I don't understand what priority boarding is for if you then have to wait for everyone else .....

Venice Marco Polo is the airport around 8-9 km from the Venice city. Airport is not too big but it's ok. There are still some facilities they need to improve. Overall fine airport to travel with in Europe maybe it can be a chaos to travel out of Europe from this airport as passing through passport control needs more time.

We had food at Decanto. They put everything in the microwave. So you pay a fortune for terrible quality of food.

One of the most elegant airports I have seen, full of fashion shops and pieces of art. Signs should be improved

Since there are works in progress anticipated by half an hour your departure, otherwise perfect, especially with regard to the low-cost parking lots that are nearby

Complete squalor. After controlling the water, you can't buy it anywhere. There are no drinking fountains. There are no vending machines with bottles. Like in the stone age. The price tag in a closed cafe is 2.70 per bottle. Completely brutalized in their greed.

Keep an eye on parking costs above 8 after the first quarter of an hour

Catch a water taxi to Venice, it's a brilliant way to see Venice for the first time, and it's much quicker than the water bus.

Every time I leave or return from this airport, I unpack my suitcase ...

Disappointed, endless queue for hold baggage, checks and gate, arrived over 2 hours before, at times I was missing the plane, a Venice Catania .. all with half an hour late, they must open 8 lanes at the controls, not just 3.

Good airport with lots of shops? Even if closed ..... due to Covid19. Many national and European routes ....... very dispersive. Convenient parking lots, even the external ones that are well connected with shuttle service ...

The bus to Rome Old Town was the second stop.
The third stop for Mestre Station, tickets can be purchased at the arrival lobby or bus stop.

Great airport. Very well cared for, even in the details. Excellent cleanliness, including bathrooms. Fast security checks and efficient checked baggage check-in.

Slightly smaller airport easy to get to the boats to Venice

Venice Airport is pretty well laid out because parking for rental cars is far and poorly signposted.

There are large walkways with exhibits, enough to pass the time on the huge treadmills.

The people there are rather pleasant and smiling, it is also rather calm for a large airport.

And it's great just to pay eight euros for the bus to get out, but I go by bike

A disgrace Volotea flight can not start because the car does not arrive to move the plane back more than half an hour stopped on the track, I do many flights this serious episode never happened to me because we are talking about an important airport from Italian I was ashamed to hear passengers criticize Italy.

Why are there two exit doors for arrivals ???? What problems are there to get everyone out of a single central door like it was before ???? at least one who is waiting for someone looks towards a single door !!!!!

If you have to make a claim for damaged baggage, find out they do times that not even at the Caltanissetta post office ... but they give you the number to call, which they obviously do not answer by leaving you - after 15 minutes of music - listening to the phone that rings for 10 minutes .
You can, of course, pay for coffee and brioches as in the center of Zurich ...

Long line upon landing to meet security. At least an hour, now I understand why people were rushing to get through the doors. When buying 2 bus tickets from a worker outside, we were shorted 2 euros. Being new travelers we we're uncertain if there was a tip built in, but after buying several bus and train tickets we are confident she either made an error in arithmetic or she was stealing for gullible travelers.

One of my favorite aeroports. Quite new, clean and where else in the world can one take a boat to get there and back to the centre of the city?

Venice, Marco Polo International and National Airport really knows how to manage departures and arrivals very well, and at the controls the rules are respected, with peace of mind. you feel safe. Clean sanitized toilets and sanitizing products at every step. Truly everything to perfection without complications, with precise rules. It struck me how he is handling everything. You arrive and depart on different floors and and everything takes place outdoors without the possibility of going inside and waiting inside. Congratulations indeed to whoever is doing this great job.

Disorganized. Nowhere to sit and enjoy something to eat. Long queues

This is definitely the worst travel experience I ever had in an an airport. The employees were very rude and unfriendly

The list efficient airport ever endless lines rude staff changing gates for no reason delays and cancellations for fog which is very usual in the area .Food and beverages very expensive and low quality. Better avoid

Very unorganized airport and rude staff ... a monstrous line to pass the controls despite a priority status! I would not recommend if you go there for work. It's crowded with tourists!

Nice and small airport with high hospitality stuff!

I've traveled all over the world, and I've never seen a more poorly organised airport. Every passenger for every flight was funneled through 1 of 3 pre flight passport checks, there were no lines or controls. It turned into a mess if line skipping, pushing and hot tempers.

Small airport, I advise to take the boat (located on the left at the exit of the airport 5 minutes walk) to go to Venice

Baggage service for maladjusted people, 10 suitcases at a time put on the conveyor belt.
Obviously I lost the connections of the vehicles ... in all this flight late.

Excellent fast and prepared efficient border police structure, the airport is well equipped and offers all services.
Good ground connections but there is some confusion between public and private services.
Even car rentals are nowhere to be found from the inside, nobody knows where they are and there is no internal signage to find them.
If you rent a car, better explain where they are inside the airport first.

Airport fairly modern and well structured, well served by buses and taxis and with flights departing and arriving from many places, the real positive note is in the landing view, flying over the lagoon and seeing Venice in the distance has something incredible

On arrival: No (welcome) atmosphere. Toilet dirty. Bus does not run on time.

Nice clean comfortable airport. It was a little difficult to understand where the passport control and customs are. Great duty free.

We had a not so nice experience with this airport.
- the waiting lines for security were significantly longer then in other European airports.
- the toilets are dirty and they flush multiple times while using.
- the eating opportunities are not much and expensive

We had a difficulty with navigation around this airport as it is pretty confusing to move around especially for departures. The overall look of this airport is very modern and beautiful but leave yourself enough time for check in as it gets busy and hard to find where you need to be. If you are flying to Venice, it is very easy to find the boat taxi that gets you to the city centre but the quest are exhausting - we have been waiting over an hour in a queue for a boat!

Blitz water taxi transport : a trap
At the airport's desk they proposed us a luxury service to,transport us in a water taxi to Venice.
The price was 160 (normally a water taxi was 120 ) and under the pretext to drive us 5mn to the water taxis' pier, they drove us by van during 20mn in Venice to Piazzale Roma and then transferred us in a water taxi during 10 mn to the hotel. They never wanted to refund us.

Easy to navigate though the airport, good selection of shops and restaurants

The baggage claim was quick. Everything is clean and bathrooms are well taken care of. Getting tickets for the bus is easy to find but there s no line setup so you may get frustrated. the coach Buses are about 200m so just keep walking when you leave the airport. There is not much available for food in the airport arrivals lounge.

Traveling with wheelchair; directed away from normal TAC security and then given the go around by security multiple times. Frustrating..

There is free wifi. In the departures area there is a terrace on the top floor from where you can be outdoors and watch the planes land and take off.
There are several places where you can charge your mobile, tablet or laptop.
There is a smoking area.

Good airport but the ground services and arrival passaport control is really bad.

If you go in the evening or take someone at night or early in the morning, there is no place nearby to have a coffee while you wait.

Nice staff, nice but not easy. Parking from usurers!

Hard to find your way, even if you are used to travel.

From boat bus terminal to departure terminal, It's take around 7 min walk.

And come on, there is no pandemic ... the airport must return to having 7000 flights a day without problems that there is no covidddi

Nice airport, well organized. We flew in the morning so its possible to see the whole Venetian laguna from the air, really awsome. Also, as we flew in during the night, it wa lovely to see her all lighted up. Also, it helped to find a coffee machine in the airport sonce it was the middle of the night and we still had to drive.

The airport is too small. TransferBuses are outside the terminal, there is not enough seating on a full day. Much is confusing the scoreboards too small. Especially at the gate area it is much too full. I wonder what they do in the high season? That's not enough for an international airport. But the main thing the shops are big enough.

Flight information is poor in great feeling. To fool that do not know. Impossible as a person.

Since the end of the works, it's the best! Lots of shops, places to sit and charge your phone. Archi clean toilets. Very well organized control. And the connection with the vaporetto terminal is a real pleasure, it is a beautiful place in addition to being practical.

Shocking how bad the passport control system is given this is the gateway to one of the world s biggest tourist attractions. More stewards than officers and they manage the queu in such incompetent fashion one wonders if it s purposefully awful to give visitors an immediate taste of Italian culture.

Poor customer service! Told me to wait 40 minutes because plane was not boarding yet. Failed to tell me to get a boarding pass from the kiosk and that its sufficient that I checked in online only and that I have my boarding pass on my phone. When it came time to drop off luggage I was asked if I have a printed boarding pass from the kiosk. Really? Couldn t tell me that earlier. Poor attitudes, no communication, rude and just nasty towards Americans. I d never travel to this airport again. When boarding the plane they randomly selected me for a drug smuggling test. Talk about BS! If my luggage passed screening and I did too obviously I am mot transporting anything. Their process send you through 4 passport checks and same stupid questions: who packed your bag? Did anyone offer you anything to carry? Did you get anything for free? Like seriously. Operated as a 3rd world country still. Don't fly into this poor excuse of an airport unless you want to be treated as a POS!

Very large airport with a large number of flights. Clean and tidy. Fast and secure check-in. Food prices, however, exaggerated.

Fast and effective security control.
Prices in shops and airport shops are enormous (as usual) and -1 * for that.

Awful mobility service especially arriving by car. Queue to find a parking and inside the free parking that is always congested except in the night, you can stay just 10 minutes, after you pay, a typical way to spill you money if you have just to leave your friends or relatives. Several years ago there were two drop off lanes separated for arrival (ground lvl) and departure (upper lvl) just in front of the entrance. Nowadays these Drop off lanes are closed and they oblige you to use the parking place in front where the flows of departures and arrivals are mixed, in fact after 10 minutes allowance you get charged 6.5 .

There s also a new thing: since last October 2018 you cannot stay and drive inside the airport area no more than 7 minutes unless you enter in a parking lot ( where you pay after 10 minutes). Evrytime you enter and exit the 7 minutes driving area the count will restart

So keep attention especially, if you are waiting for the arrival of your friends/family due to the flight is in delay or the airport cannot handle in a normal way your luggage ( here average waiting for luggage at arrival around 30-40 minutes) otherwise you get fined!
Really bad service, and unbelievable system to treat the citizens and the tourist in a public place made for them

always packed so much that you have to sit on the ground, always due to delays, always the same "technical" inconveniences (missing ladders, absent air conditioning in the COBUS, tubes that do not connect to the plane ..). really painful

If there were 0 stars I would put those ... an hour to wait for the luggage in the hold with 2 more flights ... not even in the third world

Extremely expensive short-term parking (over 6 euros for less than 40 min)
Significant temperature changes between the inside of the plane, the finger and the airport
Compared to other international airports, this airport is embarrassing.

The only airport in the world where I can't connect to the Internet !!!
