Al Bawadi Grill Review

I back and the food was great but the price is expensive I have to work hard if I want to eat there . and all the ladies work there is really amazing and helpful thank you so much

I have been going to Albawadi since they opened years ago. This is a true middle eastern restaurant that is managed by professionals in the industry. I have a lot of respect for their management and cooking staff, their chef and desert cooks. They are all part of a fine first class operation.

Disgusting food. Cold, not fresh at all. Extremely slow service, each part of food comes separate. Not organized.

The server gave my plate away to the table next to me, I had to wait an additional 15 mins without anyone offering an apology or even an update at the least, at this point I'm already aggravated and beyond hungry to the point where I wouldn't even want to eat anymore, at last this replacement plate comes out and both the meat and rice were cold which some "manager" offered to go back in the kitchen and warm it back up for me

Great tasting food, served nicely. If you go for the first time try their mixed grill plate. You will get a great broad tasing experience. Also, try their yoghurt drink with salt and mint leaves.

This is the place that always smells so good driving by, the food and service was excellent. A true gem in Bridgeview...

The food here is always good but today it was exceptionally good from start to finish. We shared 2 mixed grill platters, shish tawook platter, chicken shawarma sandwich and mutawwama. Everything was delicious and chicken was really tender and flavorful. We ended our meal with some mint tea and freshly made small kanafah. It was amazing.

One thing I would like to mention specifically is that the customer service was amazing today. At least 4 different people came in every 10 mins or so to check on us and they were very courteous. This was a really good improvement.

Al Bawadi is our favorite middle eastern restaurant in Chicago. The only thing is that it's very far from us, otherwise we would be here on a weekly basis. :)

Superb, delicious meals, beautiful, detailed atmosphere of pictures, vignettes, replicas, and momento of the culture surrounding it. If I was told this wasn't what an authentic middle eastern experience with meals, I never would've guessed otherwise. Buy some amazing food here now! I recommend one of the platters.

Awesome grilled meat. Got the meat kabob platter, great variety, loved the juicy chicken shish-kabobs. This platter was very generous and should be enough for more than 5 ppl. The kinafa desert was very good but too sweet.

It's a spectacle, and over the top atmosphere, but the food seems authentic and food is very good. The staff is very nice too.

Not sure about this restaurant. Food not evreything is perfect. Grill kebabs and chicken and beef kababs good . Grape leaves is the worst dont order it . Garlic sauce is no taste of garlic . Fries was over cooked . Wating a table on Saturday 30 min . Food wating after sitting 55 min . Tootally got mad and my son start to be mad too. Not organize place. Prices are good . First time and last time .

Don't like the way they treat you when it's busy and you don't speak Arabic, you will get table later and Arabic speaking supersedes you....

Amazing food, and friendly atmosphere! Their shawerma and kababs are insanely good, and their rice goes pretty well with it. They've got nice decorations, and it practically gives off an authentic vibe. The appetizers taste awesome too, like their hummus and falafel. It's a great place to eat with friends and family, and I'd highly recommend it.

First thing: staff is super friendly from the moment you walk in, thru the entire time you're there!

The food is delicious!!!!!!!! Highly recommend them! Its clean, fast service, fresh food, great atmosphere!! Their plates are huge and filled with food! Wish I had skipped breakfast today to be able to finish it. But I brought home left overs!!!!!

They also have outdoor seating and a smoking outdoor section further from the non smoking section!

Will be back!!!!!

I don t think Bawadi needs my review. All what I will say that I drive once a while from Minnesota to Chicago just to eat from Bawadi. I which they open a branch in Minneapolis MN.

Was a good experience to live Jordanian and Palestinian way of hospitality of food and service

Our first time venturing into this type of cuisine and it was fantastic. Our server Mariam was patient and took the time to go over the favorites and dishes we had inquiries about.

The food was great, stuffed grape leaves and samosas were our appetizers. Both fresh and flavorful.

We ordered mixed grill platter which contained two type of rice, kabobs including lamb, chicken and another type of meat. All were cooked well and was satisfying.

We also ordered quail platter which is rice and quails. I haven't had quail in over 20 years and it was wonderful to see and taste it.

Lamb chop platter was next, and this place knows how to cook their lamb. This was by far our favorite. This will be our go to from now on.

Lastly, we finished with Kenafeh, a nice cheesy dessert to finish the night off. We highly recommend you get this dessert as it's cooked fresh front of you.

There is no respect for the customer's time
If they tell you to wait 20 minutes, it means an hour !!!!
To go student, I waited 45 minutes after eating the last thing that was not necessary !!!!
The last thing Alwitter did not ask me as a bonafide !!!!
For 45 minutes I sat to find out that the witter was not asked for me

When I say this place is amazing on every level, I am literally not exaggerating! Delicious, flavorful. hot, fresh, huge portions and the most sweetest people ever, the servicewas on point! Loved everything! Only thing I would have loved was a glass of wine or beer. But honestly the food was so delicious we didn't even speak while eating! Definitely returning and absolutely recommend! Great for family dinners!

We always get the large meat platter everytime we go and it is always the very best. Food is fresh, flavorful, and always arrives in a timely manner. I drove over an hour to frequent this restaurant. Definitely worth it everytime!

They got the best food but they got the worst service I ever seen

Best Mediterranean food I have had so far. I am trying to find a restaurant better now that we have relocated. Hummus, amazing. Labanah, yum! I had the seafood mixed grill. The rice is awesome! Everything was delicious.

I heard of it a lot. But when I visited it, I found out that it has had good reputation but it's not the best. It's just fancy and stimulate the Jordanian culture.

One of the best places to eat mediterranean food in the Chicago area. They have a great ambiance and you can't beat their food. I was recommended this place by a friend and I eat here every time I visit Chicago.

The only reason I gave them a 4 star was the reason that the service was slow. I had been waiting to seat for awhile before anyone even acknowledged that I was waiting to be seated.

What a wonderful dining experience! I have never had Mediterranean food before and I do have to say we will be back. The atmosphere was amazing and we were greeted with such warmth, the staff was attentive and answered all of our questions. 5 stars!

Best in town! I love their food and drive 45 min to eat here. Staff are courteous and had great experience in last 4 visits. Their platters are huge and can feed 2 average eaters. Their Lamb Chops is my favorite.

Arabic restaurant located in America Chicago specializing in Arabic food, especially Levantine. Its food is halal and multiple. It varies between grill and popular dishes such as falafel and grills. Prices are almost suitable.

My family, friends and I had that most wonderful experience at Al Bawadi Grill. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Yesterday was my first time there but it quickly became my new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.

Wasnt is pleased at all! Service was horrible. Our waitress had an attitude and never asked us if we needed anything else or we needed more water or more drinks. The food was somewhat OK but wasn't the best. Over all this is not a place I would go back to.
