Terrible service. I engaged a Tasker to install some doors and they literally installed them upside down, then did a runner with the funds. Another time, a Tasker couldn t complete a moving task on time and tried to hold my funds hostage so they wouldn t be penalized for canceling a task. Airtasker always sides on the side of the Tasker and can t even get your name right when they reply to support requests. I have gone back to using Google to find quality professionals where you know the reputation of the person and it isn t hidden by the platform. Only use this site for small value, unskilled tasks where you are prepared to lose your money in a dispute.

First time user. Had three quick responses to what I learned was not a good description of what I wanted. However, Lee my choice, after a phone call agreed to do the work which was less complicated and as a result he achieved a great result for me.

When reviewing offers for your task it is difficult to assess the person.
Some are good, some are not. Tasker profiles and badges don't tell you much.

Also in my experience, most airtaskers are very poor with time management and usually turn up late or reschedule multiple times.

Also, once you accept an offer, if tasker does not show up the onus is on you to prove that he/she did not turn up. If you can't, you end up losing your money (at least 20% fee)

Also, when you post a job, before you accept an offer all conversations on the task are public. Certain taskers come and hijack conversation threads - just too get a job or ensure no one else gets it.

Also a job remains in tasker search results at the top only for couple hours. So after first few offers you don't get any more. Only option is to accept what you get or repost job.

You don't have the option of inviting taskers or browsing through tasker profiles - which is a huge minus.

Airtasker fees are very high, that is why the good taskers end up charging way above market rate.. leaving you to shell the full fees.

Overall m not too happy with the platform but considering they have no competition in the market... we don't have much choice

I've used it for domestic tasks such as gardening and then technical tasks such as website creation. I love this platform. More people should use it to give the many capable people out there in the gig economy some business. The user rating system is unparalleled, if someone doesn't do a a good job, you can rate them accordingly. Never had that problem though. Great application and platform.

Was happy with the work and the person I chose to come out. But found lots of problems with airtasker itself. Like I wondered why i hadn't heard from the gardener so sent him a private message. Airtasker did not tell me he had already sent me one first which I saw much later. I also seem to not get notifications for every reply which made me have to actively check what was going on. Overall it needs a lot of work to fix it. But was happy with John; the gardener it connected me with.

First time using airtasker today to find someone to help me pick up a queen bed and base I found on gumtree and up my 3 flights of stairs. As soon as I posted my job I got responses from 3 people very quickly. I went with Jess and Jack who made an offer slightly higher than mine but seeing as there is a 22% commission it made sense.
They were really wonderful with communication and promptness. Will definitely use airtasker again for when I need a hand!!

This was my first experience using Airtasker and I m very impressed! I had a few flat packs to be assembled and within seconds of posting I had some highly qualified and well reviewed taskers applying to do this job for me either at the budget I had set or slightly above . In a couple of hours I had over 15 taskers keen to help out so I read through them all and decided on one who agreed to my price, arrived on time, was very professional and friendly and competent. I ended up giving him a $40 bonus on top of the $100 that we had agreed on. I will definitely be using Airtasker again. Brilliant!!

Was very happy with getting such a fast response from Chris. He did a great job, Would not hesitate to use his services again. However , I found using the airtasker site a bit cumbersome. Would like better options to choose pricing & quotes from different tradesmen , rather than me stating what I am prepared to pay !

Brett did a great job installing misting system, friendly and knowledgeable. Made suggestions on the installation which made the installation more efficient. Very fast and efficient would recommend him highly.

Thanks to Tanya and Tim for coming and removing an old, heavy 30 year old lounge. Though the lounge was hairy from a variety of dogs sleeping on it for 30 years these hard working, good natured people just got on with it. Tricky to get it out of the room but once that was done they got it into their trailer and I was never to see it again! Oh my! Bliss!!

Had a Tasker install a handrail. He obviously didn't secure it to the concrete properly because 5 months later it has fallen off and is unusable, not to mention it is covered in rust.

I reached out to Airtasker and was advised that there was nothing they would do. Absolutely no after-work care from Airtasker. Nothing to stop their Taskers from doing a poor job that will appear once after they've received payment. $450 down the drain, not to mention the $300 we have had to spend to fix it.

I highly recommend Airtasker as an option to obtain quotes. I received quotes almost immediately after I posted the request for help. Easy to use and it also allows you to review the person you assign the work to. It's easy and simple. No fuss.

I'm a job worker on there they let posters get away with abuse they don't pay after jobs complete and i have multiple times waited for weeks for payment and airtasker just doesn't do anything till I keep emailing them I am a single father of 3 kids I dont work for peanuts... I've completed over 600 jobs and the level of respect by posters lying and airtaskers time to rectify is wrong steer clear if you don't want stress.....

I love the idea, it's not a bad platform, I just really don't like how the payments work, I have had two dud people stuff me around after accepting, so of course I had to cancel the task as they were no show and no contact. But airtasker needs them to cancel the task before I get my money back which I find ridiculous, also the money should be going to our cards, not to an airtasker balance.

I have only used Airtasker twice but on both occasions the process has been really easy navigate & I've been delighted with tasks undertaken.

AirTasker is the most Discriminating organisation i have ever deal with in 36 years in business, they remove posts by the customer yet leave the posts of the Airtasker, AirTasker has NO Loyalty to its customers, The Platform of AirTasker is great, but AirTasker themselves is run extremely poorly, i cant wait to another company brings out a similar or the same Platform which will send AirTasker broke, Customers Beware of using AirTasker, This article may not be aired despite AirTasker states they will post Positive and Negative Feedback which i do not believe they will Post this Feed-back.
