If you haven't seen how dedicated people can be for art, visit Albertina. The collection of paintings is huge and magnificent. For an art lover he can spend entire day admiring the beauty of each painting.

A beautiful museum with special exhibitions and an impressive collection of its own.
Unimportant negatives are: too few lockers and a too small cafe-restaurant, which means there are considerable waiting times for drinking a cup of coffee. Fortunately you can leave the building and come back later (with sticker!) To use something in the neighborhood. But the collection is the most important, that's what you come for.

Museum that houses some works by Picasso and Monet, there is a beautiful staircase leading to the entrance where, however, it is impossible to take a photo yourself. It also has an escalator for those who have difficulty climbing. On the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of Helmut Zilk-Platz

A really impressive building with a lot of history that everyone who visits Vienna has to visit. Inside is a wonderful, diverse exhibition spanning several floors. The visit is not only worthwhile for art lovers and historians!

disappointing expo Monet ... medium snap and a lot of minor works; It should also be known that when there are large exhibitions, the permanent collection is only very visible or in the form of facsimiles (!!!) very disappointing; no audios g uides in french, another big disappointment

The exhibition changes from time to time, so I have fun to visit. One year ago, the Bruegel print exhibition was good. This month's Impressionist exhibition and Rubens relations were interesting contemporary art underground. It is permanent and you can also visit the rooms of the palace.

The art is great, but the museum itself is really awful. The space is small and it's over crowded. You have to wait in 2 lines: one prior to entering the ticket area and the second one for the tickets. I got a mobile guide, as they were out of audio guides and I couldn't use it because a) 2 of the exhibitions were not included in the audio guide b) the mobile signal was bad in the museum, hence the internet worked rather badly. On top of that the museum staff is rather stressed or simply ignores extra questions people might have. I asked the girl validating my ticket something and she was very expeditive. When it comes to the museum rooms, they're really small and you've got 20 people looking at the same famous painting...Honestly I couldn't enjoy it. It felt claustrophobic compared to museums in london, berlin. The sign outside says monet, chagall, picasso etc..., they have a very small collection from those painters...For 21 euros including the mobile guide, I was expecting a much more elegant/artistic vibe...

Fantastic art museum with high quality exhibitions...

Fantastic art museum with high quality exhibitions and some state rooms to explore. There is ample information on each painting in addition to well organized rooms and explanations of art movements so that you can fully understand and appreciate what you are looking at. There is also a nice terrace to relax with a view of the Burggarten and surrounding architecture in central Vienna.

I was visiting the exhibition called 'Pointillismus'.
I learnt quite a lot of this exhibition. The titles and the explanations were excellent, to the point and very helpful in clearing the background and the process of this style of art.
I am looking forward to the next exhibition !

Love this place and its surroundings. Seen some of my favorite artists and exhibitions here. Can become a bit crowded and entry is not cheap. The souvenir store is also quite nice. If possible bring your student ID or get a year pass, which I think is worth it when living in Vienna.

Was the first time in the Albertina today. I liked it. The rooms were beautiful and the pictures of Monet were beautiful. Had only 2 suggestions ....

1. Please train your staff, it was totally annoyed and unfortunately rude. Especially at the entrance. Also not so nice was the experience in the shop .... Lady at the Kasser was not motivated (wanted to pay and she teased me and said what I wanted). Maybe everyone was stressed by Christmas .

2. The toilets at the entrance to the Monet exhibition smell like old urine ... hard to bear. We were there at 9:30 am. The plan was last cleaned on 27.12 at 11:00. Would be fine if they look a little bit more on it and maybe with room fragrances could improve the smell.

Important for visitors / visitors right at 9:00 there is a lot going on and you have to hand over your wardrobe before Mnan / Frau buys tickets.
