Very few seats to wait the best is to go have a coffee and stay there while waiting for departure

We were somewhat forced to eat because of a delayed flight. You have to pay way to much for each ingredient on your plate. Also expect to get a cold dish.

The announcements were most of the time in Italian only and almost never clear enough to hear it.

An ordinary airport. Got to fly there/from there a couple of times. Good thing is there is a public transport to get from the Venezia city centre to the airport. The Lost and found was of no use when my luggage got lost: was promised to get it delivered in 1 day, instead got it only when back at home in 7 days.

Not very big and these days not very busy airport. Especially not at 5 am :) Clean, signs well put and many friendly staff.

Stop in order to pick up a person who arrives only for 10 Min and if the plane is late you pay 6 per hour.

I can t believe how long takes in this airport to go through security. Staff is always so less that we almost lost the flight for waiting so long at security.
Also at security passport,guys from there was looking at us like they are God and they are someone because they re working at the airport. Before used to be much better ,but last 2 times we flow from there ,we ve been really disappointed.

Looking around the reviews for this airport I was amazed to see the amount of negative reviews. The airport is actually really lovely and I enjoyed my time there. Security was super quick and only took about 5 minutes and once through security the duty free is not too poky and is very smart. The airport has a great food selection.

In general the costumer service that I received in this airport was poor however, there was one aviation service member who stood out from the rest and went above and beyond for the stranded British Airways costumers.

Her name was Serena and her kindness over shadowed all 4 of her useless and rude colleagues.

I had to even hug her when I was leaving because she was that amazing!

I hope they were in a bad week when i visited otherwise the service is subpar. For starters the airport seems to run on an opportunistic model charging outrageous amounts for simple mistakes. According to my uncle he had to pay 24 for entering the wrong parking. He entered the long duration parking trying to pick me up and was litterally charged an /minute of stay.
I wish i could stop here but unfortunately there are more. There were 10 scheduled flights on the night of my departure... All 4 were delayed at least the flights before me. I am not sure how you can delay flights on an airport with 1 flight an hour... But there you have it. Then the boarding lasted 40 minutes... Haven't seen that for 15 years now and i count myself a frequent flyer.
I can only give points for cleanliness, fast security... And for having areas to recharge your phone.
It's nice to see they take the client's opinions seriously. I could tell they do efforts to improve. I can't change what I saw. But I hope next visit i will have reason to improve this review.

I flew in yesterday, the first thing I saw was a lot of police cars, walked away to smoke about 10 meters from the entrance, a homeless person came up and began persistently asking for money and cigarettes. So-so impression upon arrival.

It is possible that in an airport like this until 5 in the morning, many bars there are not any of them is open at night or even a coffee machine, water or snacks. It is a shame, those who manage it should take a ride at other airports, especially abroad, but probably they will never happen because the gentlemen will not travel with these hours.

Single worst airport I ve been in. They don t tell you your flights gate until it s arrived. Only five planes have any sort of information given at any time. They also switched out the normal boarding and fast boarding lanes when we were the first in line and sent us to the back saying we were in the wrong line despite being there before the rest of the crowd.

The new renovation is very confusing and poorly organized. Check-ins are very slow, security is not the best and too much waiting is created. The connections with the buses are absent in the evening even if there are still planes departing or arriving.

It has been improved the waiting area and arrival. Baggage delivery that is slow continues to be a problem and luggage on the carpet is often damaged such as bruises or broken wheels.

Airport not sufficiently equipped to cope with the large number of travelers in transit, bars and restaurants are very expensive, a huge price for the means of transport to reach the airport! Definitely not recommended for families!

company running the line so off course I was in the wrong bus and they where delighted to charge me again the full fair

Nothing seemed to work as it should at this airport. Worst was the Second floor Burger joint: if you wish to be robbed of your money and get treated like a subhuman creature by the staff, this is just your place. If not, avoid it like the plague.

Very well-kept airport and, after the last works, at the height of the city that hosts it. Large, pleasant, always clean ... excellent. A single flaw in my opinion is the passenger drop-off area that was once on the upper floor, is now in the front parking lot too chaotic

Excellent structure with comfortable flights to the USA. It is a complete airport with excellent management of check in and boarding checks. It is less congested than Milan Malpensa, but for the intercontinental flights of the Lombards it is distant even if it constitutes an excellent alternative '

The staff here is very rude. As a person who does not fly often, I had some questions, and the lady behind the counter was answering them with the most "why is this idiot asking me" face I ever saw.

National and international excellence, super efficient and flowing controls. Flights to and from anywhere. Never had problems despite the many trips made. Parking a bit expensive but you can solve the problem thanks to the many parking lots with shuttle service in the surrounding area. Have a good trip to everyone

The airport is neat and modern. Orientation is not difficult because it is not particularly large either. Still, he has his number of passengers. It is one of the most beautiful and organized airports in Italy. Recently renovated, it is large and tidy, with attention also to the interior architecture. Functional and rational in the arrangement of chairs, shops and bars (all extremely and unjustifiably expensive).

Nice airport. All clear. There is Wi-Fi, there is a smoking room.
A little embarrassed by a large number of people at the counter of lost luggage. Everything was fine with our luggage, we just paid attention.

Venice Marco polo airport is very cosy and pretty nice airports around Europe. It's spacious and comfortable. The staff are very polite and the most important point is that they all speak and understand English, unlike other airports.

I liked the atmosphere there ,I was waiting with some travellers in a hall and there were no enough seats ,but I understand it's Summer season. In particular what I liked most the access to venice by bus boat .

parking short stay 28 min. 6.50 euros, a theft ..... Venice airport does not have a shuttle that communicates it directly with Treviso airport, therefore: Bus ticket to Mestre railway station, cost 8.00 euros, change of bus Mestre -Apt Treviso cost 12.00 euros total 21.00 .... a scandal .... travel time 45 min.
Vienna apt -Bratislava apt 7.50 euros, 45 minutes journey, bus with WIFI .... ANOTHER WORLD .... shame ..

Extremely slow passport control. There is an awful lot of confusion around the airport.

I went a few years ago and I remember that it was small for the volume of tourism there is. Even so, it is equipped with at least what is necessary to be there for a while.

Everything is well indicated and you can easily find the place where you want to go. Taxis, different buses, luggage, boarding gates ..

From other sites you also have different ways to go to the airport just as well signposted.

Terminals are too small for waiting. AC barely works. There was good artwork at least.

Beautifully located airport. Rather medium size but there is something to do before departure. Prices in stores are higher than in the city, but they are not terrifying. The safety briefing takes place without major difficulties. In the hall there is a colorful fountain that has a water wall adjacent to which you can sit and relax.
Access to the city is possible by bus (cheap and fast option 8e) taxi and private motor boat (120e) I recommend the bus, it leaves every now and then so no pressure.

I put a star because I can not put less. I have never seen an airport so poorly organized. It's not enough to have luxury shops !!!! It would be better quality at the track and personal level. Already 4 hours late because the staff forget to empty the bunkers of a plane and a single track open because of work. It's a shame.

Completely overloaded. Hardly seating, loud and poorly organized.

Nice airport. Late evening departures are comfortable, although the business room is already closed. On arrival, passport control, sometimes there are a lot of people.

Many lifts and areas are closed. Difficult to find rental car place once landed.

Fast customservice. Airport not to big. But there is a second floor with a foodcourt where you can sit and relax. Easy to travel by boottaxi to Rialto takes about 45 min.

There are too many tourists in Venice, so the local authorities decided to make predatory conditions for those who meet and see off. The first hour of fast parking is 6.50 . Only the first 10 minutes are free, you won t be able to cut circles - you drove more than 3 times and pay 18 on top. Moreover, the same system was made at the entrance to the airport so that no one could wait for passengers in the front lane of the two-lane road (7 minutes to travel, if the fine is more than 81 ). But at the same time, there is no long waiting area when the driver in the car is waiting for passengers and arriving at the airport on a call. Tickets for public transport are at least double the price. With all this, the control staff is very fond of specially creating queues, so you never know when you will go outside.

Nice airport with large windows overlooking the lagoon, spacious, clean, tidy, has plenty of seating, quick and scrupulous controls, great shops

For the period in which we are reviewing the active Marco Polo is a symbol of recovery. Nice, comfortable, clean and functional.

Practical, bright, fast security, duty free not very interesting.
