Before I went, I felt that painting was my main theme. Although it was also a painting after reading, it was not as many as I thought. Among them, there were not many classical paintings. Do n t compare with London and Paris, even if the Netherlands is more than here.

Good art gallery, but please note - the Warhol bis Richter exhibition was extremely disappointing. I hardly think you can use Warhol s name when there is only one, UNFINISHED artwork. The Alex Katz works were his worst. Could not find one Robert Longo artwork, though it was advertised. The other artworks were a joke. Worst exhibition I ve ever seen.

A museum to visit without hesitation in a very nicely renovated building. The collection of paintings there is impressive. too bad to have paid the standard price when some exhibitions were not open to the public. But for the quality and variety of works a 5 is well deserved.

I was playing Monet and Picasso, but it was just so good.
Please come ~
I went there on Wednesday because it was open at night until 9 pm on Wednesday, and I was having a party in front of me and the admission fee for the museum was free. The staff said that every summer is free on Wednesdays ~

Nice art museum in central Vienna, easily accessible by public transport. They have a few exhibitions over four floors. There is also a coffee shop and a small shop selling souvenirs. Plans to spend a couple of hours there.

This place is a must for the art admirers. There are masterpieces by Monet, Picasso, Chagall, Cezanne, Degas, Modigliani, Klimt, Munch, Kokoschka, Malevich, and many others. The audio-guide gives a lot of interesting information about the paintings. Plan to spend 4-5 hours here, if you want to listen to the audio-tour.

Not only the opportunity to see the building, but also an art museum. Currently, a very large collection of Monet's paintings borrowed from museums around the world. A must see when visiting Vienna.

The Albertina is "the" art museum in Vienna, which you should definitely visit. There are permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions. On our visit in May we were very impressed by the exhibition of the street-art artist Keith Haring-absolutely recommendable!

A must visit, and a lot to see. My favorite exhibition was the Batliner collection. It provided a lot of background information from the transition of impressionism to expressionistic art with excellent example paintings.

In the Albertina were living quarters of the Habsburgs at the end of the Hofburg. They were inhabited by Archduchess Marie Christine, 1778, among others.

Today they house one of the most important graphic collections of the present. The state rooms, with their splendor, are also worth seeing.

I love Albertina. You can come to Vienna and go to Albertina again. In addition to the permanent exhibition, new temporary exhibitions are being added on some floors and halls. In one year, there were many paintings by Klimt. In the spring of 2018, only a couple of his paintings were at the Albertina. You can watch Albertina over and over again.

With my wife we were visiting Claude Monet exhibition. First advice buy tickets online which fast track you through massive queue. We had very high expectations especially when visiting other museums. It was not wow. Price for the tickets is not in balance with what you get. However as an experience it was worth it. Keep some change with you to put your things into the lockers (there are smaller and bigger so don't worry you will not fit). Secondly get there earlier as the queue is smaller compare to lunch time.

The top floor has so much famous art that is so much the emperor s clothes. Scrawls and dawbs raised to a level that cannot compared with great art and yet we are told it is great so it must be?

The rest of the museum is amazing and luckily the Durer exhibition was on.
