A wonderful exhibition by Monet. It is a wonderful feeling to walk in his footsteps.
The fame of this museum and the top-quality exhibitions speak for themselves.
Such an incredible museum! The sculptures were absolutely stunning and we went while they were exhibiting some Monart and Remembrandt. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone interested in art.
I have been to the Albertina especially because at the moment there is a retrospective of #Monet which contains 100 paintings also collected by other museums. In addition there are his last paintings in his Japanese garden in Giverny.
You will also find Raffaello Rubens Picasso Modigliani And Klimt.
Just an incredible collection of Picasso's! Kids under 19 free for anyone traveling with teens and or little ones. The wife and I got lucky our daughter decided to nap and our son (a toddler) enjoyed some of the art, but mainly riding the elevator and saying hi to strangers.
Beautiful collection very rich and excellent explanations
Very inspiring place. Try Artivive app while you are in there. You will enjoy it!
Not as big as I thought it would be. A lot of the art is reproductions on display.
The Albertina is my absolute favorite museum here in Vienna. The exhibitions are wonderfully organized and the staff is always polite and nice.
Location fine, drinks OK, service poor, prices outrageous. There are better locations in the city.
Very good exhibition.Very many people, but could still admire everything.
Good museum besides palace. A must in Vienna. We also caught a Warhol expo and it was the best of the best.
Collection of modern art to take your breath away, a must visit.
For Monet exhibition, come before 10:00. By the time I was leaving the museum around 12:00, the rooms were packed, literally a hundred people per room.
One should be interested in the artists. But you can also look at part of the state rooms and see how people tried to present themselves at the time.
Very interesting wonderful place for art. Very carefully selected works
Always happy. The special exhibitions are always highly recommended. This year was my favorite.
High quality exhibitions, but avoid weekends if you want some piece and quiet. ;)
Like everything in Vienna, majestic building, and excellent exhibition of paintings by monet, Picasso and others.
Stunning museum, constantly special exhibitions, you have to go back and that very much
Beautiful, unique art. Complemented by structured architecture
Always interesting exhibitions in this beautiful building.
Good interesting, but slightly crowded museum with an excellent collection of artists of the early 20th century. Tickets are best to buy in advance via the Internet, then he needs to stand in a long queue. The ticket costs 14 euros. The museum has a cafe and a shop.
The guards even determine at what level you have to wear the mask. It is not enough to cover the nostrils, no, you have to pull up the mask. Very uncomfortable, you can not relax and is downright followed by staff ..... And the whole thing although between the visitors min. 2-3 meters distance was ,,,, possibly. 10 people in one room ... awful
Great collection of masterpieces. Not very interesting for small children.
Magnificent gallery! Excellent permanent exhibition, allowing to see the works of masters from Impressionists to modern art. Interesting thematic temporary exhibitions.
Great museum with great painters. It is very well organised and the guides are very good! Really recommendable. I suggest you go quite early or late, so there will not be much people.
Very beautiful. Too bad that in many plans it is not possible to take photos
Simply highlights exhibits an unforgettable experience-thank you
Very nice museum in a historic building with impressively wide collection. If I lived in Vienna, I would have an annual subscription.
An excellent museum with a priceless collection of art. So far I was the most liked to visit in Vienna. On the first floor there is the furniture of your time as a palace, I was delighted, everything was very well More
Amazing exhibition of "Monet to Picasso" and also the contemporary art!
A little longer wait at the cash desk, but otherwise a good selection of different works by different artists.
I want to go back to Vienna to spend more time here.
The second floor will reopen on 16th of February but the rest of the exhibition is truly worth visiting
And ideal for art lovers, I was lucky enough to see many paintings by Picasso and Monet.
Great collection of art, stroller and wheelchair friendly! Staff is atentative and helpful.
Great collection with examples of a variety of art styles
Was at the film stills special exhibition. Great for me as a film freak!
Okay, personally, I don t like Picasso, but I also saw Monet and modern art in the basement very well.
If you're into baroque rooms, this is your place-to-be.
Always beautiful museum, worthy of a visit. Keith Haring's exhibit is truly impressive. If you make it in time go and see it, it will not disappoint you!
What a fabulous space. Wonderful building with incredible atmosphere for displaying art.
Today was a show of Rubens to Makart, Liechtenstein, The Princely Collections. Monet to Picasso, Batliner Collection. Warhol to Richter. Manfred Willman. Could not recommend going to see it enough.
18 entry fee is a small price for the quality of what you see. Unusually you could actually touch the displays even though you should not. Very few are roped off.
The staterooms are an incredible insight into how the aristocracy lived not so very long ago! Lavish wall paper, flooring, decoration, rugs and obviously art. Spectacular.
I had a snack in the attached cafe and it was delicious. Great latte, tasty wiener sausages with mustard and fresh horse radish. Excellent beef consume soup with fresh vegetables.
A great way to spend a day seeing some truly amazing art. Paintings, sculptures various art works.

There are two here. Museum and Heurige. The art museum was doing Monet, so I saw it naturally (although it was not a big deal). In Heurige, I ate big meat. Including the situation of the location, I got a little high score.
Not to miss Pierre Bruegel L'Ancien exhibition. Too many people and halls staff inconsistent and unpleasant with management of visitors.
Great Monet exhibition. Despite innumerable people there were only shorter waiting times and everything went to the complete satisfaction.
One of the most famous art museums in Austria, rightly! The exhibitions have always been very well chosen, especially the Monet exhibition this year was beautifully realized. Usually always air conditioned. Employees can sometimes be a bit harsh, but it's understandable that sometimes you're stressed out with so many visitors!
Fine paintings (Matisse, Klimt, Monet, Manet, Picasso, etc.) and can be photographed. Plus other temporary exhibitions. At least one escape must be made.
Wonderful museum and well kept as all Austrian museums, when we went we had the good fortune to see a very rich exhibition of Monet just inaugurated.
The famous gallery along with such as Zwinger, the Louvre, the Hermitage, etc. I recommend to visit as here are exhibited the works of great masters
Admission is free until 19 years, students over are given discounts with an ISIC card
The building has a free wardrobe and toilets
Wonderful gallery. Fantastic city for art, excellent value across the board. The restaurant is very pleasant on a sunny day.
A beautiful museum where you can see the works of Monet, Picasso, Rembrand, Gustav Klimt and many other great artists. Entrance to the museum is 16 per person. A good choice for art lovers. Part of the contemporary art is worth seeing. But I can't say the same comment for the photo part. It is quite easy to reach the museum, which is one of the first places that comes to mind when it comes to Vienna. You can take pictures of the opera house from the terrace at the entrance of the museum n One of the must-see places in Vienna.
Fabulous state rooms and diverse selection of art from the Picasso s to contemporary works!
So lucky that at our time of visit there was the full exhibition of Mone. A gallery full of art.
Very beautifull! Interesting temporary exhibitions but I do something VERY important: the Albertina has an extremely large collection of works that makes "rotate" every 5-10 years thanks to temporary exhibitions. Some works, such as the famous Durer's LEPRE and some beautiful Michelangelo's nude studies are not advertised at all and are on display on the 2nd floor, where there are real apartments (I think they are called that). Don't make the mistake of skipping them as we did thinking of seeing these works on display in exhibitions on other floors. Fortunately, half an hour before closing, we asked a guard!
It is an appealing museum. We visited it all for the Keith Haring exhibition. We were surprised by this exhibition because it was almost exclusively about violence and sexism. So I found the statue and the blacklight dream best.
Not much to see there, dont waste money on tickets there and find another museum.
