This company is very dodgy and offer no customer support. There's a reason they don't supply a phone number. Very dodgy.

EDIT- they just responded to my review with a generic copy + paste response. So they can reply to reviews but not respond to emails? DODGY! All the positive reviews are FAKE

Nightmare of a company to deal with!!!! Allows fraudulent overseas workers to use bots to apply for jobs and claim completion on tasks that were barely executed. Airtasker support staff even more unresponsive than said workers. Never again!!! Be wary of using this company.

Got lots of quotes for my job. One was particularly cheap but he said he lived close by so decided to go with it. I was very pleased with the end result. Great value for money.

Its easier to post your task and choose the vendor among the bids.

I've used AirTasker for lots of jobs. Cannot live without them!

Fantastic way to get things done. Easy to use. You do need to remember to factor the Airtasker Fee into your cost. That said - still the most economical way to get things done and for me a 10 out of 10 experience.

I have only used the app a couple of times but it has been super easy and the taskers have been fantastic.

First time user. Very smart way of getting my leaking roof fixed. Posted the job and got already 6 offers. Most of them with high regards reviews. App easy to use. Clear process. The person I piked came right on time and was well equipped. He offered to help by cleaning the gutters which were blocked. Very professional and respectful.

The concept is good and I got the job I posted done with high level of satisfaction. The app however is rubbish. Really counter intuitive. For example clicking on a new message notification takes you to the task being posted and not the message. It take a while to work out how to get to the actual message itself. Any follow up work will be directly with the supplier as it is too hard to go via airtasker.

Extremely unhappy customer. Wanted a plumbing job completed. Tradie on airtasker said he was qualified and he did an absolutely horrible job. It ended up costing me double to get the job redone. Who on airtasker checks that these tradies are qualified? Lucky for us no major issue happened with leaking gas. Will never use airtasker again.

I have used Airtasker several times now and have been delighted by the skill level, promptness, honesty and pleasant nature of those who have come to help me out with various tasks. I would recommend Airtasker to anyone needing household jobs done that they can't manage themselves.

Awful customer service offering no support what so ever. They don't read emails and will try to get out of resolving anything. The company is very shady. DO NOT USE AIRTASKER

I found a great Airtasker to move some things from NSW to Melbourne. It s a really good platform and I ll use it again.

The technician went way above and beyond. There was a problem with my item, he willingly drove to pick up new item and assembled it without complaint. Extraordinary today. The service was easy to use. I would recommend Airtasker to anyone. I will certainly use them in the future. Such a relief to find such a service.

Easy to use, lots of options to choose from, reasonable priced

Easy process but one drawback is that it s hard to know what a fair rate is for a job.....and how many hours it might take. But overall a great way to get anything done. Very reliable too.

They get you a lot of quotes for your job very quickly. The negative to that is the cut they take from the tasker. Like uber eats, some fat cat is making a billion dollars from one idea and is now tearing all the profit out of an entire industry. Good for the consumer but not sustainable for the service industry. I'll only use it again if I'm desperate, otherwise I'll get quotes the old fashioned way and leave an honest buck for the contractor.
*They'll also shake you down relentlessly for reviews after you use the service, I always take a star off for that, so one star down from two!

A really easy platform to find someone to help you and then get it done!

Hi,

I just wanted to make a complaint regarding a job that was taken place today.
I had put up a task for 3 items to be taken up to Port Macquarie such as my fridge, washing machine and microwave and had put up a price of $450.00 exclusive of GST, I had a gentleman offer to take it and he came and loaded the items to the trailer and guaranteed that the items will be delivered safely, I had also offered more blankets and covers to prevent any damages to my furniture as they where newly purchased but the gentleman refused and stated that he has done this for a long time and the minimal piece of material was enough.
As he had reached Port Macquarie he asked me to confirm the payment and everything was fine and I had left a good comment, about 15mins later my brother had called me and said that all the items (fridge and washing machine) where severely damaged and sent photographs, which I have attached them also below.
I would like to make a formal complaint that the gentleman who had delivered my items is not trustworthy and has caused major damage to my furniture and my new washing machine doesn t even work as we trialed it , this is a financial damage to myself,

I would appreciate to be fully refunded to cover my damages and terrible service.

Very useful for those "things" that pop up and you need someone to do them. Discovered a few months ago and I have used for help with Excel, gardening, driving...

I wanted to move all my furniture and household goods to my new place and the guys did what I asked to do. They are fast, reliable and helpful, they know what they are going. I am happy with their work.
