Our long hunt for quality furniture ended when we found Al's! They are so different from all the other furniture stores, where you see the same cheaply-made stuff over and over. Al's floor rooms have a huge selection of everything you could think of for the home, and at good prices. Our salesman, Jim DeLuca, is extremely knowledgeable and personable and it's obvious that he has been doing this for a long time. He really knows his business, and guided us through the process patiently. Jim made us feel like we were the only people in the store who needed his attention. Our furniture was for a new home
and actually arrived earlier than expected, which was perfect for us since we moved in earlier than expected. The delivery process was smooth and professional, and the delivery guys called ahead to let us know when they were on their way, which was very helpful. It's so nice to know that we will never have to shop around for furniture again...we will always shop at Al's.

The salesman, Jeremy, was polite and courteous, not pushy at all, and took his time to help us find what we wanted. Delivery men, Tavon and Jeremy, were the same. Delivery and set up was on time and went smoothly. Items were covered so as no to get rained on. We were very pleased with the whole shopping and delivery experience. Will highly recommend Al's Furniture as the place to go for furniture needs.

As I was on a shopping spree to furnish my new home, I stopped into a passing store, Al's Furniture. Here I found furnishings that were incomparable! Everything was made in the USA, very cute/attractive, was strong, made with great construction, as well as comfortable beyond compare. They also had furnishings for my new tables and walls. Love this place!! I will return. My salesperson was the icing on the cake. If you stop in, see Brooke!! Call me DELIGHTED!!

The furniture are incredible. The recliner is the best I ever tried. I don't allow no one to sit in it because sometimes I sleep in it and it is the best sleep ever. The quality of the sofa is superb. We are happy to came to you. Also, the service is excellent.

My husband needed a lift chair after having open heart surgery. I went to Al's Furniture and Mike Bare helped me with the purchase. The service was fantastic and we had the chair in the house within a days. It was there when my husband came home from the hospital and he is loving it.

In recent years my husband and I have purchased all of our furniture at Al's Furniture on McHenry Ave. This is because we find quality merchandise, reasonable prices and expert service. Our last purchase was two Best chairs. The Sales Rep who helped us was Cesar. He really knows the products available. He answered all of our questions, stayed with us and helped us get the best deal possible.
The chairs were delivered on Monday, 10/16/17. The delivery people were very professional (as usual). The chairs were exactly what we expected.
I have recommended Al's to friends and will continue to do so.

We've gone here many times over the years and have bought many sets of furniture. Our most recent purchase was a set of 2 flexsteel power recliners and an accent chair. I would like to especially thank Brooke who helped us find the perfect set for our family she really was super knowledgeable about everything and very kind. I would recommend everyone to go check out Al's furniture they are the best.

As always we received excellent customer service and top notch product from Al's. Caesar professionally guided us and helped us select the furniture that met our needs. We had specific requests and criteria we needed met and Caesar helped us leave completely satisfied. We will never buy furniture any but Al's. Thank you for another great transaction.

I had bought a television stand and was completely satisfied. Then I bought the dining table to match. When I had spoke to salesman we joked and said I had a week to return it because I wasn't sure about the space I had. Well the table is way to big and I thought maybe I could work with it but every time I see it my stomach twist . I should love for 1250.00 I called within week to say I needed a return they refused me . They said I could get an exchange well nothing else at this time would work all tables are to big !!! I wish they had explain it better or stuck to their word!!! Very unhappy every time I walk in my kitchen ...And the delivery guy is rude....

Mr. Delucia was extremely pleasant to work with. He offered all the right products and services I wanted and needed, My Flexsteel recliner is amazing, and you can't just go into any showroom to sit in one before buying . You can at Al's Furnture. You guys rock! Thanks again.

Everything went as planned when I bought my rocker. It even came in 2 weeks early.

Mike took great care of us and they wrapped the chair in plastic and tied it down in the back of my truck while I was doing the paper work. Great service.

We have shopped at Al's for years and spent thousands of dollats.Their salesman Ceasar was incredibly rude and arrogant.The general Manager Dan was little better.My mom and sister have bought furniture at Al's for 25 years as well.We will never spend another dime there due to the poor quality of service provided by rude employees

We were very impressed with Al s Funiture. First we arrived on Sunday an hour before they opened and were welcomed by Cesar at the door. He said come right on in. We decided on two power lounge chairs and ordered before the store opened. Cesar was an excellent sale person. We would recommend Al s to anyone for furniture and good service. Especially with Cesar. The day we were there there was no sales tax. Also spun the prize wheel and won a $50 dollar gift card to nice restaurant. What a bonus!!! If in need of furniture in the future we will return to Al s.

I would like to say delivery service was excellent. They called us ahead of time for delivery date. The day of delivery they called that they would arrive within the hour and were on time. Don t remember having such good service.

We bought Black leather Flexsteel power chairs. They are marvelous!!!

I bought a dresser from Al's Furniture. With the help of the staff I was able to find the perfect dresser, pay for it and pick it up at their wear house in less than 45 minutes.

We have bought several pieces of furniture from Al's over the years. Just bought 2 new recliners, and are enjoying them tremendously. Highly recommend Al's to anyone.

My husband and I had a great experience at Al's Furniture recently when we were looking for a new LoveSeat. Our sales person
Jim DeLuca showed us several pieces of furniture including three great sale items. We left with not only a LoveSeat but a new Sofa. The price of these two items were less than just the LoveSeat that we had seen at other stores that we had looked at. There was no pressure to purchase but Jim was very helpful educating us about the product and manufacture who made the furniture. Thank you Jim for all your help. We received a call from Al's delivery department 3 days later to setup a delivery time that would work for us. They were prompt, setup my Sofa and LoveSeat and made sure the power seats and headrests worked. They made sure I knew how to work them before they left. We will diffentley go back to Al's when looking for furniture in the furture.

We bought a two piece sectional. The sofa sectional is well made, durable 750 rub fabric and the color is very pleasing. Linda assisted us in shopping and it was a friendly and informative experience and absolutely no pressure. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for variety and good value in home furniture.

Good selection of furniture but the salesman that got to us first wouldn't leave us alone to actually look at what we wanted to. Kept following us around even after we told him that we just wanted to look at tables by ourselves. Definitely made us want to leave which we did after only being there for a short time.

Sales associate Mike B was a great help to us in our purchase of living room furniture. The time he invested in helping us select just the right style, size and fabric is much appreciated.

I'd like to give a better rating but I just can't. Customer service is everything when it comes to sales. Our sales person was Brooke and she was great. Very informative and knew what she was talking about. There were a number of other sales associates on the floor, all but one were very friendly. They smiled, asked how our day was, made positive comments on the furniture we were looking at. However one sales associate was rude, made a curt comment and I felt very uncomfortable. Like my money wasn't good enough. I'd love to give Brooke my business but having seen the same piece of furniture at another store for the same price...I will not be returning to Al's furniture. And to the tall, thin older man with white hair..a.k.a. RUDE sales associate, you are in sales and should treat EVERYONE who walks through the doors with respect!! I will never give Al's my business and you one sales associate to thank for that.

we shopped every major chain, all local furniture stores and were feeling like everything looked the same. My mom told my to try Al's. She bought our families dining room tabel there 40 years ago! I saw more chair options at Al's than all the others combined. We are not impulse buyers, so we drove to Al's from Stockton 3 times. Our sales person Brooke was the best. She knows all the details about all the lines they carry. She was very professional and extremely patient. She has a very keen eye for color and a great sense of decorating style. She was very helpful and pleasant to work with.
The chains carried reclinesrs that were less expensive, but cheaper quality by a long shot. A few more dollars bought a whole lot better quality recliner. Als will be our first stop next time!

This is the second time we went to Caesar to buy furniture, we were satisfied the first time with the bedroom set that we bought. Caesar was very knowledgeable about the products and manufacturers.We went to Caesar again to buy a table we are happy with the purchase. The delivery was great, the delivery men took great care when they delivered the table put foot pads on the table and chairs to protect the laminate floors from getting damaged or scratched.

If they don t have what you re interested in purchasing on the sales floor, they can probably order it from the numerous catalogs they have on hand. Al s prices are fair and their delivery service is fast and professional.

Great sofa set, power leather is the way to go. Arrived sooner than expected, delivery was quick and very helpful. Cesar Gomes was a great help in selecting just what I needed to fit my living room!

I have had positive experiences at Al's Furniture in the past, so it was the first store I visited when I wanted to buy a recliner and an electronics cabinet. There was a huge selection of Flexsteel recliners! My salesperson was Serita who was outstanding! She pointed out the different styles and options, measurements, etc and encouraged me to test them out. Recliners have come a long way since the last one I purchased 20 years ago! I am so happy with the one I chose as well as with a beautiful cabinet/entertainment center. The experience was seemless from purchase through delivery - even a follow-up call to ensure I was satisfied. Al's Furniture is a reputable family-owned business that I'm confident will stand behind my purchase should I have any issues.

Perry and I came in Labor Day Monday to shop for a new sectional couch. At the time we had another place in mind, but we didn t want to rule out Al s and their great reputation.

We were immediately approached by Joe Zarar (hope I got the last name right) and he asked us what our specifics were. After we described what we were HOPING for, he was upfront they didn t have that specific type of sectional, but showed us a few that meet what our specific needs were. He was never pushy, not trying to make us make a purchase, and very informative and answered all our questions and then some. We ended up falling in love with a sectional there we didn t expect we wanted. After we left, we were even thanked by a lady for coming in today, which honestly, just really makes you feel valued as a customer. I ve worked retail over 10 years and it just really makes all the difference.

We checked out one more place, but we re already sold on the sectional back at Al s. And honestly, the quality of the employee at Al s really made the decision easier who we wanted to purchase from. We called Joe at the store and made some last minute changes to our order and he did this with ease and no issues. We ended up picking out the perfect sectional.

He even sent us a nice little postcard thanking us for our visit and I think that really speaks volume of the type of service you get here at Al s furniture.

very attentive service, clean well stocked. However the piece we wanted to buy it special order 9 weeks. But I would not be afraid of buying anything there it's really very nice.

Very knowledgeable salesperson who knew what we wanted and placed the order. Item arrived within the estimated time and was in good shape. Warehouse personnel loaded the item for us and provided protective cardboard.

Ceasar Gomes was the salesman that helped to demonstrate the Flexsteel Lift chair. I was in a hurry and he gave me his card was very pleasant and explained 4th of July Sale would end on Sunday- this was Friday. On Sunday my Daughter and I shopped around at other stores and We were not impressed with and I wanted to show her the chair I had been shown at Al's Furnituure . I have lived in the area over 50 years and have purchased products in the past. I remember it started as Al's Unfinished Furniture. It has enlarged and is well stocked- in fact I ended up with a Reclining Loveseat and the Lift Chair. I love my chair and so comfortable to nap in,daily! Ceasar Gomes followed up on delivery and my satisfaction. A+ performance.

We purchased two recliners from Al's furniture and my wife and I are very happy with them. We received good service from sales personnel in making our selections. My family has been going to Al's Furniture for many years. We keep going back for their price, service, and quality furniture.

The sales people were friendly and helpful; they weren t too pushy. My furniture came in a few weeks before the due date. The delivery guys were great.

I was looking for coffee and endtables to match an antique cabinet. I looked at a few consignment stores and 2 different antique stores. I could not find anything to match the wood. I decided to check at All's Furniture. I found two different sets of tables that I liked. When i got my choice home i found the ones I picked were a perfect match to the cabinet. I also picked up a tv table within the set. My couches are a solid color. So when you walk into the room the focus becomes my cabinet that matches perfectly with my All's Furniture tables. I am so happy I purchased them. Alex the sales person was not in any way pushy in doing his job. He explained every thing at every step. I am not a real contemporary person mostly traditional that prefers my furniture beautiful and will last a lifetime. Thank you All's Furniture.

NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE...In April 2017 we purchased a love seat, couch and table and chairs from them, within a few months the love seat had a huge tear at a seam which took almost 6 weeks for them to fix so we had no loveseat to sit on, and now the fabric is coming off and they won't do anything about it...Says the factory says it's not a defect, even though there is the same issue at a seam. We have always bought our furniture at Al's and I have always told people to shop there. From now on I will tell everyone to avoid this store as they sell expensive furniture and it is cheap quality. So now I have a love seat that the fabric is coming off of and basically I have to deal with it or spend money to get a new one. Who's to say I won't have the same problem.

STAY AWAY FROM AL'S FURNITURE. And now that I read some of the new reviews I wish I would have read them before we got stuck with expensive furniture and very cheap quality.

This place is best in Modesto for a reason. The quality and function of the furniture they carry is fantastic. Their customer service is excellent and the salespersons arent pushy... I will say though that prices are not necessarily in the "budget" category in any capacity, but if you want something with a lot of quality, great service, and selection...this is a great place.

Jim is great. Very knowledgeable, fun to work with, gave us color options and showed us other models until we found what we loved.

Nice people, nice products, not much for any negotiating though. I like the old school mom and pop shop so you can haggle and make friends through talking. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking them out when looking for couches, recliners, sofas, beds, and a bunch of decor items too. They aren't pushy and they are super kid friendly so you actually feel good while shopping.

I purchased a recliner and then later a leather couch and sofa from Linda at Al s within the last 3 months! Linda was great at listening to what I was looking for, narrowing my search, in Al s vast selection! She kept me informed regarding the delivery, and arranged to have all the furniture delivered at the same time, even though they were purchased and order separately! Later I received a card, thanking me and my son Joey for our purchases! Joey is my developmentally disabled son and I thought it was really nice that she mentioned him on the card! She was also very nice during the purchases of listening to him and allowing him to sit while I looked around! I plan to ask for her again in the future!

Caesar was informed about all his products and patient while we chose a recliner. The Flexsteel recliner is absolutely perfect, electrically moves to every comfortable position I want, looks great in our living room, and I expect it to be part od our decor for many years to come.
