We recently used AK for an order of mats for a new wrestling project and the entire process of working with them was seamless and easy as could be. Their professionalism, quality with ease of service will have me coming back next time we have any project.

Great customer services. That mats were better quality than expected. They even included additional mat tape to put over the seam of a larger mat we bought.

I ordered a 10x10 wrestling mat for a youth program on October 29, 2018. I never received it. It was supposed to be delivered in 6 to 10 days.
20 days later nothing.
I proceed to get a sales email from AK athketics offering $80 off the mat I just order and never received (if I order a new mat).
I emailed them and asked if they could at least extend the sales price to me (as a good faith effort) since my mat was delayed so long. I was immediately told No .
I wouldn t normally be upset by really long ship times with zero proactive updates for a company but I needed this for mat for a youth wrestling program. I had to buy a temporary mat in the interim and still have not received updates on shipping or the mat itself from AK.
I will never buy anything from them in the future.

I purchased a balance beam and floor mat from AK Athletics for my daughter who had just recccently gotten into gymnastics. Unfortunately, FedEx lost our papa ache, but thank goodness for the girls at AK Athletics. They were able to not only speak to FedEx for me, but I still received my items in a very timely manner. I would definitely suggest purchasing from AK Athletics for any padding/gymnastics needs.

Great experience start to finish! Ordering was cake and we caught an amazing sale. We were concerned the seams would be an issue (we ordered eight separate 10x10 mats), but as you see in the pics, they fit together perfectly. Our wall and crash pads are solid and have held up well, too: no stains, no depressions in the foam after hits, and no residual damp smell like our previous equipment.
Fantastic customer service. Had a mat shipped in multiple pieces across the country and half of it went AWOL and ended up shipped by FedEx back to AK Athletic Equipment. When I called to follow up, they took care of things with minimal hassle and indicated they'd ship it again.

Great quality mats, wall pads and pole pads! The turn around was quick, and affordable to mat my club. I sent them specific specs to have my mats cut special to fit my space. They turned out perfect. 10/10 will use AK Athletics again when it s time to expand.
This company acts with poor business ethics and unprofessional conduct. They approved a return of a product so that I could order a larger and more expensive one. Once they received the product back that I paid over $800 for, they issued a refund of $1 saying it was used. I had the product for less than a week and called a spoke with a rep about the fact the product was opened only to realize it wasn't large enough. I immediately cancelled my order of the larger more expensive product. I had to go through amazon and file a claim through their refund guarantee program to get my money back. I am a high wrestling coach for a prominent and elite high school, I also coach for an elite club and coach our state national team. I will make sure anyone who listens from the wrestling community hears about my experience.
We had a private event for LEO's last week @ United Defense Tactical in Costa Mesa CA and it was taught by Ryron Gracie. We ordered the Red Wall Mats (2) and they arrived exactly 1 week prior to the event and they were accidentally shipped without adhesive. I contacted them and the same day I was emailed two shipping labels and they started to make our order same day. The order was shipped and received with enough time to install them and they looked great for the event and we love the new wall mats. Special shoutout to Suni for being a rockstar and making for a seamless process. Thanks AK!

While they appear good online, the customer service is TERRIBLE and if you have any challenges, expect to be treated like a #, not a person. Rude and aggressive, IF you can get them on the phone at all. Look elsewhere.

Ordered one of the fold-up chevron mats for my niece who is obsessed with gymnastics and flip and grip. My sister says it's great for her to practice on & good quality (they've bought cheaper mats that start falling apart way too fast) & all her friends are super jealous of the fun design :) can't beat free shipping either.

I had their wrestling mat for a few months now. I can say that the product is in very fine shape and that their shipping was very exceptional. They actually delivered it a few days early and I was very pleased. Wrestling mats are pretty pricey these days. I can say that AK Athletics prices their products very fairly. Would definitely recommend to any wrestler that needs certain equipment.

I needed a mat for my home gym in my basement. I am in the process of recuperating from a fall and needed to comfortably perform my physical therapy exercises. The staff provided excellent suggestions! I hadn't thought of covering the beam in the basement, too! The staff even helped me determine the correct sized mats so that I could easily carry to the basement. The mats and beam padding arrived as promised.
