Good food but little bit costly; good shopping options like jewelry, trendy clothes, blankets, utensils, homemade snacks, unique decorative items; rode ropeway, attended RV demolition show which was good, overall good family fun

The weather was... Lines not that long, rides scary and twisty as they should be. Wide Variety of food choices and to escape the heat the Race Track beckoned...my horse 'Gotham Desire' came in 3rd. Had a lot of fair time fun that brought back a lot of memories from my yesteryears.
Great place and parking is easy just be aware how narrow the exit and entering parking is as well as the fact that the parking lot is not paved road so don't bring your nice cars?
RV show was great, they could of had more A class coaches. Now charging 18 dollars to get in. I think that's a little high. Don't know if I'd go back at that price.
Wonderful the jewlry the hobbies the food i missed the chickens this year they didnt have any they had all kinds of venders selling things Demonstrations to scooters for one they have vibrating chairs make you feel good. Liz van vleet.
Pro: nearby parking, variety of things to see like rides, barn animals, magic shows, arts and crafts, carnival food. Con: food overpriced but normal for any fair, must pay to park, very hot with little shade in food areas so need to go see barn animals or art indoors to cool off.
Nothing but hospitable to us. Were able to make accommodations over the phone after answering questions. Great staff that really care about what they do.
Really nice fairgrounds; lots of big, old trees; lots of grass, lots of shade. Friendly, lots of families, great location off 680; easy in&out; parking right by entrance gate. Oh, and lots of cool events like the Good Guys Hot Rod Show and Swap Meet
This place is amazing! I had a wonderful time. I also felt safe to park due to the patrol of local law enforcement. Freaking awesome sauce! My favorite part of the day was about mid day when I walked into a building and got a few Carmel apples and a long free massage. Thanks ! -Kali
I went there for dog adoption fair sponsored by KTSF 5 CBS in Bay Area and Pet Food store. County faire also there too . Very spacious . Very comfortable. I enjoy it
Many things to do here. It's not just the fairgrounds... Many attractions including many Goodguys car shows.
It is also a very popular place for people to park their cars and commute to their place of work. There is also a train station across the road that many commuters use to catch the train to work. All in all so many things to do here. Take a look around and plan your day..
We were there for an extended period of time and the extremely small spaces got to us. The bathrooms are typically clean, though often the showers are a bit disgusting. Staff is pleasant to deal with. The person that drives around at 8pm with his light flashing is unnecessary and annoying. Not bring able to have a fire is horrible, when you are used to having one everywhere else you go. All in all, it's a fine place, if you only need to stay a few days, though would NOT recommend for anything more than that.
I have been coming here since forever! Every year. Mostly for Bubbas BBQ!! But of course..cotton candy!!! I can spend the whole day here, shopping, watching shows, eating, people watching. I love it !!
I'm here for the Good Guys event and it is a beautiful day! The cars are beautiful and the grounds are amazing! There is heaps of shade and the chair lift that goes through the middle of the grounds is a great way to see everything from another perspective.
Alameda County Fair has been around for over 100 years. It always delivers fun for the whole family. I hope it goes another 100 years and beyond! Thank You Pleasanton for never disappointing!
There is always something that is great fun happening here they got the fair and the good guys car show, gem shows, home and garden shows and the nor Cal night market this is a great place and to top it all off they have horse racing!
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with our eldest daughter and our grandchildren. We ve been attending this fair since 1974, unbeatable family value, too much to see and do in one day.
