Glad there are still fairgrounds in these metro areas.
Clean updated facilities, plenty of security. Beautiful grounds.
Clean facility with plenty of access to restrooms and air-conditioned Halls 4 warm days. Could use some stationary maps to help guide customers around the facility and not have to rely on event coordinators to provide the map. But otherwise a pleasant experience with plenty of shade and venues
RV Park staff were terrible during the four months we endured this HeII hole. Campers are packed in like sardines - except for the camp hosts who were provided the only spaces with room on either side. The person calling himself manager (later found out he's not actually a manager) is a young man named Anthony Wiener. He was the absolute worst. My advice to anyone considering parking their RV there is to avoid this place like the plague. The two parks there are horrid but are very popular with the local illegal alien community.
Going here for just a relaxing summer time with your family is a beautiful thought at first. When you enter, there are entrance, parking, rides, food and a whole lot of spent money. Be sure to bring lots of cash because you are going to spend money like it is flying out of your hands!
SAVE YOUR PARKING LOCATION. Lovely place but getting back to your car could easily turn into a 1 hour game of 'Find your Car'. We went there, late in October - early afternoon, leaving our Jackets in the car and tried to return back around 7, with the temperature dropping and the wind picking up speed. We ended up searching for our car for almost 50 mins with the cold wind blowing and finally decided to book an uber. By some twisted stroke of luck, we found our car just before booking a cab. Their parking can be a maze sometimes
Visited the Scottish Festival. Very fun and nice grounds!
Fun rides, great animals, clean facilities, deep fried fair food. All in all, a good time at the fair.
The festival lasted for three days and our visit to it on the third day, the festival includes various games and prizes and the sale of clothes and antiques and souvenirs as well as a concert and various food shops
Omg! Played Bingo for the 1st time & won $1150 total.. I had an amazing time. The fairgrounds, where more than, I expected it'd be.. my husband played the horse races & won great money. We played scratcher & won money. The employees in the whole facility we encountered, we're more than helpful.. they all displayed great customer service.. they all went above & beyond, things we asked of them.. the fairgrounds where clean & well maintained.
We both had an amazing time & we will be back in the future. Thank you to everyone!
Free parking if you take commuter shuttle for Apple, Google
I liked the fair. If you buy the pass for all games before 1 the price seems very good
We went here for The Good Guys Car Show & Swap Meet. It s a great experience for the whole family! There are so many beautiful show cars and they even have some for sale! Their swap meet is where you can find those hard to find parts for any car and maybe get a little muscle car expertise as well.
On another occasion, we also attended the Night Food Market. That was such an amazing experience! So many good vendors to choose from! Lots of drink vendors too! Bring the whole family to come and try the different food they serve. My husband ate Bone Marrow that had actual 24k gold in it! They even put some in their Ice Tea!! It was awesome!! There were lots of people in line so buy your tickets online and get there early so you re first in line. Parking is usually $10. We had an amazing time!
I highly recommend both events. The fairgrounds are so nice and well kept.
Sooo bored, dunno wat else to say....how's everyone???
This place is awesome! Came here for the Good Guys car show, usually come in the summer too for the Alameda County Fair. Large fairgrounds with plenty to do.
It great place to spend one full day with family and friends during the fair time. You can find all types of games to babies, teens , youths and adults. Good food and reasonable price.
Great Scottish Games. Only thing missing is more toilets..
Good Guys Car show. The weather was Great. Lots of cars. The swapmeet was full to the max
Just use the free parking spot for coach :) , very safe
Lots of beads. Took my 4 year old to buy beads. The booths had lots of different options. People were friendly
The Concert was really nice Con Funk Shun was playing that night
Good time at the fair lots of interesting people and lots of things to do and see
You'll pay what a twelve pack costs for a single beer. You'll spend twelve dollars for a single alligator kebab. Salespeople will urge you to buy their gimmicky tat. You'll marvel at fifty rough copies of the same art assignment done by fourth graders.
And yet, it could be worse.
Fun, have gone 7 times. Great place to meet old and new friends.
Hope people do not park in residents parking or in front of their houses
Great big fair grounds super helpful for us to have AC in the buildings plenty to see during fairs and festivals. Good parking. More than one entrance is helpful.
Always something going on there. Fair, goodguys, home shows, stable cafe, etc...
My family had an AWESOME time the kids had so much fun on the rides, and the food was so delicious .
This was the first fairground that I found that had clean toilets and a lot of portables. The portables were not the cleanest but they were offered in the locations near where a lot of the drinkers were so it kept the drunks from peeing on the toilet seats and floor of the interior toilets. I spent all day here for the good guys car show.
Very basic -- with hookups, a laundry, and propane offered for sale at almost double the going rate. What it has going for it is location. One of the only places to stay in an RV with hookups in.the East Bay. RVs are packed in like sardines on.gravel, no picnic tables or even space to set up a grill, table and chairs; unless you like picnicking on top of your neighbors sewer dump.
Haven't been for over 15 years. A lot better than it used to be. Couldn't get my grandson out of the petting zoo. Food was excellent.
Love this fair. It has musical entertainment, slideshows, art exhibits, farm animal auctions and viewings of 4H projects, hobby, landscape, flower, art, and sewing displays and competitions, hawker things to buy such as jewelry, carnival rides, and fair foods such as corn dogs, gyros, ice cream, candy apples, funnel cakes.
Home town fair , bringing back memories of growing up
To the people that didn't line up for the bacon wrapped pork belly, I thank you cause that was ridiculously delicious and had it more than once. The food was amazing, the vendors with the different types of seasoning and spices, the different flavors of balsamic vinaigrette, you're the real MVP's. It's probably the biggest County Fair I've ever been to and I definitely want to go again.
It was hot, (104 F) at 5:pm!!! Few shade available and entrance fees and parking are expensive. You need to pay to take any rides.
The place is huge. Good parking, plenty of restrooms. Wear your walking shoes.
Went for a class reunion, very nice park area.Workers very helpful.
This year was very fun! Lots of shows. The grounds were very clean. Lots of cute baby animals. 4 stars for plastic straws and no compost waste. The county fair can do better.
It is the only place in the area I could find to stay overnight in our 38-foot fifth wheel. The staff was very very friendly and kind prices were not bad however the sites are very very uneven a bit muddy and lots of gophers with holes you could trip in. It's fine for overnight but I definitely would not want to stay there for an extended time. I can see where other people had made large ruts in the mud possibly getting stuck. Perhaps it would be better in the summertime.
Fun, people, horses, music shows, foods, rides now leave me alone and go look!
Can be a walk to gates but still the same fun as i known when i was young
Good rv show but in years past it had more supplement vendors such as camp grounds etc.
I went to that fair and on the listings it said it was open but there was nothing and i whent to right direction this just wasted my time.
This is a very nice fair. Go to their website for daily discount schedules. 4 air conditioned buildings to check out new products..wine, hats, pillows, nuts, grills, spas Tupperware, while the kids are off on rides. Worth the trip. Enjoy
Best place for family hangout. Parking is knightmare. And wait times for rides are huge over weekends.. My toddler loves this place..
It is nice that the buildings are air conditioned, but why is parking $10? That is so expensive, the same cost as the event I was attending. And water was contaminated with E. coli during my visit and the warning signage was very minimal... one easy to miss small print out outside the bathroom and on drinking fountain. I didn't know and washed my hands in restroom. They did supply porta potty style hand washing stations though so I washed my hands again.
Paid money months ago for season pass to fair. Go to pick it up and they can not find it. They tell me it could be miss filed. Will call / text when they find it. Cheap summer help. Have heard nothing. Will never buy in advance again. I was not the only one in line that had that issue. Never evervcd again. Wasted government fund .
Good Guys Car Show was great, good weather & lots of great cars
especially for March.
