Roadworks, blocked streets, and no way to find my way with the GPS because of that. No way to park properly either during this period. In short, I took the left, and I ended up walking 500 m to find the FedEx building ...
More accessible than CDG if you are in the south, via the OrlyBus from Denfert.
Endless wait at PAF, we are confined by the hundreds while waiting to pass the checks because there are not enough officials. No respect for travelers !! It took us 2 hours at the start and more on arrival! On arrival we are made to get off the plane and we are put on a bus on the tarmac with no full sun on this day of 30 degrees for about twenty minutes, not a word, not an info, we had to ask for 'be moved in the shade !!
SCANDALOUS AND ASHAMED TO TREAT US OF THE KIND !!!!
Clean airport. Heartwarming welcome.
Very convenient shuttle to central Paris.
It's so well organized that each time you don't know where to go.
Paris Orly International Airport (IATA: ORY, ICAO: LFPO) Humart International is located about 14 km south of the French capital Paris. The international flights to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Orly airport was the main airport serving Paris before the construction of Charles de Gaulle International Airport
It is also known that the airport was originally opened as an establishment in the southern suburbs of Paris in 1932 and a secondary airport of Le Bourget.
As a result of the Battle of France in 1940, Orly airport was used by the German occupation, the concentration of different combat units, and used in the attack throughout the occupation. As a result, Orly was repeatedly attacked by the US Air Force (USAAF), destroyed a large part of its infrastructure, and left the terraces with numerous shells to limit its usefulness by the Germans.
After the battle of Normandy and the withdrawal of German troops from the Paris area in August 1944, Orly was partially repaired by the engineers. The airport is beautiful and all the services from the waiting rooms, cafes and restaurants are small, fast, good services, car parking is great, cleanliness is also very nice. .
The reception of orly airport. It's very, very bad. Incompetent because it does not guide you well of everything.
1h30 flight and more than 20 minutes to wait for the stairs, welcome to France! Same for luggage, it's shameful this management.
Easier access by car than Roissy.
Cars Air France commute with Paris
Horrible service. Poor english. Slooooooooow mooooooooe
Great, the metro or train was missing. The public transport system is great. Takes you everywhere. Use the NAVEGO.
I know the airport really well but due to some modernizations over there it was hard to find the rent a car place
Airport easy to reach by public transport.
The only flaw (not just), lack of shops and refreshment points after the check, the wait for the flight is stressful.
pk when we arrive there are renois who are tapping?
Airport very badly organized at road access. The different car parks are very badly indicated and it becomes impossible to find the nearest car park of our terminal, especially at night. The terminal to enter the parking did not work because more tickets. Prices are exorbitant. Sign boards to seriously review.
Airport saturates whether for its access as for some registration halls. The staff do what they can, but the experience is often stressful .. Parking and shops very expensive. Cleanliness improving.
I love the airport, especially that of Orly 3 which is very beautiful however I find it a pity that there is a very long waiting time. If not only positive I like it a lot
Seeing reviews I think we were lucky. For us everything was fine with a particular point in passing smiling and quick control. Great cleanliness. We did not use the parking.
Super friendly staff they even complimented me !!!!
After a 3h30 drive to pick up our family, we are not allowed to go into the airport to eat and drink a coffee before taking the road again and it is very difficult to access the toilets. Inadmissible !!
Unprofessional security agents, rude to people, they refuse to speak English, and they don't try to help none French speakers , worst place to visit ever , i'd rather visit Spain next time than this sh*tty, miserable, country.
Poor treatment at Orly airport
Last night, 12.5. In 2016 I traveled with Norwegian from Paris Orly to Copenhagen.
The staff's handling of the passengers shocked me profusely.
First, the check-in at the gate was obviously postponed. Next, the passengers of the trip in question were asked to move to another gate, after which the passage was made both slow and cumbersome for several passengers (the staff talked on the phone, switched in the middle of the check ..). The staff was rude to the passengers, i.a. one of the inspectors demanded that certain luggage should be in the cargo compartment instead of being hand luggage. When I stated that I did not want to get my hand luggage in the cargo, as I only carry important things and also had to hurry to reach my correspondence in Kbh, unless they could take another hand luggage, the answer was that it was MY luggage to be removed! Furthermore, the female controller allowed me to offend her for answering her in English (which was the language she used to accuse me) when I understood French ?? A little while later, when the passengers were boarding the plane, and I announced that I was going to sit in row 4, and so went by the straight exit, she whispered that she should see my boarding card (as if I didn't speak the truth) .
On the plane, the staff told them that they had been waiting for the boarding, not just in time, but that the plane had landed 10 minutes. ahead of time so they were completely unaware of the delay. In addition, they were unaware of the requirement to put my hand luggage in the cargo. Such behavior is unheard of, and it should be appealed to those responsible for this flight that the passengers are customers, behave properly and that we expect proper treatment from the staff.

2 hours to collect your luggage. 2 customs counters to support 3 planes. A moron airport, run by morons. An average organization.
Most important international airport in Paris and France
Yesterday Thursday 2/6/20 with Air France flight AF 6115, we were disembarked at runway level, no gangway available, we were treated to a platform stepladder to get off the plane, then we have to walk to go to a galvanized steel staircase which gives us access to the airport!
We were disembarked Orly3 at all ends, I had to reach door A to collect my rental car, which represents 20mn of walking through the corridors.
I specify no info, no communication, it was "Get by", poor Paris Orly airport, complete amateurism! Quite simply ashamed.
Access to the car parks leaving the West terminal are very poorly indicated, work permanently, automatic parking payment terminals that do not work, a quick response to the intercom, an exorbitant price, capricious barriers output and no indication to take the A6 motorway to the south. In short, a French organization.
they are liars. they take advantage of people. They remove the bank's money without that I use the car and I canceled 25 days in advance. they do not make money .. THIEVES
They didn't let me fly to New York because of my explosive belt, whatever
Excellent supermarked airport very fast landing as always, love paris
Impossibile perdersi. Moderno e organizzato davvero bene. Wi-Fi gratuito
Very long waiting files! The gate from which Transavia leaves is far from the airport and reachable by bus where all passengers are located for all destinations. This generates confusion upon arrival even among those in a row. The order in which passengers are allowed to pass is random. We waited more than an hour, after checking in, standing in the corridor while we saw other passengers pass on by other destinations. The airport staff is rude, it only made us lose more time during boarding and speaks only in French.
Beware of flights to Spain. They do not warn of anything, delays are frequent and operators do not even bother to explain anything to you, even in English. There are people who have lost their flight due to lack of information. Appalling.
Traveling within Schengen zone, still I had to go through very long queue in front of the passport control. There are many shops, the price was ridiculously expensive. Many staffs were rude, uninterested and unprofessional. Nice things were the efficient security check and fast luggage collection. I have seen worse airports, but this one was mediocre at best.
Coming from province to visit Disneyland, what was our joy to see that the park sent Kirikou and his turbulent friends to meet us. What a great adventure, my children were delighted. Thank you we come again.
This airport is saturated everywhere. Once they have passed level 1 security, Air France departing customers are stacked like cans. It is suffocating.
Perfect welcome. You will always find someone to advise you with kindness.
A shame
People stranded for security more than 20 minutes because half of the security gates are closed
And when we ask the staff to get people late or to wait for the plane, we just send you a ball where we ignore you
Note that I am not part of the people penalized but I could see more than 10 surprised missed the same flight because of the incompetence of the personnel of this airport
I love Orly Airport as much as Roissy CDG.
The staff are much more helpful and welcoming. The space is clean and diverse, the display of information is clear and simple.
It is very easy to find your way to the boarding gate.
I recommend with eyes closed and I will always make sure to take my next tickets from this airport.
Good airport but much smaller than central airport such as Charles Degaules Airport
The indications are a little blurry.Housed unwelcoming staff. Hello is a minimum when working in public contact even at 6:00 am
Stay 10 minutes at such a 0 30 a minute without answering it are smart !!!!!!!!!!
A small to medium airport south of Paris. Not many food options and even less within security. Don't recommend Boco..super expensive for what it is. Overall fairly decent airport.
Nothing close to the experience at Charles de Gaulle.
Facilities are always overcrowded, relaxing or entertainment areas almost non existent. And the worst, I am a seasoned flyers, and all the problems I have had so far in Paris (delays, cancellations...) have happened in Orly...
Watch the planes or buy things thanks to the store open 365 days a year
It is complicated ! Lose a lot of time in the car with work that never ends!
I think this is the worst airport I've ever been through. The employees were nice enough, but there are not enough of them. Every step of the process was a hassle. The conveyor belt at baggage check broke down leading to very slow moving line. The pace through security was even worse. It took an entire hour for us to get through because they only had two lines open. Our flight to New York was delayed causing us to have to run with all our luggage through JFK, arriving right at boarding time without a minute to spare. Forget about having dinner before our flight! AND Orly security made me throw away a jar of hazelnut spread which clearly was not a liquid or a gel!
Landing at Orly Airport is very quiet. For those who have already passed another airport in Europe. Easy to get around with various transportation options to your destination.
A very convenient alternative to Charles de Gaulle, depending on your destination. Much closer to Paris than CDG, so might worth checking
It's like beggars paradise over here. Every time I travel on this airport some homeless guy that stinks a lot comes sitting next to me in the area where you wait before the gates, and tells some pathetic story and I just have to give them a little money so they finally go away and stop breathing in my face.
I've even seen a same guy 3 times out of my 8 flights through here, who asks EVERYONE for 50 cents, and even makes multiple rounds (he asked me twice one time and seems to already forgot that I gave some before.
They walk around with a ton of millitary, ton of police, yet no one seems to give a single **** about all these incredibly smelly alcoholics bothering everyone, it's especially bad in the afternoon.
2/5, of which the 1 point is just the free Wifi which I can actually appreciate. If I didn't have to fly through here, I definitely wouldn't.
Tutto impeccabile tranne la maleducazione al controllo delle valigie a mano da parte della sicurezza
Paris-Orly Airport has been modernized in recent months and is now a serious international airport. The check-in area is beautifully designed and the more efficient security control saves a lot of time. Another positive feature is the fast Wi-Fi connection and the "work areas" where you can load your devices and work in peace. Only negative is the expensive arrival to the airport with Orlyval, where you pay for an 8-minute drive 9.30.
Small south terminal, far from the city and poorly connected.
At night it is isolated by public transport.
Only terminal 3 open. I tried to go with the Orlyval (RER) to Paris and the ticket machine was not working and there was nobody at the tourist information point.
That bad!
Very pleasant airport, very warm and reassuring staff, cleanliness there is nothing to say, the toilets are nickel and it feels very good, 2 hours waiting in the boarding room and all the time a person cleaning the toilet, good information, small, pleasant, comfortable, relaxing, in short it is a great airport,
for the moment no worries with Orly airport, planes always on time or almost. HA if an omission of our baggage in Paris (from vueling) when we were in Ibiza: @ September 2017 Please pay a little more attention especially when we spend 3 short days on the spot!
