your tickets online and avoid any waiting in line!
This place was so cool, and after Harvey, they got a lot of damage, so it was awesome to see them repair their building like that. Their production of A Christmas Carol was so awesome, the actors did great, and I really recommend it!
Very nice theatrical venue. Attended " A Christmas Carol" and the actors were amazing. Make sure to sit in rows C - H for eye level view. That said, there is not a bad view anywhere in the house! However, dont expect alot of comfort from the seats, think "airline coach" seating.
A jewel in the heat of Houston. We love every show we see there.
We love it here they do an amazing Christmas Carol. They run school or student matinee too. Parking garage immediately behind them is cheaper than others but you have to get there early as it fills up quickly.
Beautifully decorated and a truly great show. #AChristmasCarol
I love how close you are to the whole thing. Makes you feel a part of it.
Fantastic theater with great seats all around no matter where you sit for great prices. And the shows are filled with a variety of actors and actresses that are superb
Watched A Christmas Carol, great show great atmosphere. Will go back.
Great place to see plays in Houston. Lots of good plays rotate through the year including some new and unique plays.
Great place, all seats are positioned for easy viewing of play, i loved the atmosphere and the professional staff, Christmas tree decoration were gorgeous
Beautiful set, gifted actors, quality production! Loved it
The recent update is fantastic. The hall is lovely and offers a wide range of plays. My only complaint is in the past few years they've gotten more politically preachy in the play choices. Along with to many odd modern plays.
What a thrill it was for me to be back in this magnificent theatre after 36 years, to see the play "The Mousetrap," by Agatha Christie. So much history here. The entire basement level has been restored since Hurricane Harvey, after millions of dollars in damage. The entire building is beautiful once again.
Loved it! Staff was friendly and underground access from the garage was great in a heavy storm.
Love the Alley, always very entertained by the offerings and terrific. actors and stagecraft.
World class theatre in beautiful downtown Houston. The renovations (and the re-renovations post Harvey) are fantastic. Every seat is a good seat. There is a walk up bar and lovely patio area to take in the scenery. Park in the adjacent garage. Go see a play! Go see all the plays!!
I saw a Christmas Carol it was great they put alot of work into it. The theater was clean nicely set up. It does get very cold in there. Bathrooms were very clean and parking was not too bad $12 for the garage
Excellent actors who did the best they could given the material. "72 Miles to Go"
Newly renovated, great views of stage, reasonable prices, great plays and acting, best regional theatre in Houston.
Great time doing Theatre Day with the kids in a behind the scenes tour. Enjoyed watching The Three Musketeers. My only complaint is a staff member was extremely rude to our family. We had just finished the tour with a lunch break before the play. We had paid for the tour and tickets to the play and were denied access to the restrooms on the floor we were watching the play on an hour later. It would have been fine if they were polite about it but I have rarely encountered someone so rude that is there to provide support to the public and the arts.
The actors are extremely talented. The sets, lighting, sound....are great. Always a memorable experience.
Another great performance ! The alley theater stage has never disappointed us.
Amazing theater holding amazing plays. Loved it. Definitely coming again
Amazing theater troupe reside here. This is the place to go if you want to see quality work and excellent plays. One of the best hidden gems in Houston's incredible (and often underrated) arts scene. Check out the Summer Chills series as well.
Great showing of The Cake in Neurhaus theater of Alley.
Biggest issue is how cramped the seats are. If you are over 5 10 expect your knees to be compressed by the edge of the seat ahead. Best to book the front or very back rows.
All seats except north are great.
Saw The Three Musketeers. Casting, acting, and fight choreography where all great. It was. Fun time.
They also do community days where the public can tour the theater and learn more about the play
Phenomenonal shows, great acoustics, easy to book tickets and parking is a breeze (but kind of expensive).
Absolutely amazing preformance. Great seats and sound effects. It's like living a story! Beautiful facility!
Outstanding performance of A Christmas Carol!!!! Love the theater!!!
Play was just weird . Very depressing. Thought we have a nice quiet evening. Nothing what we expected.
..
Nice staff, affordable prices, clean place, and cozy atmosphere. Small theater that makes any seat location a good view to the stage. Discounted prices for students. The parking garage in the same building. I liked the idea that we can purchase the parking permit online. The only bad thing is if you park your car in upper levels you may get lost cause there was no direction signs lead you to the theater gate!
