Great place for dinner. The one thing I specifically like about this place is the Mediterranean authenticity.
The GRILLED ENTREES ON WOOD FIRE is just an amazing menu and is the food I order the most. The ambiance is pretty cool if you are going for a nice evening. In the end, I have ordered KENAFA dessert and it was delicious. Overall, had a great experience.
Good place to spend time and have a good quality food.
It is a very excellent Arabic restaurant cuisine! It is a good reflection of Middle Eastern food. I enjoy going there. My friends like it , Arabs or other nationalities!
Outstanding food, service was fantastic, people are very friendly!
Too crowded. Waiter are not responsive to other than arabic speaking guests. Food was good but on expensive side what you pay for.
I go there with my family almost twice a month and the food is never a let down. its one of the best middle eastern restaurants in chicago by far
We ordered takeout as I heard great things about this place. All the staff, as we ordered and waited there, were very nice and attentive to us. I definitely would love to dine in there as well. Oh and the food was one of the best middle eastern cuisine I have had in the area.
Thank god for the reservation feature, we are given our seats as soon as we walked in. We had 17 people in our group including small kids. The restaurant called couple of times to confirm if we are on the way. Food was delicious Ofcourse.
One of the best restaurants I have been too and hands down the Best Middle Eastern food outside of Middle East!!!!
I also catered from them a few times and it is definitely my to go place for any party. The owner is super friendly and very involved with the customers. Staff are very nice and professional!!!
I would give it 10 stars if I could
Awesome flavor! Complimentary appetizer & coffee. So delicious!
Drive 30 mins for nothing! I called them ahead and asked them if they are gonna serve me if I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing, and they informed me that I am welcome. I arrived there 20 min prior to closing l, and they informed me that the kitchen is already closed !!!!
I haven t had better or more authentic Mediterranean. Awesome service!
Great authentic Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese food. Also great service and atmosphere.
Absolutely love it. Tho i dont come here regularly, but whenever i have been here with family, its always been wonderful. We were greeted by their amazing and humble staff, and were seated on our table within a minute. The appetizers were brought out to us within minutes and they were fresh, so was the food. Succulent and delicious, full of flavor. Loved every bit of it. Over all an amazing experience and always love going to Al Bawadi without thinking about other options. The place is ambient, nicely lit. Love their staff, every one of thems amazing and attentive. This place deserves more credit!
Great customer service. And really delicious food. Thank you guys!!
Doesn t pick up my call at 10:15.. to avoid a order.
Best middle eastern restaurant in Chicago and I have it on my top 5 in the US
They have really good food and their Oozi is delicious! The meat is always so tender and falls right off the bone. I love the rice so much that sometimes I start craving it.
They do need more seating arrangements though because every time I come on the weekends there is always a long waiting line and it takes a while to get a seat. We had to leave a few times because of how long it would take before getting a seat~
Food is good but there is one thing I don t understand .... over 30 min on hold just to make an order WHY WHY WHY ???? 30 min and I m still caller number 5 very bad for business
Clean restaurant. Many great dishes. I am a big critic of steak and kabobs and I think Albawadi will always over cook your meat regardless how you order. You can order your Kabobs medium rare and they will still be charred on the outside. The also often over-spice some of the dishes.
Service gets three stars as well. You don't get the type of service expected at this price tag.
A lovely and more wonderful restaurant is the nicest in Chicago
I called today to order food, the receptionist said rudely that she doesn t understand Arabic and she just hung up on me. I called again and she picked up again and said the same thing and hung up on me again. I speak English but when I heard her saying Albawadhi can I help you I though she was Arabic from her accent, that s why I talked to her in Arabic. She said rudely he speaks Arabic then hung up. I don t know what s wrong with speaking Arabic. I spend $80-150 weekly in Albawadhi, I feel sorry for that. I would rather eat McDonald s and have good customer service then eat for free at Albawadhi with rude and disrespectful costumer service.
Beautiful and tidy, but it closes early on weekdays
Took over than hour for our food to come bad service I will never go with family there I ordered food that didn't came to table too
Quality of food was excellent ,service was fast and respectful owners
Best middle eastern food in the US. Nothing compares to their food. Service is also great
I go to this restaurant all the time and have even ordered catering. The reason for the 1 star is twice now I've been refused service during Iftar even though I had a reservation. I've been refused service because I am a, "foreigner" aka a white person. In their own words, " ... ". Which means, there are no foreigners here, let them go. Just because I dont look like an Arab, doesnt mean I cant understand you, nor does it mean I dont need to eat after fasting... very disappointing.
Ive been here a billion times. So instead of writing a lengthy love letter, I'll say just GO! But be warned u can't just walk in most of the times. They do welcome walkins but because they have this reputation of the best middle eastern restaurant in all of Chicago, I would make a reservation a day in advance just to be safe.
Friendly service , I went there for lunch early dinner the falafel was very tasty but the size of them and the quantity was pretty small for the price they re chickpeas ,hummus was nice and creamy the kebabs was ok .
Good kufta, and roasted Lamb. Very unorganized and confused. Their staff has no clue of what is going on . big lack of management. I would not come back
Love this place and environment. Good is awesome, especially the chicken toshka. Make sure you get there in advance because always busy.
Mediterranean food, Arabic meals, best shawarma ever..
This is the only place I can invite any gust is new in this area and all my friends I invited them were so happy and they will go again
Supreme taste & magnificent selection. Some of the best middle eastern food I ve ever tasted. Well worth the drive for the experience.
The food is super tasty and the staff there are friendly and approachable
Best middle eastern grill I have eaten from in America. The food here is better than the food in Dearborn Mi which has the largest Arab population in the U.S. I definitely recommend this place.
Great food, great price, and huge portions. Easy to share an appitizer and an entre.
Wow this place it just traditional the food is really good the place the people just wow
Quality of food and taste is always 5star. Never had a bad food day. Service was excellent. Just didn't like the hot air blowing on us, making us feel extremely warm.
Outstanding food, the service was superb, and not super expensive prices. Overall a must go!
Go with a group of friends and you will have the best time there
First time at Al Bawadi Grill and loved the food. Service was fast and friendly. Price was typical and serving sizes normal.
Clean and good food, but not woow, the pricess really high comparing to the amount of food they serve
As usual, food was excellent , konafa was unbelievable and most exceptionally is our waitress Wafaa. She went above and beyond what is expected of her. Job well done..all the very best.
The best Middle Eastern food in the South west suburbs and in all Chicago! Great tasting food and atmosphere.
Not well organized for large group of people. Food is usually more delicious when served individually rather than for a group. Very disappointed with food and service
The food and service is great. Definitely recommend to anyone.
All the food was amazing, it also came very quickly!
Ehh....food quality went down, from what I heard their former chef went to Fattoush. Not very hospitable and cramped. They really rush you to leave.
Great food.
The best I had is Kunafa, fresh and so tasty
The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The online schedule (on Google) is inaccurate though, and they're overpriced.
Soo good food for a Reasonable price. Interior is amazing, especially the food. Would recommend.
I really liked this place a lot, I been there about 3-4 times and always had the best experience from food to service, my friends finally back from school and we decided to go there to eat together after so long! We get there we ordered the large platters 2 of them the $99.99 one and one of my friends wanted a shawarma sandwich, we asked for the food together, hot nice food, a cup of tea for each one of us before the food! We waited waited waited, the tea didn t come, my friends sandwich came out and our food came out after 30 mint of waiting, my friend tried to tell them the sandwich got cold and they said sorry it s what its ...? We asked for the food together! They didn t care or act like they heard us talking to them, we started eating one of the platter was really really cold ! So we told them this is cold and they said sorry we can t do anything about it .... we asked for a nice hot food and all together..? They ignored us ! And we asked for drinks and the drinks weren t even hot ! They weren t even cold drinks :( we asked for ice they didn t bring us ?? If you guys don t want to serve us let us know we will leave and we ended up asking 3 times for the tea after the food and it finally came in but it was cold no one drink it so paid and left and I felt it was my fault for taking my friends to eat at this place !!! Really disappointed and would like the owner it manger to message me !
This is a good presentation for Arabic food to the world. I strongly recommend it.
Great, family friendly restaurant. High quality food, and good service.
Soo delicious! It's my favorite arabic restaurant in Chicago. I highly recommend it.
This is now the second restaurant that sends me spam via text messaging.
Love the tent-like ambiance and decor. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was excellent and as most Mediterranean restaurants they have plenty of Keto-Friendly options. It is kid-friendly & we loved the energy the staff brought to the tables celebrating birthdays!
Very delicious mideterrean food. Excellent services. The owner is super nice he served us the food himself. We highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. The best of the best.
Always good spot for Arabic food. Mixed grill my favorite
Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Fantastic vibes, delightful dishes, fantastic customer service. They never disappoint.
Wonderful restaurant! The atmosphere is very authentic and original. The food and service were amazing. Definitely with checking out. Special thanks to Anas our wonderful server.
Awesome middle eastern place with great ambience.
Food was delicious
Great food. Employees are ok. Too crowded and place is too small.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Their food is very delicious!! But it is a bit pricey.
