2 stars for the organization. We had to wait longer with online tickets than people without an online ticket. It can not be something like that. We would have better bought the tickets there. That would have gone faster.

A beautiful display of modern and contemporary works of art. The one with the greatest impact is the collection of points by Nitsch that with its bright colors on large canvases arouses powerful emotions. The rest of the collections are by various artists including Klimt, Picasso, Monet, Kandinsky and other contemporaries. Not recommended for those who want to see only famous works by famous artists.

Monet, Picasso was great. There are also very few artists (Klimt, Egonchele, Rembrandt, Rubens, Chagall). International student ID discount is limited to 26 years old. I went early and there were a lot of people waiting to enter. Well-equipped with toilet and lockers. Sean Sculley was the best personally.

Definitely must see. At least a couple of times. It s better to visit it at the morning or in the evening, otherwise it is too crowded. Beautiful Durer, Chagall, Picasso, Schiele, Miro, Climt, Munch, Cezanne, Modigliani, Rembrandt and many others.

The Albertina is a cultural "must" Whether it is the state rooms or exhibitions by artists of each epoch.

Education does not just take place at home or in schools, but also by visiting the same facilities as the Albertina allows.

Personally, I still hope that there will once be an exhibition at the Albertina about the fantastic, surreal painter
Salvator Dali!

Here one recognizes the ideology, art with all its facets, to convey to the visitors!
Salvator Dali and I agree: The Albertina: 5 stars!

1 of the best galleries I've visited! Well worth the money. Be prepared to spend time. Wander around what is left of the Spanish apartments within the Palace also as part of the price. Good value.

A decent museum in the heart of Vienna. The highlight of our visit was to see the temporary exhibition of Maria Lasnig and her famous works about her theory of body-awareness. It was a great experience to see how the artist reflected upon her so deep and gave a form factor to her feelings via the paintings. Kudos to the curation team who did a wonderful job in positioning this exhibit right for the audience. We started with this exhibition, probably, because of which remaining part of the exhibits didn't excite us much.

My favorite gallery in Vienna. Whenever I'm in town, I go through it. Very nice and tidy place. The name of the museum comes from the name of its founder Duke Albert Saxon - Teschensky. The collection in the museum covers the period from the late Gothic to the present.

I was really looking forward to the visit today, as an Albertina fan, but I haven't been to Modern yet. But: Since today it is again compulsory to wear a mask, although with the "flow of visitors" the distance should be kept. Well then "bye", the ticket is valid for a year anyway and someday ...

My favourite art gallery in Vienna! If you re an art lover, come here!! The exhibitions change on a regular basis, and you get a glimpse of such a wide variety of artistic styles and periods. Some notable names from this particular visit were: Monet, Picasso, Matisse, Van Gogh.

Amazing collection that is let down by terrible service throughout by every member of staff we encountered. They seem to have rules and regulations that are designed to hinder your path through the museum rather than help you enjoy the visit and the art.

We visited on a cold day with tickets that had been pre-booked in advance. We were still made to queue, then asked to go inside to the reception for some strange reason. In the meantime the rest of our group was not allowed to leave their cloaks in the cloakroom, which, to make matters worse, is also against payment.

I have visited museums all over the world, this was by far my worst experience ever.

Really varied collection of art pieces. There is a wardrobe service and the apartments are nice as well to visit of you are interested in history or antique furniture. We went during an Egon Schiele manifestation.

Probably one of the most beautiful museums in Vienna. There is so much to see that you can spend half a day relaxing there. I thought it was great that the admission for students under 19 and the company were free. Personally, I found the exhibition by Gerhard Richter a bit too lean, but Vienna is not the right place to look at Richter. Absolutely worth seeing, of course, are the state rooms, but also the current exhibition of Manfred Willmann.

Amazing museum with a lot of different things to see. I particularly enjoyed the Hapsburg rooms and it was worth getting an audioguide for them as it provided some interesting extra detail.

The queuing system to enter and buy tickets was dire though, and I found it really frustrating that I wasn't able to buy a ticket online in advance to display on my phone like I could for other museums in Vienna. The Raphael exhibition was also uncomfortably crowded which made it difficult to enjoy. I went on a weekday in the first week of January - perhaps it was just bad timing.

This museum is a bit over rated, outside of the Picasso section, there was very little quality art and even that is a stretch as Picasso can be polarizing. The imperial apartments were nice but just like those in schonbron. The Hermann Nitch gallery was a bit of a joke, I wouldn't pay full price admission here

Very nice art gallery in Vienna. A little taste of everything. I was lucky enough to see the Monet exhibit and I really enjoyed it. The architecture is beautiful. Part of the Vienna City pass that is definitely worth doing if you enjoy art museums.

The layout of the museum is confusing and unreasonable. Some of the master pieces is great but not abundant, ticket prices are too high, I don't think it's worth 16 euros
Also, I met a bad conductor

Absolutely not to be missed!

Absolutely not to be missed!
There are permanent exhibitions with names like Picasso, Chagall, Klimt, Matisse, Monet and much more.
The pride of the museum's organization is its very famous monographs, so always consider yourself organized during the period in which you visit Vienna. For example, an astonishing monographic book on Monet has just ended, with dozens and dozens of his works, borrowed from all over the world, which traces his entire life. An incredible emotion!
The complete tour of the museum requires at least half a day.

This building has a dual function. You can visit the rooms of the building and at the same time see interesting exhibits. We have seen rubens and other Dutch masters, chagal, monet, picasso, klimt, miro. The ticket price is worth the visit.
