Great location and the staff are generally very friendly and more than happy to help.

The breakfast smorgasbord has something for everyone but does get a little repetitive for those on select dietary requirements. There's so much there that it's easy for most people to just choose something else each day though.

Lots of activities for those of all ages. Something new everyday. Activities staff encourage guests to get involved but not in a pushy kind of way.

Drink and bar options are varied enough to keep everyone happy, kids included with mocktails, and the bar staff are very happy to allow changes to cocktails if requested.

Additional services are a little steep in cost for what they provide. Particularly the laundry service.

Room attendants keep the rooms clean and tidy. Replacing towels and toiletries as required. Always happy to take additional requests if left a written note as well.

Overall a magnificent experience. Will definitely be back.

Edit: Just read one review that scored Graceland Resort on their distance from the airport. I'm unsure how Graceland Resort have any control over where the airport is or in deciding that reviewer book a room at a location in Patong? I recommend people read the reviews and not just look at the star ratings.

Great place to stay for families, get the pool access rooms

One of the wonderful hotels of this coast located on the first line and on the cleanest beach, on the territory of a large number of swimming pools, bowling, a chic breakfast, several restaurants, EXCELLENT service, and that many important spacious rooms with two double beds, and there are two-bedroom rooms, water always hot, cleaning every day, in the room as a shower and a bath, a large minibar, if you come very late, you can relax without thinking about shopping and currency exchange !!!!

Great for swimming when staying in a full access room. But overall, the facilities are old and mosquitoes are inconvenient.

We have stayed there 4 times great place clean .staff cheerful and helpfull. pools amazeing .the eating places great especially the breakfasts its great for all ages .they do the best christmas and new years eve there cant complain it s also handy to everything .and to all the people saying its old will it is but good

This hotel and resort has everything in one location and the sundown bar actually overlooks the Indian Ocean

From the conclusion, it was a very satisfying hotel with a good balance of price and service. It is a hotel that I would like to take care of again.
Is it a little far from Bangla downtown and about 20 minutes walk? (If you catch a barnyard and negotiate, the cheapest is around 200B.) However, there are no inconveniences because there are restaurants, convenience stores, and exchanges in about 5 minutes. The location where the coast is in front of it is wonderful, and it is very comfortable such as going out of the pool and accessing the coast as it is. Towels can be rented in the pool. A small bowling alley. The impression that the guest is a lot of Westerners. The Japanese were not seen because it was the end of October. The hotel front desk and tour desk were also very helpful. Are you focusing on services because you are away from downtown? I'm glad to feel that.
We think whether breakfast is good as grade of hotel. It's a bit old, but it has been nicely refurbished and is much more comfortable than a new but poorly maintained hotel.
Kids events are held regularly, and the staff in charge (probably long-term local residents from Europe and the United States?) Go around each table with flyers during breakfast. My child participated in a detective program that walked around the hotel looking for hints and caught criminals lurking somewhere. There are pre-events in the morning, making detective goods, and production events in the evening, one hour each. The 6-year-old child participated in English with ease, but it seemed to be a lot of fun even though there were no Japanese people (I think it depends on the type of child). It seems that the staff was very kind and cared for Asian toddlers. The fee is only 150B (collecting only the material cost).
Children loved this hotel and wanted to return to Grace while staying at a hotel on the south side of Bangla. The price was low for the service and the stay was pleasant.

Big property with lots of activities to do across the road from Patong beach

A complete resort experience right on the beach and in the heart of Patong Bay.

We had a great time at this Hotel.. Staff were very good and helpful, the rooms were very clean... and kept clean. We loved breakfast buffet and the pool bar where you can cool off with a drink. The location is great next to the beach and close to good restaurants. You can walk to many places. But the service at the hotel was realy shown when I fell over and broke my arm and ended up in hospital. My husband was looked after very well by extending our stay and staying in the same room, Stewart organised / re-booked all the flights and leasonned with the insurance company. It was a great help. Never been in a situation like this before he was a god sent.... great service ... couldn't ask for more Thank you.

Room was fine, but the pool closes quite early and the breakfast is well below average for what you pay. Hotel is enormous but nothing special going on.

Meh - old resort with spotted renovations here and there...

We were 3 of 1000 guests in this hotel. The hotel reached its limits in all respects. Restaurants were overcrowded with huge noise levels, as were the pools, the hallways in front of the rooms. If you want to relax, should avoid the hotel in the European summer. The staff was usual friendly and very hard-working. Cleanliness - well ...

Love it im here with my husband for our honeymoon and love it.. the staff here are amazing friendly and kind.. even the taxi drivers outside they dont force you to go with them but always ask if they need help not to hesitate to call them.. the breakfast buffet is amazing here so much variety all you can eat.. rooms are spacious and clean.. so many pools here so theres alot of room to swim, they have sitters that you can hire if you want to have date night without the children and they are friendly kind and funny.. would so recommend this place and will decently be coming back here thanks Graceland resort

5 nights at a resort rated 4 1/2 stars should have been a good holiday for me, my wife and our three children...right? WRONG!

1/ A distinct lack of activities for families. Next to no interaction with kids. They have a kids club office in the lobby but it didn't extend to the pool area.

2/ We were told that there was some "minor construction" occurring... again a blatant lie!
A whole block with more than 100 rooms was closed down, draped in dirty tarps and concerns kangos and grinders rattling and grinding all bloody day!

3/ Unfriendly and unhelpful staff, particularly in the lobby and the dining room. Breakfast until 10:30 but get the before 10am because the kitchen staff start clearing away the food and utensils. It's like they are rolling their eyes at you if you are still there at 10:15 and they clean up around you while you are eating!

4/ Laundry! Don't get me started on that...$111 for a bag of clothes to be washed...no, that's not a typo, $111. You would think that guests get looked after? Only 4 bucks 100 metres down the street.

5/ Considering 99% of the guests we met and spoke with spoke English the staff had little to no understanding of the English language. It was like looking into a sheeps eyes!!! Staff pulled the 'no spaekata englissss' line during every conversation!

We were disgusted with this 'resort' and will never return!!!

Gracelands could learn a lot from their Indonesian counterparts. We used to think that Thailand was way better than Indonesia but we were very sadly mistaken!

We have stayed at the Bali Dynasty in Kuta a number of times and it is far superior to Gracelands in every way.

Do yourself a favour, if you go to Thailand don't stay at Gracelands!

Phuket Graceland what a wonderful resort you have. Our first stay and outstanding. We were upgraded to Grand Deluxe Pool Access thank you didn't ask for it just happened. Thank you to all your staff for making our stay wonderful

4-star hotel in Phuket.
There was a pool and a gym.
Both the sea and the downtown area were near, so you could fully enjoy the resort feeling.

It was the room on the second floor, but I thought that the room on the first floor that could be put into the pool immediately was good.

Breakfast can be eaten full in buffet style.

It was about 8,000 yen per night at this quality.

By the way, there were no Japanese.

Visited this hotel a few years ago, first impression was good but did not bother the rooms and certainly the breakfast, downright bad, you could hardly eat anything decent except waffles and pancakes from early in the morning, there were also noodles and even fries offered at breakfast, we had booked a promo room but were at the rear of the hotel, no balcony or terrace, if you opened the window to air, you were almost gassed by exhaust fumes, there were always buses waiting. Would not go back to this hotel, only positive was that we also had a swimming pool on the third floor.
The garden was also nice to walk in, checking in and out took indeed very long, knowledge of the English language also very limited with staff, even at reception. Hotel location was pretty good because you were within walking distance of Bangla Road, hotel itself certainly not worth 5 stars. Many Russians also at that moment who disturbed the peace every night, called to reception, nothing was done, was really impossible to do, they were singing drunk in the corridor and stamping on the floor.

If you are a swimming fan like me, it is a good place. Three out door pools and one indoor pool. The main pool has a good view of the sea beside the hotel. The side pool is a very long one with less sun shine with respect to main one. If you have sensetive skin like me and sun burns your skin badly, this one suits you better. The other pool is the smallest one, on the second floor balcony, with the best view of sea shore. An indoor pool garantees that you can enjoy swimming even in rainy days which is very common there. There is a very good shore with smooth sands beside the hotel . The food can be seved inside your room at any moment. The price is moderate and affordable. Hotel resturants are moderate ones with moderate price. There is a muslem grave yard beside the hotel entrance, which annoyed me. Also the smell of sewage in the road beside the hotel was very annoying. You can reach to the best shopping center of Phuket, Jungceylon by 15 minutes of walking.

Nice resort but the maintenance of the place could be a little better, overall it was a good place to stay

Staff friendly, location excellent, food was nice and good for value, rooms etc good but i was suprised that i wasnt able to order food to be delivered to my room from outside businesses, i had to wait at the gate for them. Apart from that all good

The most resort-like resort in Pai. The pool is really big and the water is clean. There is only one beach and one road and it is in the center of Ratong. There are plenty of activities such as fitness center massage, yoga classes and so on.

A really nice place, various pools, bowling... The food wasnt amazing and the room was okay

Comfortable facilities and kind staffs. Also this resort is quite far away from Patong town some 20mins by walk. So calm and spend time to get a private thing.

-Nice pools.
-Kids club staff are fantastic but kids club does not run for much of the day. For over 5 years old only. ----Babysitting is ridiculously expensive so did not give them the chance to extort us which it is as we can't get babysitting any other way. If you want a break from kids this is not the place.
-Gym facilities are poor at best. Cardio may scrape in as acceptable but strength equipment is second hand home gym quality and not much of it. The rooms are dated but nice enough.
-the whole resort is dated and repairs are poor and unprofessional.
-the music at the pools is unbearable with the volume changing every 10 seconds.
-Overall a pleasant stay but no break from the kids ruined our holiday. Give it a miss.

Room was clean (except for a serious ant problem). We put our welcome drinks on the counter in the room and a large swarm of ants came in less than 5 mins.

Only negative is that it is very much an older resort meant for families.
The resort is great for families but I think there are better environments at other hotels for groups of young adults traveling to Phuket.

Huge hotels with many facilities (pools, shops, ...). It is located on a quiet part of the Patong beach. You can cross the street and walk to the beach easily. It is also a short walking distance from the city. The rooms are spacious with balcony. The breakfast selection has variety. I like sitting at the tables outside as the A/C can be quite strong. The staffs are super friendly.

Beware that if you stay on the first floor if the low-rise building facing the parking lot, it can be noisy from cars entering and leaving as well as people talking and walking by your front doors (since the walkway on the first floor of these buildings are connected). After moving to the higher floors facing the gardens, it is much better. The wall seems to be quite thin, I think. Can't imagine coming here during the high season. Came here for a conference during low season. and had a comfortable stay.

To me, this place is quite good for groups, but I prefer stalled hotels.
