It's fair time! This year the fair seems more open, which is nice! There use to be more things "crammed" in that are not there now and makes for a nicer walk when going around the grounds. There are alot of food choices too, different things this year, so that was exciting. They have the shuttle if you need it to take you to the gate or back to your car again, which is nice. (We used it after the fair, when your feet can use the rest.) Parking folks were nice and were on top of directing traffic.

Great fair with lots to do. Larger than your average city fair because of the horse races, exhibits and food trucks. Probably the largest I've seen in California but I don't usually go to fairs anyway so take that with a grain of salt. Parking is easy and accessible but also close to the fair so you don't have to walk more than 5-10 minutes.

Clean, somewhat pricy, but stage shows are interfering and main stage is very good, plus there is a $2 samples day which gives you the opportunity to have a balanced meal for the same price as a regular entree.

This place was fun but the food was not good at all and usually i like fair food, my family and i tried quite a variety and we didnt like anything but some of the chinese food and the hot dog bites, believe it or not but the corn dogs SUCKED! They weren't crunchy they were old Lol just being honest i would say the fair games were ok though and we had fun overall. But it wasnt worth it! I've been to smaller ones and loved it and the food but one thing i will applaud this place for is the lines, they were great on keeping their lines short or none at all wich was fantastic! And a great variety of fun rides u dont see at other fairs.

It was fun and there is a lot of stuff to do but it is very expensive but if you conserve your money it will be well worth it. There are many free activities to do as well and it is very family friendly. Sometimes the staff are very rude and obnoxious.

The lines werent that bad like longest wait time was 30 minutes rest were between 10 to 20 minutes. There was a kid area, it was fun. The employees didn't really care, or handle certain situations well sucj as rodes being over booked just kicked people off. There was plenty of food, and a whole area for kids, definitly Kid friendly.

Not a bad place to park if you can't get a spot anywhere else. Big, easy access spaces but it's dusty when there is any kind of event it the fairgrounds. There was a weekend-long event there that lasted till 1130 at night. Also, no pool, no cable.

RV park review. Only game in town on this side of the Bay. But spaces are tight but quiet at night. Facilities are clean. Trash cans were over filled not sure why. Dumpsters weren't.

Hot during the summer. Went to the fair. A lot of things to see and do. Cocktail fest was great. $40 for all you can drink shots for 3hrs plus free shot glass to take home. Couldnt beat that with a stick. Horse racing is also exciting. Kids love the horses! Alameda county fairgrounds always has great events. Even have a golf course!

Dusty as hell, it's true. With the lack of rain combined with hot weather, it's to be expected. However, the grounds are otherwise well kept, clean, the bathrooms are nice, and the staff are pleasant. Just remember to bring nasal spray or allergy meds if dust/grit is an issue for you.

The day was hour but thanks to the misting stations we survived it all. Enormous variety stores and exhibits. Food galore and the BBQ turkey legs were absolutely devine. Will be back next year again.

Fair is great food cost outrageous...$12 for a warm Burger. $6 for a corn dog, price going up a dollar a year. How do they get away with stacking burgers and hot dogs out in the open unheated. Where the hell is the health Dept?

This is the best there are many places to see games for the little ones and they will have the best time

I'm not sure but before you delivered some cans of food and they gave you the free pass for giving the cans of food right now, I don't know like this if they will do the same but this is great that idea
