All State Management Reviews

Our newly elected HOA board met with three HOA management companies before deciding to go with AllState HOA about six months ago. We are very happy with this decision as they helped us get our HOA back on track after years of neglect with the previous board and their incompetent management company. They quickly made sure to bring our building up to code (scheduling the necessary fire and elevator safety checks), conducted a much-needed reserve study, collected all outstanding dues and made sure to follow-up regularly with delinquent homeowners. Erik is extremely professional and always responsive, and provides great advice to the board when we encounter issues with which we are unfamiliar. We have also been happy with the vendors they have recommended (especially our gardener, Luis!) and they always provide several quotes so that the board can make informed decisions. We look forward to continuing to work with Eric and AllState HOA management to making our building a much better place to life for all homeowners.

David Bar was exceedingly helpful. He completed our condominium questionnaire in 5 hours when we had been given incorrect information and David fixed it for us perfectly. He's the best!

I have worked with Allstate HOA Management for the past 7 years. I always work with David Bar because he is the community manager for the unit my company manages. They have always worked quickly to resolve any issues that arise and make sure to take care of the needs of our tenants/owners. We had an after hours ER come into our hotline and I was able to call them on a Saturday afternoon and they dispatched someone immediately to take care of the plumbing situation. They made sure not to inconvenience our tenants and to stop any further damage from occurring to the unit and tenants property. They have kept us in the loop every step of the way. I wish every HOA was this easy to work with and I look forward to working with them more in the future.

I have leased condo through HOA and David was of great help during lease signup, maintenance activities at condo and during lease termination. All the process happens electronically and it made my experience further smoother.
During lease notice period, I had some personal and immigration challenges - David helped me and ensured that there are no hiccups during lease termination. Overall I had an awesome experience. Thank you David & HOA!

I am a mortgage processor and we had a 10 day escrow and was in need of a lender condo questionnaire like yesterday, I emailed David Bar and he responded instantly. He saved the day and got us the questionnaire in a matter of a couple hours saving our mortgage deal! David Bar at Allstate HOA Management is great. He manages a building where I own a condo, and he is really helpful. I sent him a list of 10 questions, and he emailed back right away with answers to every question.

Jessica Norman is an absolute superstar. Before Jessica, I was pushing our HOA board to switch management companies as our rep was unprofessional and passive aggressive. He was also unavailable. Jessica has actioned every request with ease, efficiency, and grace. I would give her ten stars if I could.

Erik B. was our account manager and he was awesome. He was responsive, helpful, knows the business, and just an all around great person to work with. He advised us on all manner of topics from making sure we followed proper HOA procedures, maintenance, repairs, and always had good referrals for whatever our needs we're from plumbing, landscaping, contractors, and electricians.

I can highly recommend them if you're considering an HOA company to work with.

Allstate is an amazing company to work with! Jake is our manager and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is always following through to make sure every task we request is taken care of.

I've had 25 years worth of contact with management companies in my professional capacity of a roofing contractor. There are very few management companies that are as professional in every capacity of service as Allstate.

Terrible management company. Doesn't know HOA laws, is difficult to work with and fails to keep their commitments to the community.
Very poor at maintaining and providing financial reports. Their friends must have written all the positive reviews. I wish I could give it zero stars.

This is a great property management company. They are all very organized and on top of all situations. Not to mention, all the property managers are considerate and provide great customer service satisfaction.. I would highly recommend Allstate HOA to any property association within Los Angeles County.

As a board member and resident of a homeowners association, Allstate HOA Management has been helpful in providing our community the information we need, coordinating bids for contractors, and ensuring that we comply with all applicable laws, follow our bylaws, and more. They have a 24-hour emergency number to call a plumber when a pipe breaks in the middle of the night. And they set up an online platform where you can track revenue, expenses, pay bills, and maintain documents. The team at Allstate are responsive to our needs as a community!

Horrible!! No other word to describe.
Had major water damage to my condo which could have been avoided if they actually answered their emergency phone number. By the time I got a call back (the following day!!) it was too late. Dealing with Ben is a nightmare. Instead of calling me and walking me through the process and making sure it is handled as fast as possible, I need to chase him and he is acting has if he is doing me a favor. 2 weeks have passed and I still do not have a proposal for the repairs. If you are thinking of Allstate HOA Management as an option for your management company DON T, you will regret it.

I highly recommend Allstate HOA Management. David and his associates are so easy to work with, sticklers for details and a complete follow thru until the assignment gets completed; all with a smile. A real pleasure to work with.

Love working with Joey! He is very responsive and knowledgeable. I am a Secretary of HOA in Newport Beach, where I also live. Things could get pretty complex at times. Billing department does work well too. Had some issues during the switch over, and again, they were very responsive and on it.

I have been on a long term project with Joey going on about 6 months now. We have weathered Covid and an extremely long wait time for the pump to arrive. He has been receptive to everything we have tried to do in the best interest of our mutual customer. Sometimes we are only giving a days notice to add or move something. Every time we get close to finishing it another problem comes up and Joey handles it quickly and professionally he works well with the HOA and Joey's follow up is on point!

I am on the Board of an 11 unit HOA in Santa Monica - we have been with Allstate Management since 2012 and are very content and happy with every email or phone call.

We Board members are all volunteers and it is so important to find a management company that makes things EASIER for us to get details accomplished. And even though we are a small HOA, we still seem important to them! Our prior management company was so slow to communicate and shockingly rude as well - so we made the effort to search for a new company. We Interviewed Ben Bar and also talked with David Bar and the decision was a no brainer.

After five years of excellent service and genuinely nice customer service, I am happy to recommend Allstate Management. Here are the folks that I deal with and who all deserves loud applause, Ben and David, Benjamin, and Sam. Really, all these folks are amazing and make my job as board member so much easier - my emails are returned promptly and they have given us solid advice on many issues: from roof leaks to understanding the liability of uneven concrete walkways (what is considered reasonable vs what needs to be fixed) to referrals for restating our CC&Rs.

Very surprise there re positive reviews for this company. My condo unit had few issues over last one year when Allstate HOA management took over a year ago and couldn t find right contractor for for more than 9 months. It could be as simple as wasp control to serious water leaking. There are no follow up, no minutes to home owner/board meeting. The property manager Erik Brewer only reacts to problem which he wants to do and disappears or ignores you when you need him most.

Jessica Norman is great to work with. I maintain the landscape for some of her properties. She's a quick thinker. A problem solver. A great mediator between myself and the HOA. A true professional at what she does.

Joey is fantastic! Responsive, smart, on-the-ball, efficient, friendly.
