A lovely museum. Lots of works from different fields. I was not impressed with the other photography exhibition, yes. Lots of rooms furnished like a palace from centuries ago. You would not be in Vienna if you did not enter Albertina

2 really great exhibitions at the moment. 1) From Monet to Picasso showing how art developed from impressionism through various isms and schools to Picassion and 2) from Warhol to Richter showing some Post modern trends. Both very well commented in German and English. I was very impressed

Great.

A fabulous museum which takes you through art history from Impressionism to Expressionism to Surrealism. Cezanne to Chagall to Picasso.

At the time of my visit in December 2018 they had a mind boggling special exhibition of 100 paintings by Monet collected from museums around the world.

Well worth 16 (concessions 11).

Small gripe about mandatory use of cloakroom with an additional 1 charge.

Beautiful museum that hosts both thematic exhibitions and photography and visual exhibitions in general.
Very well kept and organized, the only thing that is difficult to understand is the location of the toilets.
You can photograph the exhibited works as long as you do not use the flash.

Beautiful, what to say! But since we were in the moment of Monet's exhibition, we spent an hour in the queue in the street! But even this did not spoil the impression. But here is the staff, who through one badge in their clothes and with their bags, while others wrapped themselves in the wardrobe, all of this was handed over, and even disappointed (((

Exceptional museum ... Free lockers to drop the backpacks. The collections are of excellent quality and the temporary exhibitions are worth the detour! We did the family visit before our 11 year old son who prefers More

Highly comprehensive art collection in an impressive building. The works are well arranged. The audio guide is excellent and highly recommended.
Nevertheless, high visitor crowds you can look at the paintings well.
There are regularly changing special exhibitions here.

It s really worth seeing with your own eyes! Three floors, 65 thousand paintings and a string of corridors and galleries. Entrance price: 16 euros + 1 euro for the wardrobe. By the time: you need at least 2 hours or more. Towards evening (up to 21 people work) in Albertina is less and somehow everything is better perceived.

Exhibition of nitsch, monet and picasso. Beyond the beauty of the exhibited works, the Albertina is a beautiful museum. The area of the royal apartments is very interesting, where I found the rooms beautiful and the original wooden floors wonderful

One our our best museum days ever. The Monet bis Picasso show from the museum s collection donated by the Batlinger family was spectacular. The modern art and the Alfred Seiland photos were phenomenal as well. Art that is stunning and challenging and the perfect setting to experience it.

In Albertinaplatz is the elegant residential building used in the past by the Habsburgs for their guests. The preserved collections are extraordinary (!) And the extensive permanent exhibition called "Da Monet a Picasso - The Batliner Collection" should be noted. The internal rooms welcome temporary exhibitions of excellent taste.

All so ... the questions I was asked about the Albertina before are misleading. Today I was not in the museum but in the restaurant Do & Co! This is located in the building of the Albertina Museum.
And there is also no employee in this very good restaurant which is called Albertina. If nonsensical computer-generated questions continue to be asked, I will no longer be able to give ratings. Sorry Albertina Museum is a world class museum. And the separately accessible restaurant Do & Co is also one of the best restaurants. Very nicely located, international cuisine and a good selection of Japanese sushi and sashimi dishes.

Nice museum in city center. Great views from the terrace. The artwork was diverse; showing an exhibition on a local artist, Hermann Nitsch, as well a huge and vast collection of classic artists like Picasso & Matisse. Also showcases a portion of the palace that has been meticulously restored so you have an experience that is wide-ranging and suitable for just about everyone. Only downside is there was nowhere to sit! no inside lobby, lounge, or waiting area

The pictures are unique and their descriptions very professional. But the ambience of the Albertina can only be seen in the staircase. The showrooms could also be in a basement or bunker ...

I gave three stars not for the works inside it ... but because we decided to go and see the museum on Thursday after 6.00 pm as it was shown both on the site and during the hours in front of the museum that was open until at 9.00 pm. Once arrived the museum was open and with free entry but only the ground floor was open, the first and the second floor where the works of Monet, Klimt, Schiele, ... were closed and we could not see them .

Disappointed with the recent experience. Bought skip the line tickets only to find out that it still has a line for people with tickets and that line is the same as for people without the tickets. What a joke. They now make it mandatory to check in jackets and they charge 1 per person. They also have new cloakroom rules - instead of plastic numbers they have paper ones that they print for each customer - imagine how much time it takes. What s stupid idea. Speaking about improving process - they are making it worse! 4 Lines we had to stand in just fir exhibition. Ridiculous. Line to get in the museum. Line to s cloakroom. Line to get to the level with Monet exhibit. Line to actually enter the exhibit. At the end also a line to get coats back. (Of course , if you needed to use bathroom - there is another line:)). Exhibit is extremely crowded. While exhibit itself (content) is great , the bad organization leaves bad taste.
