Only Portuguese wines... ok sure, I get it.
Some cocktails, but no real bar? Rude or just weird?
Making me eat all my tappas choices at once? Lame.
Open till 12... ok, awesome again.

I would say quite poor. My girlfriend had been here a year ago and recommended it as a great place. We came in November, and looks like it had changed ownership? The food was very average, the staff tried to upsell to the most expensive item when asked for a recommendation, and the up sell items were poor. The drinks were terrible, the staff had no idea what they were talking about. Overall disappointed, would not recommend

Was headed to Lisbon today but Covid-19 took care of that. As a substitute placed an order to go, what an amazing treat!! Every dish was fantastic, the goat stew was over the top!! Can't wait until things are back to normal so I can sit there and enjoy the true Portuguese treats.. Thank you so much!!

We really enjoyed the tapas after a bit of wine tasting. Being a Portuguese restaurant they offered a unique but tasty version of tapas. And if you like Port wine they have plenty of options.

Loved this tapas restaurant! You order a ton of small plates and they are served family style, which means you get to try multiple items on the menu! The crowd favorite at our table was the pulled pork sandwiches. The chairs in the restaurant could be slightly more comfortable.

Very good food, great atmosphere! I was here for a friends dinner with my two best ladies. Wine flight was yummy, I had white, my friend chose red. We sampled a bunch of great items and really liked it all.

This place was fantastic! I wasn't sure if I would have gotten full from the small portions, and originally thought it was going to be more expensive. But I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful everything was, and the price made sense in the end. My wife and I will definitely be returning next time we're in town.

Super cool place to grab some bites... as in tapas, tasty, fun food to share with your companions. Diverse tapas menu gives everyone something to like. Plates range from three, five, to seven tapas... with other options as well. Very friendly and helpful wait staff, very creative and experienced chefs.

I took the picture of the payphone, because I hadn't seen one in a million years, especially with a rate of ten cents per local call.

Butternut squash soup was excellent as were the pork sliders/port bbq sauce and Dungeness crab empadas. The ultra Premium flight of Ports paired well with the tapas.
Great little place to have a light lunch

It is with regret that I write this review. First the positive: We love the space/ambiance and the food. However, buyer-customer beware. I casually and in passing asked for a bit more mustard. I received a small ramekin with a bit of mustard in it. That was fine. But, when we got the bill we had been charged $3.00 for that little bit of mustard (approx. 2 Tbs.) and were not informed it would cost $3.00 at the time I asked for it. This to us is sharp business practice, to wit: Charging for a bit more mustard (approx. 2 Tbs) and not tell the customer there would be an additional charge and $3.00 for that little bit of mustard. Further in our experience, one of the waitresses is brusque and does not enjoy her work, which puts a pall over the very good food and otherwise pleasant environment.

I've been here twice now (a couple of years apart) and both times the food was great (extremely creative and well executed) and the service was attentive, efficient and friendly. The only quirky part is that they have this sort of discount system where the cost per tapa is based on how many you order at once, so if you order five items the per item price is less than if you order 1 or 3 items but more than if you order 7. The only problem is that if you want to order more food the price doesn't include you initial order.

Even with that quirk, I would highly recommend Tasca Tasca.

We LOVED this place. Great staff, amazing menu. Do yourself a favor and order the seven weirdest things on the menu, then prepare to be amazed. Dessert is incredible as well (cobblestone road was divine). A great experience!

I love tapas but this place didn't do it for me. I was disappointed but thought it was ok. My wife didn't like it at all. Ordered 7 tapas and I only liked 3. I'm glad most the people that try here like it but it's a pass for me in the future.

Great concept! Small tapas presented in a wood board at a great price. In one meal you can eat your fish, your veggies and meat. You choose. Food Super tasty but defetnetly the chocolate ice cream " a bit spicy" is amazing. Ambience is fantastic as well as the service.

I am tapas lover and always like to try variety of dishes. This is the place, for $35 we got 7 tapas, more than enough for two.
The sangria was good, no ice, just pure 4 oz of drink. The service was quick, friendly staff.
I highly recommend the following, from top left clockwise:
Goat stew, fried pork ears, shishito peppers, ceviche, pork sausage, potatoes ao murro ( with sausage), pork sliders.

Loved the informal chance to get outside my comfort zone. Foods you've never heard of and tastes new and bold make this a great place for groups or an adventurous couple. And after a day of tasting California wine it's nice to try some Portuguese wine.

This was an amazing place for dinner. My wife and I celebrated out anniversary here. The food and wine was amazing. A lot of times service can ruin an experience. That wasn t the case here. The service was amazing!!! I d highly recommend to anyone!

Would give this place a higher rating if only looking at food quality. The duck, lamb stew, and Mac and cheese were all quote good and prices per plate were reasonable. Primary problems are that we had two waiters, neither of which were particularly knowledgeable or attentive. Additionally, items ordered in groups and items ordered as one off have different pricing structures which doesn't make any sense.

Just delicious. This is the perfect dinner after an afternoon of Sonoma wine tasting. It's a little more affordable than some of the other Sonoma places (35$ for 7 sharing plates, which was enough for two of us). The Portuguese Tapas were More

Delicous variety of foods. Many tasty flavors. 7 plates made for a very satisfying lunch for two people. Our favorites were the crab empanadas, Mac and cheese, and ceviche! Plus the Achadinha Broncha cheese with honey was amazing.

Wonderful atmosphere and great service. My wife and I shared a 7 platter board for lunch. The food was fresh and flavorful. We visited during COVID. The tables were very well distanced, all staff were wearing masks, and the windows were open to promote good airflow from the outside.

We chose to eat here instead of the selected meal for our guided tour. Best decision EVER. Seven items for $35 to share between two friends plus a selection of wine was ideal for the summer day. The ceviche was amazing, and the heirloom tomato salad was refreshing. Our waitress recommended the broncha cheese with honey and that tasted great with the smoked duck breast and serrano ham. 5/5 would eat again.

Tasca means Tavern or pub in Portugal. Tasca Tasca is the realization dream of the chef to sharing one of he's favorite styles of eating with Sonoma area.

If you are in area, if you desire to eat something out of your comfort than come here. You can eat variety of tapas and enjoy the wine selection. I recommend you to try Dungeness crab empanada, ceviche ( little bit sour), fried piri piri potatoes, Portugal national soup was delicious, potatoes in truffle butter. I thought oysters were okay. And the octopus salad and marinated mussels were canned food. They came in can too. Lol.

Great ambiance and gender neutral bathroom.

Great tapas, order 3, 5, or 7 choices delivered all at once. There's choices for everyone from long list-- from a remarkably fresh tasting cup of gazpacho, to several boquerones, or fives thin slices chorizo, unusual cheeses, or two rich crab empanadas, or a little pot of the best goat stew I've ever had! Light to heavier, it's easy to make a meal of it or just a snack. White or red Portuguese wine flights with generous pours go well with the food. Only regret is the staff doesn't seem to know much, if anything, about the wines or the lovely port list. Still, a great experience ! My fave food experience on this visit to Sonoma! That goat!!!

A hidden gem near the town square. 1st time trying any Portuguese food and it was love at 1st bite. Although we only tried 7 of their tapas all were excellent. Must go back and try rest. Good value and comfortable atmosphere.

You get to choose 3 items for around 16 bucks, just keep in mind the portions are small. It is good if you want to sample different portugese style foods but not if you are looking to chow down. Food was pretty good quality. Come here for a late night snack or some eats before heading elsewhere is my recommendation.

These tacos are delicious. Greatest repetition of Tasca in any name with more than one Tasca in it, and I've dreamed, hungry, of names with repetitions like that since I injured my forehead and temporal lobe in a pretty serious rollercoaster accident I got in once at a nearby amusement park you've probably never heard of. Place should honestly be shut down now that I think of it. Putt-Putt Goes To The Moon is a game with appealing moons in it. I like the way the music sounds like a cartoon space-robot. I am bleeding out of my ears when that happened... I have bedding in the wash... clothes are being made into new objects and I can't... because I am lookng at my new self, and am changing. Look at

I have been to Portugal and I can tell you that it s far from tasting like what I ate over there. Now of you lower your expectations you ll find the food fairly acceptable and fresh but way overpriced for what it is.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I tried 7 savory and 3 sweet tapas, and I'd eat every one of them again with gusto. The potatoes Ao Murro and the olive oil ice cream were particularly delicious in my opinion.

Delicious tapas and lots of options for Portuguese wine. They specialize in port, but we went with the flight of white wines to compliment our mostly-seafood tapas. Not much of an emphasis on local wines. Fairly extensive list of tapas to choose from, I recommend the squid salad. Pulled pork sliders are good to have as something a bit more substantial.

Ambiance was good, staff was good. Good presentation of food but The food flavor i wasnt over joyed with. The tartare was ok, the potatoes werent burnt but they had a flavor of burnt, which i couldnt get past. I liked the shishito peppers. My husband loves foie grois but didnt like this one. The cheeses we got just wasnt full of flavor.

Expensive but tasty! Also got quite full despite originally thinking it wasnt going to be enough with the 3pack menu. The place is very charming and even attracted a local bird who seems to like breadcrumbs x)
We ordered the sausage, ceviche, bacalhao croquette, lamb stew, 2 cheeses, etc. The food had a lot of garlic, which im not a fan of, but must say it was all tasty.
There seems to be only one server and several cooks that ocassionally come out to bring food or bring dishes back to the kitchen.

Really interesting spot. Not sure if it's authentic Portuguese food but it a has a real street food feel to the meal, especially since they provide small skewers at your table to single out morseles off your board. That's right they bring the meal out on a board so make sure you order 7 courses because the portions are bite sized. I recommend the peppers and sausage!
