Beautiful museum, with permanent and temporary exhibitions, wonderful watercolors

Really nice museum. Children and teenagers (19 yo) don't have to pay.

Interesting if you have already visited the art museum in Maria Theresa Platz

Good and interesting tour and very nice exhibition (from Monet to Picasso).

Only the free guided tour on Wednesdays at 20 o'clock is too short, because you have to leave the museum already at 21 o'clock, so you can not take the pictures again, unfortunately.

1st visit, pleasantly surprised, beautifully decorated Christmas, friendly staff, 4 stars, because we had not dined here. Worth a detour!

Very nice special exhibition to Claude Monet, which gives a comprehensive overview of the work of the painter and his life. The scope of the paintings on display is impressive. Highly Recommended.

Beautiful museum! The art was fantastic and the state rooms are gorgeous! They are open late on Wednesdays. There is also apparently a giant party outside on Wednesdays if you are interested, not my thing, but looked fun for those who might enjoy such things.

Great exhibition !! I use the annual ticket for students (30 / y 15 / half y - single ticket just under 9 ). Since the lady at the counter always shows a somewhat more comfortable work pace, you should allow some time. I also find the (free !!) lockers practical (in the World Museum, for example, each lock costs a coin)

Very beautiful exhibition Monet. It is however regrettable considering the loans made by the museums and the number of French visitors that there is no French version of the catalog of the exhibition.

One of the real MUST for art lovers and others interested. However, mostly very crowded. One should choose the edge times.

One of the best museums if you are really into impressionist artist. You will get to se some amazon Monets and Van Gohgs.

Very beautiful and competently organized museum. Located next to the metro and the Opera. Good temporary exposure. There is a shop with not very expensive and very good books and souvenirs.

Interesting museum - I loved the royal rooms the most as they were quite intriguing. The user experience journey in some of the rooms wasn t great though- it at times, uncomfortable and not well aired rooms. The museum shop is definitely worth a visit - spent almost an hour there , so many amazing items. I learnt so much about Gustav Klimt

In a historic building in Vienna you can find some of the most important artists including Picasso, Durer, Monet and numerous contemporary artists.

There is an exhibition by Keith Haring recently. Until June!

The special exhibition on Raphael was very informative.

Always a highlight, currently the Hahnloser Collection, which is fascinating, plus the innovative information system that allows you to call up information on your own cell phone, and the shop is well sorted, you can always find good souvenirs and gifts, a must when visiting Vienna!

The elaborate, elongated exterior staircase is the smartest!

A very nice facility. A rich collection of images eats a pile of time but you do not actually feel it - there are plenty of places to sit and contemplate :) Compared to the Parisian Louvre or Vienna Belvedere is much more intimate, you can figure in front of the picture - unless it's a matter of hours (I was around noon) . The service is virtually invisible, does not push anyone away from the image as he approaches a millimeter too close in their opinion or has a million barriers. Great lighting allows you to see exactly every picture.

A very nice view from the balcony of the museum opens to the opera house, and you should definitely get to the show at 12 o'clock before the Anchor clock.

Price / performance ratio is right! Very pleasant and quiet to walk around.

Very interesting place for those who likes art. Exhibitions are very various, and there are like 4l evels in museum, all full od art. There is also a cafe and shop, not just to buy crapy souvenirs, but also albums and posters. Entrance fee is 14e normal ticket.

One of the best museums in the city. In addition to a permanent collection of the highest value, we stumbled upon a clear and truly well-made temporary exhibition on Raphael's designs.

I really liked this museum, located in the heart of Vienna, for the collections on display but also for the size of the rooms, for the arrangement of the paintings and for the atmosphere that can be felt inside. Obviously the exhibited works left me speechless for their infinite beauty. Reasonable entry price.

I liked that very much. For 16 admission then a lot is offered. Modern and historical pictures in one. The exhibition in the basement was very great!

Beautiful museum. Free entry for children under 19 years. Half the price up to 26. Admission for adults costs about SEK 130. Three floors with different exhibitions. Disabled-adapted building. All information in the exhibitions is in English.

Facilities are awesome, it has a really convenient location in the city. Expositions are well curated despite you should be a fan of the Picasso's or other artist they have in display, otherwise it will be another museum. For kids definitely it is a place will suffer, there is no interesting things for them. Entrance fee is in the high end for what you get, there are better museums to visit, definitely if you are in a budget and have to choose between this museum and some other activity I would recommend a second thought to visit Albertina. If you have visit several places and activities in the city, budget is not a concern and you are in the mood to see different paintings proposals give it a try.

Great exhibitions, it was just too busy. Maybe I went at the wrong time of day - 3pm ish. It was raining. I couldn't enter some rooms as they were so crowded. Ruined my experience. Buy ticket online before you go, means you don't wait in line. Saves at least an hr. I think it's better to go at opening time, to avoid crowds. I'll try that next time.

Very interesting museum with very famous artists and nice temporary exhibitions. You can learn a lot about different paintings.
